Chapter Text
The morning rose beautifully, the birds were chirping, and a gentle breeze carried the scent of fresh dee. Pond woke up with a bright smile, stretching lazily as sunlight spilled across his room, feeling unusually lighthearted and ready for the day. As he brushed his teeth, he couldn’t help but grin, thinking about Phuwin , his boyfriend now, the thought making his chest warm. He also remembered the message he had sent last night before falling asleep: ‘Baby, I’m back home. Left cause no one knew I was there. See you soon. Happy birthday again.’
After getting dressed, he checked his phone. Phuwin’s reply made him laugh: “You will make up with kisses for leaving without telling” Pond shook his head with a smile. How was I supposed to tell him when he was sleeping? he thought, knowing perfectly well this was just another excuse from Phuwin to get more kisses.
Feeling light and cheerful, he walked into the living room and greeted his mom and brother who were sitting on the couch, absorbed in the TV, glancing up briefly as he waved a good morning with a grin.
Finally, he decided it was time to go out. Pond planned to buy a cake for Phuwin, something special to take with him to the party other than the gift he had bought. He was sure that right now all of Phuwin’s friends , Dunk, Fourth, and Satang were busy preparing for Phuwin’s birthday, and he wanted to be part of the celebration in his own thoughtful way.

Pond reached a bakery not too far from their houses. The lemon cake from this place was Phuwin’s favorite, so without hesitation, he picked one up, carefully inspecting it before paying. Holding the cake securely, he stepped outside, ready to head back home.
As he was leaving, a voice rang across the road, loud and playful: “PONDDDD, HEY HEY HERE .. JOIN US!”
Startled, Pond looked in the direction of the shout, then sighed in relief when he saw who it was , Fourth, waving energetically. Behind him, Dunk and Satang were grinning, clearly enjoying themselves. See, he knew they must be somewhere in the market preparing, Pond thought, smiling.
He crossed the road and approached the shop where they were standing. “Hey! Didn’t expect to see you here,” Fourth called out, giving him a playful nudge.
“Morning, guys!” Pond replied, smiling warmly. Dunk and Satang nodded and waved, their smiles friendly and teasing. Even though Pond was older and their senior at school, all three had become close friends with him because of Phuwin. Their bond had grown naturally through their shared care for Phuwin, and Pond felt surprisingly at ease around them.
Satang’s eyes gleamed with mischief as he leaned closer, grinning. “Heyyy, Pond!” he said, wagging a finger at Pond. “Since it’s Phuwin’s birthday… you should pay for everything we bought for the party! He always says he loves you more than us”
Pond raised an eyebrow. Satang’s grin widened. “Yeah! All the decorations, snacks, drinks… the works. Honestly, we’re practically going broke here.”
Fourth immediately joined in, dramatically sighing. “We’ve been sacrificing our wallets for Phuwin’s happiness.”
“And look at us,” Dunk added, clutching his chest in fake despair. “Three poor souls in the market while you stroll in here looking rich.”
Before Pond could say anything, the three of them surrounded him playfully, cornering him near the counter like they were trapping prey.
Pond laughed softly, shaking his head, and lifted his hands in mock surrender. “I don’t mind,” he said casually, smiling. “Because it’s for my boyfriend.”
Instantly, all three froze.
Satang’s jaw dropped. “Wait… boyfriend?!”
Fourth nearly choked. “Hold on , what?! Since when?!”
Dunk blinked rapidly, staring at Pond. “You mean… you and Phuwin… like actually together?”
Satang grabbed Fourth’s arm dramatically. “Did we miss a whole season of this show or something?!”
Pond felt a warm blush spreading across his cheeks. He was a little surprised Phuwin hadn’t told them yet , but then it clicked in his head. It hasn’t even been 24 hours.
That realization made him smile softly.
Meanwhile Satang was already pushing the basket toward him. “Okay okay, boyfriend privileges activated. Go pay.”
Fourth nodded enthusiastically. “Yeah, don’t think you’re escaping now.”
Dunk added with a grin, “You literally volunteered.”
Pond laughed again, walked to the counter, and paid for everything they had bought , decorations, snacks, drinks, party hats, and even the ridiculous birthday banner Satang insisted on.
Once the payment was done, he picked up the cake again and turned back to them.
“I should get going now,” he said with a small smile. “I’ll see you guys later at Phuwin’s place.”
The three were still staring at him with wide, scandalized expressions.
Satang pointed at him dramatically. “We are not done with this conversation!”
Fourth shook his head, grinning. “Yeah, we need the full story.”
Dunk laughed. “Phuwin is never hearing the end of this.”
Pond only chuckled, waved at them, and walked away , cheeks still slightly pink, heart warm at the thought of seeing Phuwin again soon.

As the night slowly fell, the warm glow of lights began to spill from Phuwin’s house. The once quiet place was now buzzing with energy , music playing softly in the background, laughter echoing through the rooms, and colorful decorations hanging everywhere. Balloons were tied to chairs, streamers stretched across the walls, and the birthday banner Satang insisted on buying hung slightly crooked above the living room.
Phuwin’s parents were out of town for work, which meant the house was completely theirs for the night. It was the perfect opportunity for the small celebration his friends had planned , no strict supervision, no one telling them to keep the noise down, just them turning the house into a chaotic birthday headquarters.
Fourth, Dunk, and Satang had been running around the whole place , putting the final touches on everything. Snacks were spread across the table, drinks were lined up neatly, and the gifts were stacked carefully near the couch.
