Chapter Text
“Baby, did you enjoy your time with Uncle Gojo?”
Toji simply nodded, holding (Y/N)’s hand as he happily walked back to their shared dorm.
“Sorry I didn’t tell you you were gonna stay with him,” (Y/N) apologized, giving Toji’s hand a light squeeze of reassurance.
“‘s okay,” Toji replied, sticking his thumb in his mouth afterwards. He had packed up his pacifier in his bag, something he regretted doing now. He really liked his pacifier, especially since his Daddy gave it to him.
“Listen, Toji, I need to have a conversation with big Toji whenever you’re ready, mkay?” (Y/N)’s voice broke Toji out of his trance. Toji took a second to reply, processing what had just been said to him.
“Okay!”
——
The two arrived at their shared dorm, Toji dissociating along the way. He was slowly leaving little space and entering his fully grown headspace. They both walk into the dorm, (Y/N) shutting and locking the door behind them, and take off their shoes. (Y/N) beckoned Toji to follow him, which he obediently did. Maybe it was bath time? (Y/N) didn’t need a bath, but Toji sure did.
(Y/N) ran him a warm bath, bath scents and duckies included. He stripped Toji of his clothes, including the diaper, and carefully brought him into the bathtub. He gingerly turned on the shower head and began to wet Toji’s hair with it. Toji stared distantly while this was happening, coming back to his usual headspace. He realized he was still sucking his thumb and took it out of his mouth in disgust.
“Fuck this,” he mumbled, washing off his hand in the soapy bath water. (Y/N) turned the shower head off and reached over to grab the shower gel.
“You good there, bubs? Not feeling little anymore?” (Y/N) asked cautiously. He hadn’t had the chance to talk to big Toji yet, especially after having officially regressed for the first time.
“I’m never doing that shit again.”
“You need to learn to let go, my love. It’s okay to be little,” (Y/N) reassured him. It genuinely stressed him out to see Toji this way.
“You don’t even know what it’s like,” Toji retaliated. He was so frustrated and tired of people telling him it was okay when they hadn’t even experienced what he had gone through.
“You’re right, I don’t. But I care about you, and it hurts me to see you in this constant state of neglect and denial.” (Y/N) spoke genuinely; his little was neglecting himself and refused any help thrown his way.
“Just…stop.” If Toji didn’t have enough pride not to, he would cry right now. (Y/N) dropped the subject immediately, picking up on social cues and leaving Toji alone. He merely sighed and continued to rinse Toji’s hair. He kept a neutral face despite being stressed about Toji’s situation.
Toji couldn’t believe how quickly (Y/N) dropped the subject, and honestly felt bad. The tense silence between them continued all the way until the end of the bath, when (Y/N) had gotten up to give Toji a towel. He unplugged the tub and helped Toji dry himself off while the water drained. Whilst (Y/N) went looking for some clothes, Toji had the chance to think. Maybe he shouldn’t be so hard on himself after all? He did feel incredibly relieved after having regressed for that long, but he also didn’t want to be seen as a vulnerable little shit who only pissed his pants and cried for his daddy.
Before he could go down a spiral, (Y/N) walked back in with some clothes. Toji opened his mouth to speak, but quickly shut it as he didn’t even know what to say. He didn’t know where to begin; he had so many thoughts racing through his head.
“Look, I’m sorry,” Toji began. He wasn’t quite sure if he should keep going, afraid he’d make a fool of himself if he did. Luckily, (Y/N) came to the rescue and spoke before Toji messed things up.
“It’s okay. I pushed your boundaries, which I shouldn’t have done. I should be the one apologizing,” (Y/N) reassured him, probably for the tenth time today. He waited for Toji to continue, looking at him expectedly.
“I’m willing to give this a try.” This statement, spoken by Toji, took (Y/N) by surprise. Just two days ago, Toji was fighting him and blabbering about how he’d never get to such a “low” point in his life. Yet here he was, saying he’d give regression a try. He seriously had to swallow all his pride to be able to make such a decision.
“Yeah? Alright then,” (Y/N) stopped to give him a kiss on the lips before continuing, “Let’s go to bed, bubs. You’ve had a long day.”
Toji got dressed and followen (Y/N) into the bedroom. They cuddled up into bed, (Y/N) turning on his usual ASMR to help him sleep. Toji rested his head on (Y/N)’s chest, feeling his heartbeat against his ear. He slung his arm over (Y/N), hugging him impossibly closer. (Y/N) chuckled and gave him a kiss on the crown of his head, bringing a hand up to stroke his fingers through Toji’s hair.
There was a comfortable silence before (Y/N) spoke, “By the way, little Toji is very prone to accidents, so I ordered some diapers online. Is that okay?”
“…yeah. That’s fine,” Toji mumbled. He spoke so low he didn’t think (Y/N) heard him, but luckily he did. He was embarrassed that he had to wear diapers. However, he was grateful, more than he’d like to admit, that (Y/N) had asked if it was okay. He didn’t belittle him, and Toji was so happy he was assigned to someone so indifferent and caring. It was as if he genuinely didn’t mind(which he kept insisting he didn’t, but Toji refused to believe him).
“What’s keeping you up, baby?”
“Nothing,” Toji spoke softly, almost as if he was scared he’d wake someone up even though they were the only two in that dorm and they were both awake.
“Liar. But if you don’t want to tell me that’s okay too,” (Y/N) matched his tone of voice, keeping his words soft and low. It brought a sense of fuzziness and warmth to Toji’s head, one which he attributed to feeling like regressing.
“…why are you so nice?” Toji had to stop before he spoke, scared he’d fumble over his words.
“I mean, I just like to see the best in people and put myself in their shoes. Yknow, we had this same exact conversation yesterday morning,” he had pointed out the repetitive conversation, but not in a way that felt belittling to Toji. Just in a joking manner.
“Yeah, I’m aware. I’ve done terrible things. Aren’t you scared I might do something to you?” Toji asked cautiously. He was scared, frightened even, that (Y/N) might be faking it all and was planning to leave him once Toji had grown comfortable.
“No. You were just doing what was necessary to make ends meet. Plus, you don’t even remember any of it. This is your chance at a fresh start. You only know what’s in your file, not what you actually did,” (Y/N) was extremely cautious with his word choice, trying his very hardest to not offend or tick off Toji in any way. Not that it was offending Toji at all, but it was always better to be safe than sorry.
“I mean, I guess…” Toji remained silent after that. staring off into the distance. (Y/N) sighed deeply, hugging Toji close and stroking his hair.
“I trust you, yknow that? And I wish you would do the same with me,” this struck a chord within Toji. nobody had really put full trust in him, so this was a first. It caught him off guard, but he welcomed it.
Toji remained silent, the only noise coming from him being his breathing. He looked up briefly when he heard soft snores, realizing you had fallen asleep. Closing his eyes and praying to not have an accident, he decided it was his time to sleep as well.
