Chapter Text
Yang seemed to hate Jaune spending time with anyone other than her. Correction, Yang hated whenever Jaune spent time with any GIRL other than her. Solution, take her with him. Jaune was paraphrasing several powerpoints and quite a few sessions of unrequested begging from the dragon’s part. Jaune thought that she would be just tagging along, but he was wrong, of course. Yang the pet dragon was tagging along. She referred to herself as that, by the way, and was very affectionate in that form. Yang had even taken up being a brat to try and force Jaune to pay more attention to her. Jaune and Pyrrha were spending a day at a fair in Vale to reconnect after she had to go back to Mistral for a championship for a few weeks. Of course, Yang had to come along and rest on his shoulders with a teasing look in her eyes as she stuck her forked tongue out at Pyrrha. “Yang, behave.” He warned her as her horned ears flattened a little as a slight blush appeared on her scales (orangish-gold instead of yellow). “Or else I won’t brush your hair tonight.” The scales paled as Yang’s wings folded onto her back and Yang shivered slightly before she curled in around his neck.
“I’m sorry.” Yang whispered mentally, her voice sounding so meek and mild. Then again, Yang was always meek around him lately. She was so eager to please, it was only when she was under the saddle and they were in the air that some of her fire returned around him. Jaune smiled at her as he gave her a few pats on the head, making her purr with delight as her scales glowed. Pyrrha looked quite put out though for some reason.
“Jaune, can we-” Pyrrha was cut off by the dragon flapping her wings and flying around Jaune before tugging on his sleeve with her teeth and claws.
“Jaune! Jaune!” Yang exclaimed happily. “Look! Look! It’s a sweater that matches my eyes!” Jaune laughed as he followed her along before patting her on the head again. “Can I have it? Can I?” She asked, looking at him with wide eyes that seemed far too adorable to exist on a dragon. Jaune sighed before shaking his head. “Please, Jaune?”
“Alright, alright.” Jaune rubbed the back of his neck before pulling out his scroll and purchasing it for his little dragon. ‘I need to get her a leash.’ Jaune grumbled as he packaged the sweater so Yang could wear it during her brief time she spent as a human. Mostly in the bedroom. The dragoness had gotten really used to not wearing clothes. She either slept on Jaune’s chest in her smaller form or next to his bed in her larger one. Jaune had even used her wing as a blanket once, on accident. They had to replace the carpeting because Yang got too excited and started orgasming. Luckily, Jaune woke up to the smell of the carpet burning and got his dragon to transform back into her human form before she melted a hole through the floor. She switched to sleeping on his chest the next night.
The only real problem with her basically living in dragon form was her habit of flying too far from Jaune, but that could be solved simply enough. Jaune looked over at a pet store’s stall and smiled darkly. Yang followed him, perched on his head this time before leaning down into his field of vision. “What are we getting here?” She asked.
“You said you wouldn’t fly so far from me, but you keep doing it.” Jaune admonished her. She lowered her head further into his gaze. “But, I’ve figured out a solution. I know you enjoy being with me like this, so I offer you this compromise. He picked up a lilac collar that would snugly fit around Yang’s neck while she was in the cat-sized dragon form. Yang’s whole head began to glow brilliantly which made Jaune worried for a moment. He thought he might have gone too far and was about to get roasted, but the light dimmed and Yang seemed even more submissively eager than ever before.
“W-Will I get a matching leash?” Jaune nodded as she flew in front of him, slowly flapping her wings. “A-And one of those metal tags in the shape of the heart that has my name on it? With ‘If found, please return to Jaune Arc’ on the back?” Yang asked as she looked away. Her inner self was naked, again, but was blushing more than she ever had before. There were heavy breaths as her sizable breasts heaved up and down, her hardened nipples bobbing along with them like a spasmodic conductor. In this form, the inner Yang was much smaller, as if she was at a distance from him, so he was able to glance down at her nether regions to assess the situation properly. She might have just been cold and out of breath, right? Jaune smirked as he saw the arousal leak out of her. No, leak is the wrong word. The arousal gushed from her as she rubbed her thighs together and looked at him with heavy lust and desire in her eyes. Of course, none of these made their appearance on the draconic Yang (fortunately), but Jaune nodded nonetheless.
It took a few minutes of discussion and an awkward explanation to the booth’s owner before Jaune was able to purchase the collar and leash. Yang squirmed with delight as he carefully affixed the collar to her neck, careful to avoid any ridges or spines that might make her uncomfortable. Pet Yang’s spines were less defensive and more like extra sensory organs. She could tell the temperature, weather patterns, and many other physical phenomena with them, so he wanted to make sure that her collar didn’t interfere with that. Luckily, the collar was just thin enough to make it around her neck and rest between two ridges. Jaune hooked the leash onto the back of her collar and connected it to a carabiner on his bag. It was one of the retractable leashes where Jaune could control how far it went, so Yang wasn't too far above his head, and there wasn’t too much slack drooping in the sky. He got the tag made at where dogs and cats get their ID tags made, embarrassing and arousing Yang even more. After he hooked it onto the D-ring on her collar, Jaune finally remembered why they had come to Vale. “Oh, no! Pyrrha!” He called out, searching for his partner.
“S-Stupid dragon!” He heard as he crept around a corner and saw his partner crying and yelling at the same time. A brick wall was being decimated by her; clearly, she had been there a while. “That should be me! I should be clinging to him and drawing his attention whenever possible! S-She’s barely even human anymore. Jaune just keeps laughing at each noise she makes as if they’re in their own world. One I’m not part of…” Jaune sighed as Yang perched on his shoulder.
