Chapter Text
Lights flashed as Diana and Sigma walked into the restaurant. Alice and several other security officers followed behind and in-front of them.
“Alice got us pretty good security, huh,” Sigma remarked once they got in.
Diana smirked. “She pushes the limit sometimes,” She said with a giggle. “She did a good job alerting the press too. I think there’s at least half a dozen outside.”
“And probably more hiding in the bushes,” Sigma said, rubbing his neck as they followed their waiter up to the rooftop.
The dark wooden floors had glass fencing that was covered in string lights. There were potted plants next to each booth or table as well as little hangers for coats or purses. Their table was dead center, something that Diana wasn’t too pleased about. But she supposed it made it easier for the photographers.
“Would you two like anything to drink?” The waiter asked.
Diana surveyed the selection of alcohol they had but none of them particularly appealed to her. She wasn’t much of a drinker anyways. Her eyes flicked to Sigma. He raised a brow, as if he was searching for approval to order something for them. Diana nodded and Sigma turned his head to the waiter.
“We’ll have two Lady Gigi Dominique Perignon, please.”
The waiter nodded. “I’ll have those to you in a few moments.”
The two of them nodded and waited until he went down the stairs to speak again.
“I didn’t know Lady Gigi did a special wine with Dominique Perignon,” Diana said.
“Practically every celebrity has collaborated with a wine company,” He remarked. “Lady Gigi’s is a popular one. I’m surprised you haven’t heard about it.”
“I’m not into alcohol that much,” Diana admitted, looking over to view the city.
Diana couldn’t see his face, but she imagined he was giving her a raised brow. “Why did you let me order your wine then?”
Diana grinned, admiring the city below. The lights were bright but hazy from where they were and she could see the flowers and trees below with dark silhouettes. “A little drink once in a while can’t hurt,” She said. “Plus, I know that you’ll monitor me.”
Diana's eyes shifted from the city to Sigma’s face and she could see him smile. She smiled back.
The waiter came over with their drinks just a few seconds later with two champagne flutes filled almost to the top of the glass.
The two of them thanked the waiter, the boy then leaving back the way he came. Diana studied the liquid. It looked purple before shifting into a pink at the top. She could also see little bubbles rising from the bottom of the glass.
Sigma didn’t seem to wait after their waiter came over as when she looked up, she could see him taking rather large sips. Diana couldn’t help but giggle.
Sigma titled his head, which made Diana think of a dog. That made her giggle a little harder.
“Why are you giggling so hard?” He asked. “Is there something on my face?”
“It’s nothing! It’s just… you’re a cute guy,” Diana immediately turned red, earning a smirk from Sigma. “I mean that in a platonic way!”
“I didn’t take it romantically, unless you’re thinking of breaking rule 6.”
Diana huffed. “Never. I’m immune to the Klim charm.”
Sigma smiled again, a small but warm one. Diana reciprocated.
“Now, since I picked the drinks, it’s only fair you pick what we eat,” Sigma said, taking another sip of wine.
Diana raised a brow. “Do you want to get the same thing?”
Sigma shrugged. “Whatever you want. You could pick what I eat and get something different for yourself or we get the same thing. I’m down to eat anything,” He explained.
“Any allergies?”
“Nope.”
Diana scanned the menu. Nothing seemed to call her name or seemed like it screamed Sigma’s. Other than steak, but that was overdone for picturesque dates that the public would be obsessing over.
So she decided on a salad for herself and a truffle fillet for Sigma.
“Your order will be ready shortly.”
Diana and Sigma thanked him once again.
Sigma’s phone lit up with a message just as the waiter left. Diana looked at it, her head tilted, wondering who it was.
“Who is it?” She asked as Sigma opened his phone and looked at the message.
“Junpei. He just texted me with a thumbs up and a congrats,” He explained, with slight confusion.
Diana knotted her brows. “What’s it supposed to mean?”
Sigma shrugged. “Probably him approving something from an interview or a projection of numbers or something. He never really adds context.”
