Chapter 6: He Is Mine

Notes:

This is probably my worst written chapter....

Chapter Text

“Pa will you tell me or will I figure it out myself.”

Khun Korn's eyes flickered on his son sitting on the chair to his hands that were flat on the table. Kinn's expression was neutral, his eyes devoid of any emotion he might be feeling right now.

Among all of his sons, Kinn was the most discerning. As a child, he was extremely obedient to the point of doing the right thing without even being told to. He was a model child every parent would ever want.

Yet Khun Korn was aware that Kinn wasn't like normal children of his age not because he couldn't, no it was quite the opposite. Kinn even as a child knew what he was capable of, so he purposefully concealed his authentic self and put on this persona that he knew others would appreciate.

Only seldom Kinn's real self would come out.

Just as today when he entered Khun Korn's chamber, he was instantly aware that Kinn knew.

"When you were a child. People used to tell us how you resemble me." Khun Korn started speaking, "Yet as you grew up. I realised even though you looked like me, you are exactly like your mother."

The ghost of a smile appeared on his face, "I knew you would leave earlier than scheduled."

Kinn hummed seemingly satisfied.

"But Pa." He said, "This was not the answer to my question." His golden eyes bore into Khun Korn's. "Will you tell me what is the relationship between us and Porsche's family or do I need to destroy something to get the truth?"

"I can tell you." Khun Korn affirmed, "In fact, I can tell you everything except the culprit. Because I truly don't know who that is…." He trailed off, "But not you but Porsche. This is something I'd want Porsche to be present when I talk about. If you wish to know, come back with him."

Kinn looked utterly dissatisfied for a moment. Khun Korn knew why, he was an alpha too. He knew Kinn had been on the edge for being forced to be out of his den before his comfort and Tawan suddenly asked for an audience.

He won't allow Porsche to be out just after meeting with Tawan. Not even when Khun Korn was his own father.

"I understand." Kinn nodded. Then he got up and left.

Khun Korn looked to the side to see the hibiscus flowers on his balcony.

Kinn is different.

Anuska used to say.

Let him lead.

He is born for this.

Otherwise, the empire will be in shambles.

“You were right.” Khun Korn whispered to the flowers.

……………

Kinn entered the penthouse to find Porsche in the walk-in closet.

“What are you doing?” Kinn asked when he saw his omega sorting through clothes. Porsche hummed, “Dew delivered the suit I will be wearing, I was just putting it away.”

To Kinn’s utter displeasure he was reminded that in two days Porsche would be meeting Tawan alone. Not that he couldn't allow this, his orders were the final. Yet he left the decision to Porsche and his omega agreed.

"What did Khun Pa say?" Porsche asked.

Kinn smiled as he wrapped a hand around Porsche's waist. He looked more and more beautiful as his heat cycle was restored and his nutrition was balanced. The bony body slowly gained muscles and started becoming plump, Kinn just could not get enough.

"Pa said we should give him grandchildren now." He joked.

Porsche rolled his eyes, "Be serious!"

Kinn wiggled his eyebrows, "Why do you think I am not serious hm?" He pressed a kiss on Porsche's lips.

His omega laughed loudly, and then pulled him into a kiss. Kinn smiled in the kiss and shoved his hands inside the loose T-shirt he was wearing, Porsche shivered to giggle in the kiss.

After a few hours when both of them were sweaty and sore from the love-making, Porsche asked, “Why does Vegas look so nervous about Tawan?”

Kinn was silent for a few minutes before replying.

"When I introduced Tawan to the pack Vegas used to live here." Kinn said, "Everyone moderately liked him, there was no reason to dislike him after all. However…." Kinn trailed off, his mind suddenly going back to the memories as he tried to recall.

"Tawan fell in love with Vegas…" He spoke. "As he was an omega it gave him the reason to choose his alpha and he chose Vegas and broke our engagement." Kinn swallowed, "Vegas did not accept him. In fact, he told me Tawan was not like he shows, even though he did not have any evidence to support it."

Porsche was listening quietly, his hands that wrapped around him stroked his chest.

"Vegas rejected the offer and left home because he felt guilty. Tawan cut off all contact with us."

Kinn stopped.

“Did you love him?” Porsche asked. He was looking at Kinn with his head propped up on his palm.

