Chapter 3: Taehyung:Hoseok
There are two types of people: The cheerful, people-oriented extroverts and “I-don’t-hate-people-but-my-energy-drains-when-I-interact-with-them-in-long-hours” introverts. Taehyung, the second to the youngest member of the well-known BTS, falls in the former. Everybody knows that Tae has his own world, moves based on what he feels, and smiles the brightest. He likes to socialize, makes friends, and takes care of kids; Yes, Kim Taehyung loves kids. People who are close to Tae think that he will be a great father in the future. Everybody hopes he finds the right woman, too.
Of course, extrovert often attracts another extrovert. During the early years of BTS, Tae shows closeness with his fellow member, Hoseok. Hoseok, like Tae, is an extrovert. He is the moodmaker, the cheerful flower, the sun, the push that they need when they are lazy to practice their dance. Since they have the energy, Hoseok and Taehyung find enjoying each other’s company (with Jimin or Jungkook or both).
But one day, “Hyung never forgive me, did he?”. Tae asked Jungkook while they are sitting in the lobby area of the hard-earned studio of Bighit. Jungkook, the youngest as he is, does not fully understand the question. Sighs, “Hyung is still cold. He talks to me but the coldness is still there. I think he did not really forgive me, or he forgives me but he did not forget it.” Jungkook, trying to decipher what is happening, frowns at the older lad. Concentrating on remembering the moments that cause his Hyung’s distress, Jungkook asked, “What brought this up, Hyung?” Tae does not reply. He just laments about the day that causes Hoseok’s distant attitude to him now.
Minutes pass and silence envelops the whole lobby area. “Do you want to go out? Let’s eat outside. The members are out so maybe we can too.” Tae flashes a smile to Jungkook, who, without further ado, stands up from his seat, taps his hyungs lap, and goes outside of the studio. “Hyung, I want lamb skewer.”