Diana shrugged, Sigma did the same.
After a few minutes, his phone lit up again with a photo of Phi. From Diana’s view, her face looked extremely elongated and her name was different. But there weren’t many white haired people that Diana assumed Sigma knew.
Diana flashed Sigma a questioning look, he shrugged in response before pressing the answer button.
“What’s up?”
“ I’m downstairs. ”
Both Diana and Sigma were very confused by that sentence. Did she mean downstairs in the apartment complex or downstairs in the restaurant?
“Where?” Sigma asked.
“ The restaurant. ”
“I thought you said you weren’t planning on coming?” Diana asked. “You said you needed to work on some assignments.”
Phi sighed. “ Yeah, but your bodyguard or whatever she is, said I had to come down. ”
“Alice?” Diana asked.
Phi hummed. “ Yeah. She said if I didn't come and help her out she would fire me, ” She explained before what sounded like her taking a drink using what sounded like a straw.
“Can she do that?” Sigma asked. “‘Cause I don’t think I would mind that,” He added with a playful grin. Diana could imagine Phi giving him a jab if she was with them.
“ Beats me, but I don’t wanna cross your girl’s bodyguard, ” Phi answered, Diana saw Sigma tense when Phi described Diana as his girl. She had to admit, it did sound weird. But she would have to get used to it. Both of them would.
“ Anyways, I also called to let you know pap photos are already making their way onto social media, ” Phi added.
Diana didn’t know if it had been some of the wine she was drinking or if it was knowing that photos were now online, but she shuddered.
It had all begun to become real. Her and Sigma, starting from the very moment they stepped into the restaurant, were now playing their parts of being together. Photos of them together would be posted everywhere and they would begin to become specimens under a microscope even more than they were already.
Diana was pulled out of her thoughts by Sigma, not by his voice but his laugh. Phi must’ve said something but he brought her back into the real world. The present.
“ The photos are nice. Feel free to look online if you’d like, I’m sure you’ll see some funny posts, ” Phi said with a chuckle. “ I’m going to hang up now. If you need anything I’m downstairs. ”
“Bye, Phi!” The duo said at the same time. Sigma sighed after Phi hung up, a hand running through his hair.
“You alright?” Diana asked, taking another sip from her wine. Somehow it was half full. She must’ve been taking long sips, but she didn’t really realize it.
Sigma nodded. “Yeah, I’m okay. It’s all just happening so fast,” He said, taking a sip from his barely touched wine. “Are you doing okay?”
Diana nodded, starting to feel the edges of the world become slightly warmer. She didn’t take a sip from her glass this time.
Sigma smiled at her before it morphed into something more mischievous. Diana thought it reminded her of the Cheshire Cat.
Diana smirked reading what his smile meant. “You want to see the posts, don’t you?” She said.
Sigma’s teeth started to show from how wide his smirk was getting bigger. Diana couldn’t help but let out a sound that was between a giggle and a sigh.
“Come on, aren’t you interested to see what the fans are saying?” He asked, leaning on the table.
Diana shrugged. “I guess.”
Sigma pulled out his phone, placing it in the middle so the two of them could see okay. Diana took a sip of her wine, a quarter of it was left. Or at least it looked like there was a quarter left.
She then realised that the world was slightly wobbly. Her face must’ve paled or reddened, as Sigma asked if she was okay.
“I’m fine,” she assured him, fixating on the phone in the centre. She went to take another sip of wine but as her fingers touched the glass it was moved over to Sigma’s side of the table.
Diana looked at him. “What did you do that for?” She asked.
“So you wouldn’t get drunk,” He simply said, opening up his phone. “You clearly don’t handle your alcohol well,” He noted. Diana gave him a slight frown, even if he was right. She rarely touched alcohol, Luna doesn’t want her to ruin her liver.
“Now, what app should we look at first?”
