At dawn, Judy and Nick woke up at the top of the tree where they had spent the night. Exhausted and hungry after the events of the previous days, they decided to search for something to eat. Nick, looking around, sighed.
"If I have to eat one more bug, I swear I'll turn vegetarian," he said, grabbing a piece of fruit.
Judy looked at him with a tired smile. "Don't talk to me about bugs. I don't think I'll ever get over that breakfast."
As they walked through the trees, a soft melody began to fill the air. A whispering voice sang:
"Trust in me..."
Judy and Nick stopped in their tracks. "What's that?" Judy asked, but before they could react, Kaa appeared among the branches, his eyes glowing with hypnotic spirals.
"My friends... what a pleasant surprise to see you again," Kaa said as his tail slithered toward them. "Relax... trust in me..."
Both began to fall under the trance. "Nick... don't look into his eyes..." Judy murmured before her own gaze was caught in the spirals.
Kaa grinned as he coiled them in his tail and lifted them into a tree. "You two have been enough trouble. It's time for this jungle to be free of nuisances."
However, as he prepared to devour them, Shere Khan appeared from the shadows.
"Kaa," the tiger said, approaching slowly, "I've been looking for those two intruders from Zootopia. You haven’t seen them, have you?"
The snake, nervous, tried to play it cool. "Oh, Shere Khan, I haven’t seen anyone around here. Just enjoying a modest breakfast," he said, pointing to an empty branch.
The tiger narrowed his eyes, suspicious, but finally walked away. "I hope you're not lying to me, Kaa. You know what happens to those who deceive me."
Kaa sighed in relief, but at that moment, Nick and Judy began to wake from the trance. "Judy, move!" Nick shouted as they struggled to free themselves from the snake's grasp.
The noise caught Shere Khan's attention, who returned, enraged. "You lied to me, you pathetic snake!" he roared, pouncing on Kaa.
Nick and Judy took advantage of the chaos to escape, but the tiger saw them and gave chase. "You won't leave my jungle alive!"
They ran desperately until they found themselves cornered against a rocky wall.
"Well, Carrots, it's been a pleasure working with you," Nick said, panting.
"Don't talk like that, Nick! There's got to be a way out!" Judy replied.
Suddenly, Mowgli, Baloo, and Bagheera appeared.
"Leave them alone, Shere Khan!" Mowgli shouted as Baloo and Bagheera prepared to fight.
Before the battle could begin, a flash of light appeared nearby. A bright portal opened, revealing the familiar streets of Zootopia on the other side.
"Look, Judy!" Nick exclaimed.
But before they could move, Mickey Mouse appeared, wearing his iconic sorcerer’s hat. Waving his hands, he froze Shere Khan in place.
"There you are!" Mickey said with a smile. "I've been looking for you everywhere."
"Mickey Mouse?" Judy said, surprised. "What are you doing here?"
"It's time for you to return to Zootopia," Mickey explained. "We need you for Zootopia 2. It's going to be incredible!"
Judy jumped with excitement. "Really?! This is a dream come true!"
Nick, less enthusiastic, raised an eyebrow. "And what kind of trouble awaits us in this sequel?"
Mickey smiled. "You'll face a new and dangerous criminal: Gary the snake."
Nick and Judy exchanged worried looks. "Another snake?" Judy said, horrified.
"I just hope this time there’s no hypnosis involved," Nick commented sarcastically.
Later, during the filming of Zootopia 2...
Nick and Judy were on set, ready for a scene with Gary, the new snake villain. Gary smiled maliciously.
"Thanks to Kaa, I learned a few new tricks," he said before hypnotizing them with his glowing eyes.
As they fell under the trance, Nick sighed. "I knew it... I shouldn’t have said anything."