Kinn stared into his eyes, Porsche’s gaze was open without any emotions in it.

“Yes.” He answered finally.

“I did love him and thought maybe we will have a future…” Kinn took a deep breath, looking for any stray emotion left in his heart. There was none whatsoever, he felt nothing for Tawan, not even disappointment.

Porsche pressed a kiss on Kinn’s forehead.

“I never blamed Vegas for what happened but now that I have gotten married, I hope he can finally come and live here.” Kinn said.

Then he changed the topic, no longer wanting to talk about Tawan. “Pa said he would give us the answers.” He told Porsche, “But he wants your presence.” Porsche hummed, “I will go.” He affirmed, “But not now, I want to be alone with you after I meet Tawan. I cannot meet Khun Pa in that state.”

Kinn was glad he and Porsche were on the same wavelength about this visit.

Tawan asked the audience formally, which meant Porsche would be meeting him alone without Kinn and would be in public, like in their outer courtyard but in special chambers. This will not only be Porsche’s first audience after he was married into the clan but also his security will have to be top-notch in case any threat comes.

Kinn did not trust anyone outside of his pack. Tawan will be bringing his security and Kinn could not trust them to cause any harm to Porsche even indirectly.

……………

“Pete you will be staying beside Porsche, no matter what. Do not leave his side.” Kinn ordered.

“Yes sir.” Pete nodded, his back straight as a bowstring.

“Big will be taking care of the entrances. I believe you can brief the one under you.”

“Yes sir!”

“Dew you will be in charge of the backup.”

“Yes Sir!”

“And Arm-”

“Let me stay in the security cameras.”

The people in the room turned to see Vegas who just entered.

"Vegas?" Kinn blinked. "When did you arrive?" He asked.

"Just now." Vegas sat on the empty chair beside Kinn. "I heard from Kim that you will do the security briefing. So I came."

Kinn glanced at Pete and then at Porsche.

Porsche asked, "Are you sure, Vegas?"

Vegas stared at him before nodding. "Yes. I know. Tawan he-" He swallowed before speaking, "He will pull something. I just know."

"Okay then." Kinn affirmed, "You will take care of the security cameras and Arm will assist you."

"Yes sir." Arm obeyed.

Finally, when the day came, Porsche did not feel the nerves that he should have felt. Kinn was helping him with his hair, his massive eyebrows scrunched in concentration but Porsche could tell his hair was not the only thing Kinn was concentrating on.

Porsche's hands slowly travelled on Kinn's back embracing the other, "Don't get too stressed." He soothed.

Kinn sighed, "I don't feel at ease."

"I know…" Porsche replied.

It was perhaps a sick coincidence that Kinn was summoned in a very important territory dispute. He could not cancel the appointment even if he wanted to.

Porsche connected their foreheads. He could see the terrified eyes of his alpha. That nobody would notice.

To the outside world, Kinn Anakinn was the most reliable alpha, a fearsome leader and the most capable heir of the generation. Yet, in front of Porsche Kinn showed his anxiety and his fear.

Currently, Kinn was scared of losing Porsche, terrified of the worst to happen and coming home to an empty room.

Kinn took several deep breaths inhaling Porsche's scent. The scent of ripened jackfruit filled his mind, it grounded him and then distracted his mind earlier when they were making love.

"It will be okay." Porsche whispered. His mouth was on Kinn's scent gland, mouthing it gently to reassure him.

Fifteen minutes later Kinn left. His shoulder was still stiff but less rigid than earlier. His eyes still held anxiety but not brimming with it.

Porsche let out a sigh as he saw the car leave the compound.

"How many hours are left?" He asked Pete who was standing beside him.

"Two hours and twenty minutes." Pete answered.

Porsche hummed, "Tell everyone to gather in our penthouse. I want to hear some last-minute briefing."

Vegas told Porsche to carry one button camera and one listening device. Pete will have one, while the corners of the rooms will have the visible ones.

Arm and Vegas set up the whole room for monitoring. Along with two more people, they will be watching every step of the visitors.

Around 2:30 pm the security informed them that Tawan has entered the compound.

Porsche arrived there at 3 o'clock. His steps were rhythmic with the grandfather clock in the outer compound. The area he entered was not very lavish compared to the other room; it was Porsche’s idea to show exactly how important Tawan was to him.