Diana considered the question. To-witter was her first instinct, after all she seemed to have the most unhinged fans on there and their to-weets were always a laugh, but also the sinking feeling that she could see her stalker on there made her want to not look at all. Instapic would be the safest option, she decided.
Diana and Sigma laughed as they scrolled through his feed, posts ranging from saying they looked cute to things she hoped would be burned out of her retinas at a point in time.
“Aww, the caption on this one is cute,” Diana remarked. It was a photo of them heading into the restaurant. The two of them were looking at each other, Diana’s head upwards and Sigma’s the opposite. The two of them were holding hands and warm smiles on their faces. When she looked at it she just saw a new friendship, but she wondered if people could read love in it.
Clearly they could if they already came up with a couple name for them.
“‘Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince’” Diana read, which made Sigma chuckle a little. Diana tilted her head at him in confusion.
“Phi called us that a few days ago when I told her about us,” Sigma explained, squinting at the username.
Diana smiled. “I like it. I think it fits.”
Sigma chuckled, a smile on his face. “I like it too.”
A warmth settled over Diana, it could’ve been because of his smile but she blamed it on the alcohol. She did almost drink a full cup. It seemed Sigma barely touched his cup. She tried to reach the glass while he was scrolling but he moved her hand away.
Diana stuck out her tongue. Sigma didn’t notice, he just continued scrolling
He let out a sigh. “It’s just a lot of the same now, do you wanna look at To-witter?”
Diana nodded, ignoring the little pang of dread that was ruining the warm feeling of the wine.
She found, as they scrolled mindlessly and laughed harder than Diana had in a while, that the posts were pretty much similar on To-witter if just slightly more unhinged. It was like they were running a cult on that app with their friends. One to-weet even mentioned that they would become religious if Diana was a god. Usual To-witter antics.
It made her feel even better to know that she couldn’t see her stalker so far. Maybe the algorithm wasn’t pushing him up or Sigma had blocked him, but either way it made her happy and she let herself fall slightly deeper into that warm haze of the wine in her bloodstream.
Eventually the waiter comes back with their food, Diana and Sigma still laughing from the previous tweet as the plates are set down.
Diana’s salad looked absolutely delicious, leafy greens and colourful fruits and veggies making a delicious picture, and Sigma looked elevated for a type of steak, the meat looked like it had been glazed over with something Diana hoped was sweet and the various decorations of mushrooms and vegetables on top.
“Would you like a refill on the wine?” The waiter asked.
At the same time, Diana said yes and Sigma said no. The waiter looked at the two of them before Sigma spoke up. “We’re good for now, thank you.”
The waiter gave a smile before heading back into the restaurant. Diana crunched her face at Sigma but he seemed to be unbothered.
Diana rolled her eyes in slight annoyance and dug into her salad. The piece her fork had grabbed was filled with flavour. Lettuce balanced out the spiciness of the red onion and the sweetness of the strawberry. It was delightful to her taste buds.
She looked at Sigma, who seemed to be enjoying his steak as he shoved big bites into his mouth. Diana couldn’t help but laugh at the sight, causing him to look at her with confusion.
“What’s so funny?” He asked, cutting another big piece with her fork and knife.
“It’s nothing! You were just shoving big slices into your mouth,” She explained. Sigma still looked at her with confusion before shrugging her off.
Diana smiled before taking her phone and snapping a few pictures of her food and sneaking a couple of Sigma. She had to admit that he was pretty photogenic, but it made sense, they were actors after all.
He didn’t seem to notice when she snapped pictures of him. It made Diana feel like the paparazzi or those sneaky photographers. She decided she had enough of that feeling and went back to eating her salad which was done in just a few minutes.
Sigma finished his up quite quickly as well, the two deciding they didn’t want dessert.
They went down the spiral staircase and back down to the main floor, Phi and Alice waiting there for them.
“You weren’t actually planning on firing Phi, were you?” Diana asked while Sigma and Phi paid the bill.
Alice shook her head. “No, but I was going to berate her. It’d be similar enough.”