“I-Is she right?” Yang asked as she leaned against his neck. “Am I, am I not even human anymore? Is this my true form and my human body was a lie?” Yang asked as hot tears welled up in the corner of her eyes.
“Yang, no.” Jaune whispered as he cradled her in his arms and walked away from Pyrrha. “You are human, Yang. You’re a beautiful and gorgeous girl. I know you only take this form because you can be with me all the time and not get accused of indecency. If you’re doubting yourself though, remember what you wanted at the fair.”
“A-A sweater.” Yang whispered. “I wanted a sweater.”
“Dragons don’t wear sweaters.” Jaune explained in a gentle voice. “People do. That’s a sweater that you, Yang the woman, wanted.” Yang smiled as she looked up at him.
“C-Can I be human for the rest of the day?” She asked, as if it wasn’t her own body.
“Of course, Yang.” Jaune smiled as he unhooked the leash and started for the collar.
“Wait! Let me show you something.” She flew off down an empty alleyway. Jaune followed her. “This is just in case it doesn’t work.” She closed her eyes and landed on the ground before the transformation occurred once more. This time, instead of a naked Yang, she was in her usual outfit, but with a new addition: a lilac choker with a golden heart on the center of her neck. “See?” Yang asked with a giggle. She twirled around, her lovely mane of hair flowing behind her as Jaune physically heard her voice for the first time in days. “I wanted to surprise you, so I’ve been practicing.” Yang told him shyly. “That’s why I’ve been staying in dragon form so often. Goodwitch said that I could only stay in your room in dragon form, but I could only be your helper in human form.”
“Helper?” Jaune asked. “What do you mean by that?”
“You know, helping you out in combat class. I am yours, remember? When a knight goes to battle, he takes his horse. You take your dragon.” Yang smiled as if it wasn’t twisted logic at all. “I am your property, remember?” Yang looked far too happy at that. Actually… Her nipples were poking through her shirt. Not literally, the fabric was holding up, but it was clear that Yang wasn’t wearing a bra. “Um, I can explain.” Jaune sighed as he offered her his jacket. It wasn’t his hoodie; no, Yang burned that after burping on pizza night. He had taken it off to avoid staining it, but Yang had lost control for a moment and belched fire and destroyed his collectible. He had a gambeson now to go under his chestplate, one with a yellow dragon icon embedded in the inner layers. This jacket was a gift from Tai after Jaune and Yang officially got together. Apparently, it was a Xiao Long tradition to give a gift to a new member of the family; yeah, in Tai’s eyes Jaune and Yang were already married. Then again, the mark on Jaune’s hand did pretty much make it impossible for them to not be connected, so there’s probably something to that. Yang twiddled her thumbs before looking up at him embarrassedly. “I, uh, haven’t quite figured out how to manifest bras yet. Panties are alright, but the clasps and straps confuse me on bras, so I haven’t been able to figure out what I need to do.” Jaune nodded. “I’m sorry.”
“Don’t be, Yang.” Jaune smiled at her before putting an arm around her shoulder. “I’m glad to spend time with you; always, no matter what form you’re in. Though, we do need to get you a proper saddle soon. I don’t think our makeshift one will last much longer.” Yang blushed at that. It wasn’t Yang’s fault that most saddles aren’t designed for dragons. “Now, let’s find Pyrrha and get her to apologize for calling you less than human.”
“I-It’s alright.” Yang whispered, but wilted under Jaune’s gaze. “I-I’m fine, Jaune. Really.”
“Yang, she hurt you. She made you think you weren’t a real girl. That’s unacceptable to me. You are my cherished, Yang. No one gets to hurt you, not while I’m around.” She smiled brilliantly at him while blushing. She got on the tips of her toes and kissed his cheek.
“Thank you, Master.” She whispered in his ear. “Thank you so much.” Her eyes had tears in them, so he lifted her chin up again and kissed her.
“Any time, Yang.” Jaune assured her as he ran a hand through her hair. “Now, to find Pyrrha.”
The gladiatrix was still punching the wall, though it was mostly dust by now. Jaune was lucky that the wall was just a barrier separating a courtyard from the alleyway, not a building’s wall. “J-Jaune?” Pyrrha asked as the two blondes got her attention. “Yang?”
“Pyrrha.” Jaune replied evenly. “You hurt Yang. You made her feel less than human.”
“Jaune! It was only for a few moments!” Yang protested. “Pyrrha, it’s really not that big of a deal.”
“N-No, Jaune’s right.” Pyrrha apologized, bowing deeply before them both. “I am so sorry that I let my frustration get the best of me and I said things to you that I didn’t mean.”
Jaune looked down at Yang who smiled kindly and exhaled. “It’s alright, Pyrrha. You’re forgiven.” Yang laced her fingers with his and squeezed his hand in thanks. “Now, why don’t the three of us enjoy the rest of our day here? And no more monopolizing my time, Yang.” His dragon looked abashed at that as Pyrrha smiled softly. “Pyrrha, I’m sorry for ignoring you when we were supposed to hang out today, but Yang could’ve been lost or stolen if I had lost track of her. Now that she’s in her true form, it should be fine.” Pyrrha’s smile softened a bit.
“O-Okay.” Pyrrha whispered, almost as an afterthought. “L-Let’s enjoy our time together.”
“It will be great.” Yang smiled at her, making Pyrrha’s smile widen a bit. At least things seemed to be on the up and up now, though Jaune was sure that life with Yang would get complicated once again. Well, no matter what, he’d be by her side. Arc’s word.
To be continued…