The said man was sitting on the chair.

“Bow to the Head Omega.” Pete instructed. His eyes disapproved of the manners that the other omega was showing. Tawan raised an eyebrow, “You cannot be serious Pete.” Tawan’s voice was light as if he was speaking to a friend.

Yet Pete was having none of it.

“Bow. To. The. Head. Omega. Khun Tawan.” Pete gritted his teeth, his hand was about to move to the holster when Porsche stopped it. He shook his head at his bodyguard and turned to Tawan who was staring at him.

“And here I thought I was the one who might lack manners.” Porsche mused, “But what a surprise.”

Tawan’s jaw tightened, he kneeled on the ground and made a gesture of wai , “Tawan greets Khun Porsche.” He strangled out.

Porsche stayed silent for ten seconds before replying, “Rise.”

As they sat on the sofa around the table Porsche’s eyes brushed over Tawan. The omega was a handsome individual, attractive yet his eyes told a different story. Vegas was right when he told Kinn that Tawan was not what he seemed. Though Porsche would not blame Kinn for loving him.

“So.” Porsche spoke as he crossed one leg over the other, “What reason arose for you to ask for an audience with me.”

Tawan stared at him and Porsche could somehow see the earlier confidence fading away, replacing it with something of caution.

“Did you settle in the family well?” Tawan asked.

Porsche frowned, “Yes I did.”

Tawan's face morphed into a smirk, "Oh this family is too good at welcoming new guests. I wonder why they accepted you so fast…" He trailed off and ran his eyes on Porsche.

The indication was clear.

"I guess Khun Kinn values the person more than their birth don't you think." Porsche spoke, "But then again. How can he spare traitors."

Tawan's eyes flared, "Khun Porsche." He said, "You trust your husband too much."

"Trust is the first step of a prosperous marriage." Porsche retorted, "And between Kinn and I, there is a lot more than just love."

"Love." Tawan scoffed. "I loved once." He gave a rueful smile. "But that ended up having a bullet in my chest."

He smirked at Porsche, "Do you know who shot me?" He waited a bit before continuing, "Your beloved husband."

Porsche felt Pete stiffen beside him; he knew the alpha was looking at him. He didn't know Kinn shot Tawan, Kinn skipped this part when he was telling him the story.

But Tawan didn't need to know that.

"Do not behave like you loved him Tawan." Porsche's voice has a hint of dismissal, "Let's not pretend we don't know whom you are actually here for."

"But." He added, "You will get neither of them." He smirked, "Vegas belongs to Kinn and Kinn, he is mine."

Tawan gritted his teeth. "Aren't you being too arrogant Khun Porsche?"

Before Porsche could speak the door slammed open and Vegas entered. Porsche did not get up from his seat, only frowned.

"Vegas what-"

Before he could finish his sentence, Vegas fell onto his knees in front of him. Porsche got up from his seat, his eyes widened in shock.

"Vegas?!" He roared.

"Porsche you must know Tawan is lying." Vegas was kneeling in front of him. Kneeling for Kinn, for his brother, for his alpha.

"Kinn shot him, yes." He confessed, "But he hid that from you for my sake."

Porsche stared at Vegas then glanced at Tawan who was standing with his eyes wide and a sick glint in them. Porsche's stomach churned to even guess the intentions behind it.

"Vegas." Porsche spoke, his hands touched his shoulder, but Vegas flinched.

"I beg you Khun Pachara please do not misunderstand your alpha." Vegas's eyes were red, his whole form was shaking.

"Vegas!" Porsche yelled, "I said get up! Pete help him!" He instructed and the other alpha quickly grabbed him by his shoulders.

Porsche exhaled. He had a feeling that Kinn was probably rushing to the compound; he needed to kick out this man as soon as possible.

"If you have finished your speech you will be escorted out." Porsche told him.

Tawan's eyes flashed as he dragged his eyes from Vegas to him. "How can I leave before greeting Kinn—"

"Kinn will not be greeting you." Porsche cut him off. As his eyes bore into the other; he used his husband's casual name.

"And." He added, "You may address him as Khun Kinn like the rest of the world. As you know, his casual name is only for family."

"Escort him out." Porsche ordered big.