Diana giggled. “Are there any new updates?” She asked. She didn’t specify what, but Alice knew what she meant.
Alice hesitated before speaking. “Nothing yet,” She said, but Diana knew she was lying. She only ever hesitated when she wasn’t sure what to say. She always knew what she wanted to say.
Diana brushed it off. She would just look later, neither Alice or Sigma could keep her away from looking when it was something that she was concerned about.
“You two ready to go?” Sigma asked as he and Phi walked over.
Diana nodded. Sigma smiled and started walking, grabbing onto Diana’s hand as they approached the door. Phi and Alice were in-front and behind them respectively.
The cameras flashed as they walked over to their car. When they were about half way, Sigma tilted his head downward to Diana, his lips hovering over her ear.
“Is it okay if I wrap my arm around your waist?” He asked. Diana nodded, wondering if the air around her was suddenly warm or if it was her coat. It was cold after all.
Sigma wrapped his arm around her and pulled her close, the hand that was previously holding hers now resting on the side of her hip.
Just a few seconds later they reached the door, two bodyguards came to open the door for them. Sigma kept his arm around Diana as they entered the backseat, before letting go after the door closed.
Sigma looked at Diana and smiled. She smiled back.
“Ugh, you two are totally too good at playing lovebirds.”
Diana jumped at the sound of Phi’s voice, not realising she entered the car.
Sigma looked at Phi. “I thought you drove here?” He asked.
Phi nodded. “I did but one of the bodyguards Alice brought took the car back to the apartment.”
“You wouldn’t want to be tailed back to your apartment, would you?” Alice asked from the front. Diana also figured out that she was driving the car as well.
She couldn’t help but smile at the scene. Sigma and Phi started talking about something or other, she wasn’t really paying attention, and Alice started to hum along to whatever song was on the radio.
It was nice. Tonight was nice. And when she looked at the account later, she promised herself she wouldn’t let it ruin her night.
When Diana said night to Sigma and was left alone in his room, she firstly posted a photo of her salad from earlier. With her publicist permission of course. She didn’t make the caption anything special, just something about how good the salad was.
Then she went on her snooping To-witter account and entered in the username of the stalker. She didn’t really pay attention to anything but the tweets. If she did, she would probably spiral.
The first tweet she saw was exactly what she was looking for. It was re-towitted from a post that had a photo of her laughing at Sigma.
From the caption, she could tell he was agitated. Exactly what she wanted. Or she believed she wanted. The whole plan was to snap the stalker out of their delusions. So maybe the more agitated they get the more they’ll realise that she isn’t their girlfriend. She relied on that outcome more than she relied on the powers above.
She turned off her phone after that. She shot off a good night text to Luna and then turned off Sigma’s lamp and nestled against his sheets, letting the softness of them and the smell of his woody room lure herself into sleep.
Sigma decided to tell Akane and Aoi about him and Diana after work the evening after their ‘date’. He sent a text to the family group chat in the afternoon, Aoi and Akane had another charity event or something that morning. Or he assumed they did as he didn’t see them in the morning.
[Mr Monocle] Family meeting sometime in the evening!
[Greek alphabet] cool
[Santa Claus] Okay
[Rabbit (づ˶> ᵕ < ︎˶)づ 💖] yay! I miss you guys :,’(
[greek alphabet] You literally live with all of us except one
[bunny] miss you too ‘Kane
Sigma couldn’t help but chuckle at that when he saw it in the makeup chair. Unlike the last couple days, he was one of the first here. Ace was the only other person in the room, other than makeup and hair.
He didn’t really mind it. Ace didn’t seem to care much about Sigma’s dating life or anything. It was a nice change of pace compared to the rest of the cast, mainly Mira, prying into his life.
His senior was talking about something, Sigma really didn’t know. It reminded him of Akane’s tangents about metaphysics or weird theories about the Titanic. He added hums and signs that he was somewhat attentive. But mostly, he was thinking about last night.
