Chapter Text
You met Bucky a long time ago. You remember it as if it was yesterday. He… you can say he was a gift.
You liked to call yourself a tour guide. You weren’t really “good” at giving tours but you didn’t really have anyone to guide. So you spent more of your time just laying about on the beach, sleeping your days away under the umbrellas blocking the heat of the sun. Sometimes you spent time in the water, swimming in the iridescent blue sea. You… weren’t that good at swimming. But still you enjoyed your time there, relaxing…
…
At some points you felt. Useless. The island would be destroyed in a few days and… what would you spend your last days doing? Playing in water? Sunbathing? Ugh. You get up off the shaded sand you’ve been thinking on to leave before hearing someone try to get your attention.
“Oh hello little wolf! I’m a bit… a bit lost, haha…! Do you know where my friends are?” said the beaver, just slightly larger than you. You felt a bit embarrassed to hear that short comment from them but you shrug it off and introduce yourself.
“Oh your name’s very nice! You don’t need to feel bad about it so much… Oh! I forgot! My name’s Bucky Beaver!”
…
Y ou led Bucky towards one of his friends, the frankly rude goose who was working at the kitchens. You left them to talk as you walked towards the stands in the theater to take a well meaning break.
You waited for the beaver to finish his tasks before entering the cove the goose was nestled in. But…
No one was there.
The door behind where Giovanni stood was open.