Tawan looked like he wanted to say something so Porsche again spoke.

"Today the only thing that saved you from me is my responsibility towards my mate and my pack." Porsche grinned. "Otherwise we ferals are not really fond of speech, we let our claws do the talking."

Porsche watched as Tawan was escorted out.

Then he turned to Vegas and patted his shoulder, "I did not misunderstand your brother Vegas. Calm down, let's talk later."

He nodded at Pete who was holding him and walked away.

True to his prediction, Kinn arrived even before he could cross the inner compound, like a storm he crossed the hall but stopped right in front of Porsche. He hesitated with his hand motioning, not sure if he was allowed or not.

Porsche sighed, “Why did you run from there?” He asked, observing Kinn’s skewed hair and clothes. Then he took his hand and they walked inside the main house.

As soon as they entered the seclusion of their room Kinn’s breathing started to be shaky. His alpha straight went to the bathroom with humanly impossible strides.

“Kinn! Wait!” Porsche ran after him.

Porsche knew when Kinn left for the bathroom. The day when he was first drugged, he woke up and straight went to the bathroom and took a cold shower, then stared at himself in the mirror. It was a way to control his panic, to make a list in his head with Dos and Don’ts

“What are you doing!” Porsche stopped Kinn from turning on the ice-cold shower.

“Kinn.” He called the frantic man in front of him.

“For once Kinn let it out!” He begged.

Kinn’s breath hitched as he looked at Porsche. The golden eyes that shone so brightly were pale, tears were threatening to fall yet couldn’t. Kinn gasped like a fish out of the air, the panic so severe that the scream couldn't get out of his throat even though he wanted to so desperately.

“Porsche….” The faint sound was all he could wheeze from his lips.

“Shit.” Porsche cursed. He quickly undid Kinn’s suit jacket and pulled it off, then his shirt and pants as much as he could, “Breathe love.” He whispered to Kinn. “Breathe in.” He took a deep breath and Kinn mimicked.

Breathe in

Breath out

Breath in

Breathe out

It was nothing Porsche was prepared for. What he could do his best was follow his instinct and push Kinn in the crook of his neck and let him breathe his scent.

He didn’t count how long they just stayed like that, Porsche back pressed on the long mirror and Kinn wrapped around him trying to calm himself down. He realised for the first time he saw Kinn like this, before it was not that bad, Kinn did not react this badly. Only when Tawan mentioned Vegas and the past did Kinn’s panic resurface.

“Porsche.” Kinn called. His breathing had turned normal. He was mouthing on Porsche’s neck, looking for comfort. He let his alpha undress him, the jacket, the shirt and when Kinn pulled down his trousers they were sharing heated kisses.

It was not of passion, but rather to feel the skin of each other to feel close and for Kinn, it was to assure that Porsche was still there. So Porsche let him feel it, let him take his fill and be one with Kinn.

Kinn was half hard and Porsche grabbed his shaft enclosing then with his own hard one. He smiled at Porsche, a full predatory grin with golden eyes glinting in the soft light. Porsche shivered as he stroked their members, now erected fully.

"Porsche…" Kinn called again, this time not in panic but with desire. His hands flicked and Kinn moaned in his ears, the smell of sandalwood started spreading rapidly.

Porsche felt his eyelids getting heavy with the sheer weight of pheromones. Yet he didn't stop, Kinn kissed him again, swallowing the moans from his mouth.

With a final flick of his wrist, they both came together, painting their stomachs with cum. Kinn panted, one of his hands scruffed his nape so tight he was sure it would leave a bruise. Another held his waist as Kinn pushed his nose in his collarbone inhaling his scent.

Porsche held him, panting with the aftermath. Trying to hold onto this shaking man because if he let go Kinn would fall apart. The little sobs turned loud and Porsche stared at the ceiling wondering how long Kinn had cried alone. How long Kinn has only taken cold baths to subside his panic, how long had he deprived himself of comfort?

……………

The shower was peaceful with the way Porsche arranged it for him. Kinn felt a little dizzy while his omega took care of him, the steady hands around his shoulders, the gentle hands in his hair that dried it.

Porsche sat him down on the bed and dried his hair with the hair dryer. Kinn felt slightly embarrassed meeting Porsche's eyes, especially after his earlier meltdown. The fear he was trying to suppress for days exploded when he was informed that Tawan tried to manipulate Porsche.