The ‘date’ went well, according to the posts he saw. He agreed. He liked hanging out with Diana one on one. They’d been doing that already, but it felt more comfortable this time. In just a week Diana had nestled herself into Sigma’s list of people he enjoyed. There was something about her that made Sigma feel like he was home. Maybe it was the fact that Luna made him feel the same way, or maybe it was something else. Either way, he liked Diana.
Plus, she was cute.
But Sigma’s thoughts about her were quickly broken as a voice took him out of his mind.
“Sigma Klim Jr., you have something to confess?” Mira’s voice asked as she sat herself next to Sigma. She leaned toward him, almost perched. A shoulder rested on top of the arm of the chair and her other was supporting the hand that her head rested on top. She stared at Sigma with an almost predatory gaze.
It scared him slightly, but when did Mira not scare him?
He gulped. “I don’t know what you’re talking about, Mira,” He said with as much calmness as he could muster. Even if Mira and the rest of the cast were going to see the photos and connect the dots, he didn't want to be borderline interrogated. He was close to that several times in university; he didn't want that now.
Mira scoffed. “Of course you do, loverboy ,” She said, almost taunting with her nickname. “I’ve seen the pictures. You two looked lovely.”
Sigma smiled at that. Looking back at the photos, they really did look nice. Of course Diana always did, but he had to admit that Phi styled him quite well. And a compliment from Mira was rare. If it was a Boy Scout badge, he’d be wearing it with pride.
Sigma took a sip of water from his table as Ace looked at Mira with confusion. “Why did you call him ‘loverboy’?”
“Oh, Sigma has a girlfriend.”
He couldn’t help but choke on his water once Mira said that.
Once Mira said that, it was a chain reaction. Ace congratulated him, then once Elle came in Ace told her. Then Elle told the next person and the person told the next person, and then the next next person…
It was quite exhausting, he just rolled with it until his head wanted to explode.
He answered every question under the sun by the end of just them all getting ready. He was so tired by the time they were heading to start filming, but he had to be as energised as possible.
“Hey, Sigma,” Elle said, veering away from the group ahead of them and to Sigma’s side.
“What’s up?”
Elle smiled. “I just wanted to tell you that I’m happy for you.”
Sigma scoffed before softening into a smile. “Thanks, Elle.”
“No problem. You and Diana look happy together from what I saw of the photos,” She said, making Sigma smile harder. He was glad the plan was working. “You deserve it.”
“You deserve it too, okay? When Mr. Right comes along, expect me to tease you as much as you tease me,” Elle laughed at Sigma’s comment.
“Wouldn’t have it any other way.”
Elle jabbed Sigma before the two smirked at each other and went off to film whatever was in store for the day.
When Sigma dropped Diana off earlier that day, heads were already turning.
She couldn’t even count on her hands how many times people today congratulated her or asked if it was true. Of course she had to say yes to the former. After all, she had to fool the public into thinking it was real.
She didn’t have to face many people so far from the cast asking. They were only working on smaller scenes before finally doing the musical numbers the next day.
“And cut!” The director said. “We’ll do a couple more takes on this scene after lunch!”
Diana took a drink of water as she made her way, blonde wig and all, over to her trailer. Soon enough, her co-star Atlantis Fearii was in tow.
“What’s up?” Diana asked her.
“Oh, nothing! I just wanted to eat lunch with you, is that okay?” She asked.
Diana smiled. She had grown close to Atlantis ever since they started rehearsing. She could never refuse her. “Of course! Ready for one last lunch together?”
Atlantis smiled, nice and bright and beaming. “Always. Let’s go party.”
Diana couldn’t help but laugh from the joke. They continued to talk and laugh as they approached her trailer. She was always happy in Atlantis’ presence. It was a nice calm compared to the man she shared scenes with.
Diana had narrowly avoided him since she arrived that day. But it was soon broken as she and Atlantis just reached her trailer.
“Diana!” He exclaimed as he approached the duo. Diana sighed and Atlantis rolled her eyes.
“What’s up, Dio?” Diana asked, even though she had a hint as to what he was going to say. He’d been bothering her about Sigma ever since Luna mentioned him. At least the photos would hopefully get him to stop asking about him.
“Nothing really. I just wanted to congratulate you about your relationship,” He said, tipping his head as if his top hat was on his head. Diana really didn’t like his top hat. She wouldn’t say that to his face though, he got mad at the last person who did that.
“Thank you, Dio. I’m happy-“
“You know I had a feeling since you stepped onto set after that photo of Sigma leaving was papped. I didn’t want to be annoying about it but I thought I’d leave hints since,”
The rest of whatever Dio was saying numbed Diana’s brain. She just had to act like she was enjoying the conversation. She probably would’ve been if she actually was able to talk about Sigma, but Dio just kept talking and talking and talking . If she wasn’t good at concealing her anger then she’d most likely tell Dio off.
“Sorry to cut you off Dio, but me and Diana have to run some lines before filming,” Atlantis said, swooping Dio right off of his centre stage spotlight. She grabbed Diana’s wrist and dragged her into the trailer. Diana gave a little wave and smile before it was slammed in his face.
Atlantis placed herself in one of the bean bag chairs. In fact it was the same one that Sigma had been in when they brainstormed their backstory.
Diana missed him, but she would see him soon. She also didn’t want to dwell on that thought anymore than needed.
Atlantis groaned, tossing her head back. “Ugh, Dio talking about your relationship like that was so gross.”
Diana nodded, situating herself on a beanbag across from her friend. “Yeah, but that’s just Dio.”
“I know but it doesn’t make it excusable,” She said before taking a bite of her sandwich. “It makes you an asshole.”
Diana agreed with a hum as she went to her mini fridge and rifled through what was there. There wasn’t much, just a roll that Clover dropped off the other day from a certain someone, a few sodas and a day old tea. She took out the roll and a soda, returning to her chair.
“You don’t normally have soda,” Atlantis stated.
“Well I am today.”
Atlantis scrunched her face at Diana. She took a sip, doing her best to enjoy the fizz on her tongue. She could tolerate the fizz from the champagne from last night, but soda was worse.
“Who got you the soda?” Her friend asked, leaning forward.
“My sister’s friend,” She remarked. She probably could’ve just said her friend, but she needed to be accurate to their cover story. Plus, it’s still a true statement.
“And your boyfriend,” She added with a giggle. Diana couldn’t help but chuckle. “So! Tell me all about you dating Sigma freaking Kilm!”
Diana breathed internally, going over their story that they came up with. “A few years ago we did an Ecom together, just a quick cameo, and that’s where we first met. Then a few months ago Luna brought me to one of the Kurashikis parties and we exchanged numbers,” She explained. The words came out slightly shaky. Hopefully as she lied to more people it would sound more natural.
At least Atlantis seemed to be buying it.
“That’s so cute! Your sister is friends with Sigma right? She was your wingman!”
Diana couldn’t help but giggle. “I guess so!”
The rest of lunch was spent with Atlantis talking about her husband. Diana had met him on a couple occasions. He was a nice guy and hearing about how much he and her friend loved each other was comforting. She always loved hearing people talk. Sometimes she thinks in another universe if she didn’t choose acting, she would be a pretty good nurse.
Playing one on the screen was good enough though.
Soon the PA came in and the two of them filmed several takes of the last scene they had. Diana couldn’t help but tear up at the end, especially when Atlantis was giving her wrap speech.
“This film has single handedly been my favourite thing to film,” She started, tears starting to well in her eyes. “The crew has been so amazing and sweet and our fabulous director has taught me more than my decade long career has ever taught me. Thank you all for this experience.”
The entire set of cast and crew explored into claps and hugs. Diana gave Atlantis a hug, both of them crying and surely getting their costumes wet. The costume designer would get them to pay for dry cleaning.
That was a future Diana problem.