He couldn't let go of Porsche. If it was before maybe he could have, but not now, not after he lived with him, breathed in his scent, found a home in his arms.

"Hey."

A soft tug in his hair pulled him out of his thoughts. Porsche finished his hair drying and was now adjusting it into a presentable state. Kinn circled his arms around his waist and breathed in his stomach.

"Can you always do it?" Kinn said, feeling his omega's caresses on his back, "Mae used to dry my hair always. I felt annoyed back then."

Porsche's hands didn't stop in his hair. He hummed wordlessly.

They stayed like that before Kinn eventually pulled out his face from his stomach and brought him on his lap. Porsche stared into his eyes, caressing the under-eye area that was swollen.

"This month of your heat is next week right." Kinn asked. Porsche nodded, "Yeah I will call the doctor for a check-up tomorrow."

Kinn nodded, "It's been almost four months right? You should talk to her about the suppressant, didn't she give you a three months time limit?" He asked. Porsche shook his head, "Yes but I don't plan to go on suppressant any time soon."

Kinn blinked, "How so?"

"She said my hormones have finally started to regulate better. I don't want to disrupt it anymore." Porsche said, "I have already done enough damage, any more and my fertility will be in danger."

Kinn frowned, "You didn't do it because you wanted to. It was not your fault, you did everything to protect yourself…" He trailed off, shuddering when he recalled the information he got from Kim.

"And don't worry about fertility or anything." Kinn added, "Do it for your sake."

Porsche smiled, "I know you would say that." He pinched his cheeks playfully, "But trust me, I am doing it for my sake, for our sake." He said, "You gave me so much, I could at least give you a child."

"Hey." Kinn pulled him closer by his waist. "That's everything you could ever give to me. Why must you compare it? And if we do compare what I did for you was my duty. This…” Kinn gestured at his stomach, “...does not fall under your duty, you would be the same to me even without a child.”

“Stupid.” Porsche scoffed in answer. “So what is my duty then?” He wiggled his eyebrows.

Kinn smirked, “Your duty..” He fell backwards, pulling Porsche with him then flipped them, “..is to love me.” He kissed his omega’s forehead, “I don’t want anything else from you except your love. Love me, trust me, rely on me. I don’t want anything else from you.”

Tears welled up in Porsche’s eyes and Kinn felt his heart stutter.

"I do." Porsche spoke, "This is why I want to have your child." He caressed Kinn's face, "I want us to be happy together, just like our parents wanted."

Kinn kissed him.

"Okay." He said between kisses. "Let the doctor run some tests. If she gives you a full green light, we can try."

When Kinn entered the inner compound area he found all of the family sitting around waiting for him. Tankhun was the first to speak, "Are you feeling alright now?" His older brother asked as he patted his cheeks. Kinn nodded, glancing at Kim who was not seemingly paying attention to them but the way he was clutching the iPad was too obvious.

Chay and Macau sat straight and Kinn nodded at them.

Then his eyes fell on Vegas who was sitting on the recliner with his legs propped up, he was checking in a laptop. Beside him Pete was sitting on the handle, his eyes glanced at Kinn and Kinn knew what the alpha wanted to say.

A hand patted his back and Kinn saw Porsche standing beside him.

"Let's start the meeting." Kinn announced as he sat down on the chair.

The pictures that Porsche brought from his home lay on the table between them as they looked at each one of them.

“We both have Memory Fogging .” Tankhun concluded. Kinn hummed, glancing at Pete who rose up from beside Vegas and kneeled in front of Tankhun. “Let me check.” He said.

The diagnosis was simple, Pete would concentrate on Tankhun’s memories to see if anything was amiss. The process didn’t require the subject’s memories to be uncovered by the shaman.

“Khun Kinn and Khun Tankhun both of your memories were fogged by the same person.” Pete said as he let go of Tankhun’s hand. “I couldn’t see much except it was an alpha, however…” He trailed off as he frowned, “The one who did it tied it up with another person’s life.”

“What does that mean?” Tankhun asked.

Kinn answered, “It means to get our memories back we need to kill that person.”

Pete was frowning, “Khun Kinn the magic is very powerful, it was not done by a normal shaman.” Kinn pursed his lips, “Is there any possibility that our mother can do it?” He asked.

“What?” Porsche’s head snapped up.

Kim spoke, “He is right. Since all of you have no memories there are a lot of things you know are lies. Maybe she did it to protect you.”

“What makes you conclude that?” Tankhun asked.

“Because there is no one in this country who is capable of doing such dangerous magic.” Pete answered, “Tying up a life with someone’s memories and fogging them takes a lot of experience and,” He shrugged, “talent. Which only Khun Mae had.”

“Which cost her life…” Kinn finished.

Silence enveloped the room. Kinn felt Porsche’s hand on his and he rubbed his fingers on his omega’s knuckles.

“I will talk to Pa.” Tankhun announced. “Don’t.” Kinn stopped him, “I already did and I don’t think he knows anything about the threat we are facing. We can just hear about the family history later.”

Kinn let out a sigh and moved to Kim, “What is your status?”

Kim grinned, “Oh I found a lot. Look.” He gave Kinn his iPad. “The guy we couldn’t trace at the border, guess where I found him.” Kinn saw the video of their CCTV at the main gate of the outer compound. The man thought he was on the blindside of the cameras but was unaware of the hidden one, Kinn could clearly see the man getting out of the car and smoking.

“This…” Kinn trailed off. Kim nodded.

It was the same guy who drove to Porsche’s pack disguising themselves as the Theerapanyakun family envoy. Kinn gritted his teeth as he swiped the screen and found the information about the man.

“I was searching up citizen data but it turned out I just needed to search up the security detail of Tawan.” Kim’s voice was rough.

“What’s the difference between citizen data and Tawan’s security details?” Porsche asked.

“Because Tawan’s security details don't have people who are registered in the civil register of the country.” Vegas answered.

Kinn was silent, the gears of his brain were working. The family did not involve themselves with the affairs of the country other than business and territorial disputes. So naturally, they will not be keeping an eye on the civil register as well, since it was a state affair and not a Pack affair.

Yet, behind their backs, a group of people were not being registered. Which meant they could be used as weapons and won’t even be convicted because of the lack of information the state had on them.

“I have another piece of news.” Vegas commented. Then slid his laptop towards Kinn, “I have been keeping an eye on Tawan for 3 years now and found information that nobody knew.” He said, “Do you know what is Tawan’s last name?” Vegas asked Kinn.

“Atitarn.” Kinn replied.

Vegas shook his head, “No. His last name is Sudham ,” Vegas said, “He is the son of Prime Minister Kultilda Sudham.”

“What!?” Tankhun exclaimed. “Didn’t she say her son died? She even showed us his death certificate!” Then turned silent because forging was nothing and she said her son died in a foreign country.

Kinn drummed his finger on the table, he tuned out all of the discussion around him.

All of a sudden, the equation started to fall in place.

3 years ago Tawan approached him, and their relationship started. Yet, Kinn had always felt Tawan was trying to be someone, trying to be someone that Kinn was supposed to find familiar.

Prime Minister Sudham was elected in 2015 and before that, she was a committee member. She was from a prominent clan as well as had high ambitions. One of the reasons she rose to power so quickly. Kinn pinched the bridge of his nose, there was something he was missing, something that was right in front of him but he couldn’t find it.

“This is treason.” Kinn said in the end. “She is moving against us.”

Years ago, the Theerapanyakun family started to conceal themselves amidst the change of ruling. There was a deal between the current government and them. Which was to never cross them, and never do anything that will be a threat because even though political power changed. They were still the supreme alpha family and if they would like, the Theerapanyakun family could take back their power as easily as they had left it.

“I will send out a decree,” Kinn said.

The letter was handwritten with a seal of the family as it was carried out.

This is a decree from Anakinn Theerapanyakun, The Supreme Alpha of The Nation.

To summon the ministry of the country and the packs in the city and beyond the border inside the Theerapankun Mansion in two days. If anyone would be reluctant, they will be marked for treachery.

There was a small smile etched on his lips as he leaned back on the chair. He was looking like the alpha he was, the ruler he was. With a grin, he spoke, “20 years of the flawless plan, yet your own son caused your downfall.”

Notes:

I see people making Chay an omega but where is the fun in that?