To say that Sigma was nervous would be an understatement.
He had never outright lied to the siblings or Junpei. Maybe omit things like when they would ask where he was the night before or what he was rehearsing for, but never a full mislead.
But it was for his friend. And it wouldn’t be for too much longer.
Sigma took in deep breaths as he paced the living room.
Phi rolled her eyes with a sigh from the couch while Diana read a book in the dining room.
“You could stop pacing, that’d be really nice,” Phi remarked as she typed away on her keyboard.
“Shut up, Phi.”
“Sigma, Phi’s right. You gotta calm down,” Diana told him. “Just tell them in a few minutes, rip that bandaid off.”
He sighed, finally stopping his pacing. They were right. Phi was always right, even if he wouldn’t admit it out loud. And he was quickly realising that Diana was right all the time too.
So he took a deep breath and went over to the dining table and stood on it. Phi glared at him as she adjusted herself to face him. “Is that really necessary?”
Sigma shrugged in response. He looked down at Diana who gave him a nod.
“Family meeting in the dining room!” He yelled and in seconds Akane and Aoi joined the trio with Junpei in tow.
Sigma rubbed his hands together. “Okay, Everybody I-” He squinted at one of Akane’s ears and noticed a silver looking thing in her ear. “Akane, do you have an earpiece in?” He asked.
She nodded. “Yeah, but I’ll just mute them,” She clicked the earpiece twice and gave him a thumbs up.
“Okay so like I was saying, I have something to say.”
He took a breath in and then spoke.
“Me and Diana are dating.”
And with that one sentence all hell broke loose, even if it was just Akane. She squealed, running to Sigma and picking him up with a spin as she set him back on the floor. “Oh my god! I knew it!” She exclaimed, grasping his shoulders.
“What do you mean you knew it?” He asked.
Akane rolled her eyes. “You weren’t doing that good of a job at hiding it you know. I figured it out once you asked me that one night if I was doing anything,” Sigma couldn’t help but laugh.
Akane parted from him and went over to Diana, giving her what looked like a deathly tight hug.
“Congrats, Sigma,” Aoi’s voice said as he sneaked next to him. Junpei came to his other side, nudging him.
He smiled. “Thanks guys.”
“You know I don’t really know why you needed to tell us like this,” Junpei said. “I mean the paparazzi photos came out.”
Sigma finally understood Junpei’s ‘congrats’ message from last night.
“So that’s why you texted that last night.”
Aoi chuckled. “Fitting that Junpei found out before me.”
“I’m busting out the wine!” Akane yelled.
Sigma glazed over to Diana, who gave him a smile that he knew meant that no alcohol was going to be consumed by her.
And so all six of them spent the rest of the evening drinking while Akane, Aoi and Phi graced Diana with all their stories about him and all the adventures they went on. They told Diana about sneaking Luna into prom with him (something Aoi nor Diana didn’t know about), when Aoi turned 21, the Kurashikis first movie premier. It was nice. If every night would be like this then he didn’t really mind.
None of them went to sleep until late, with all of them drinking a glass of wine each except for Diana, they knew they would regret it.
But in the end it didn’t really matter. All of it was worth it to him, even his hangover in the morning.
Diana and Sigma were the only ones in the dining room by the early hours of the morning. Akane tended to get sleepy from alcohol and Aoi had enough for the night. Phi had school in the morning and Junpei had to get home.
“Sigma, I’m going to head to bed,” She said, rising up from her seat with a stretch. “But I want to thank you for doing all this.”
He flicked his wrist. “It’s not a problem. Anything for a friend.”
She smiled heading to the hallway before stopping.
“Goodnight, Sigma.”
“Night, Diana.”
He heard his bedroom door close, and a few minutes later a ding sounded from his phone.

@Diana has been added to KKB+T
He let out a quiet chuckle. Diana, whether she liked it or not, was a part of the Kurashiki-Klim-Beta household.
And he hoped she still would be after this deal.