“Okay, everything looks perfect,” Fourth said, stepping back to admire their work.
Satang crossed his arms proudly. “Obviously. With my planning skills, how could it not?”
Dunk snorted. “Your planning skills? Please. Half the decorations are upside down.”
Before Satang could argue back, the doorbell rang.
The three immediately looked at each other.
Satang’s eyes lit up mischievously. “I bet that’s him.”
Fourth grinned. “Phuwin’s boyfriend.”
Dunk covered his mouth, trying not to laugh. “Wait till Phuwin finds out we know.”
Satang rushed toward the door like he was about to witness the greatest drama of his life. And standing outside, holding the lemon cake carefully in his hands, was Pond. They greeted one another and right after the sound of a door opening echoed from the hallway.
Phuwin stepped out of his room, adjusting the sleeve of his shirt slightly as he looked toward the living room. “Are you guys done?” he asked, curiosity clear in his voice. He had been locked in the room by his friends so they can prepare.
“Yeah!” Fourth answered immediately.
“All done,” Dunk added.
“Obviously,” Satang said dramatically, gesturing toward the decorations like they had just completed a masterpiece.
Phuwin nodded and walked further into the living room , but then his eyes landed on someone standing near the table.
Pond.
The moment he saw him, Phuwin’s expression changed instantly. His eyes lit up and a soft smile spread across his face without him even realizing it.
Pond smiled back just as warmly.
For a second, the room felt strangely quiet.
Phuwin walked toward him almost automatically, like the rest of the room had faded into the background. Pond stayed where he was, his smile soft and fond as Phuwin approached.
They stopped only a step away from each other.
Pond tilted his head slightly. “Hey , Phu..” he said gently.
Before Phuwin could answer ,
Satang’s voice suddenly cut through the moment.
“Are you guys not gonna kiss?”
The room went silent for a split second.
Phuwin’s head snapped toward Satang, his eyes going wide in pure shock. “W-What?!” he blurted out, his face instantly heating up.
Fourth immediately burst into laughter.
Dunk leaned against the table, trying not to choke on his own laugh.
Satang just stood there with his arms crossed, looking far too satisfied with himself.
Meanwhile, Pond simply chuckled quietly beside Phuwin, clearly amused by the chaos unfolding.
Phuwin looked between all three of them, completely confused. “What are you guys even talking about?”
Satang raised an eyebrow slowly, a mischievous grin spreading across his face.
“Oh please,” he said. “Your boyfriend already told us everything.”
Phuwin froze.
And slowly turned his head toward Pond.
“You… told them?” he asked quietly, narrowing his eyes.
Pond lifted his hands slightly in defense, still smiling. “Technically… It just slipped out of me.”
“Oh please,” Satang interrupted immediately, stepping forward like a lawyer presenting evidence. “You literally said “I don’t mind paying because it’s for my boyfriend.’”
Fourth clapped his hands once in delight. “Yes! Exact words!”
Dunk nodded enthusiastically. “Word for word.”
Phuwin stared at Pond for a long moment, his face slowly turning pink.
“You announced it like that?” he muttered.
Pond rubbed the back of his neck, chuckling softly. “It just… slipped out.”
“Slipped out?” Satang repeated dramatically. “That’s not something that slips out! That’s a relationship announcement!”
Fourth suddenly gasped and pointed between them. “Wait so it’s actually true? You two are really together?”
Phuwin opened his mouth to answer, but Dunk jumped in first.
“Oh it’s true,” he said, nodding knowingly. “Look at them. The eye contact alone is suspicious.”
“Exactly!” Satang added. “They’ve been looking at each other like that for the past thirty seconds.”
Phuwin immediately looked away, his ears turning red.
Pond, on the other hand, just laughed quietly.
Fourth leaned closer to Dunk and whispered loudly enough for everyone to hear, “So… are we witnessing Phuwin’s first official boyfriend right now?”
“Seems like it,” Dunk replied thoughtfully.
Satang placed a dramatic hand over his chest. “Wow. Our little Phuwin is growing up.”
“STOP IT,” Phuwin groaned, covering his face with one hand.
That only made them laugh harder.
Meanwhile Pond stood beside him, clearly enjoying the chaos a little too much.
Satang suddenly clapped his hands again. “Okay but we’re going back to the important question.”
Phuwin looked at him suspiciously. “What question?”
Satang pointed between Pond and Phuwin.
“The one I asked earlier.”
Fourth grinned.
Dunk folded his arms.
Satang leaned forward slightly, eyes sparkling with mischief.
“Are you two going to kiss or not?”
Phuwin’s face instantly turned bright red.
“SATANG!”
Fourth nearly fell onto the couch laughing.
Dunk wiped imaginary tears from his eyes.
And Pond , completely relaxed beside Phuwin , just chuckled again, clearly very entertained watching his boyfriend suffer through his friends’ interrogation.
Phuwin turned to him in disbelief.
“You’re enjoying this, aren’t you?”
Pond’s smile widened slightly.
“Maybe a little.”
That only sent the three friends into another round of explosive laughter, even louder than before.
Phuwin groaned again, exasperated, but a small smile crept over his face. “…You guys are done?”
Satang straightened immediately. “Of course we are.”
Fourth dramatically wiped a tear from his eye. “Everything looks perfect.”
Dunk gestured toward the decorations like a proud general. “Best birthday setup ever, hands down.”
Phuwin’s gaze softened as he took in the living room , the balloons, streamers, snacks, and gifts. Then his eyes fell on Pond.
He stepped forward. Slowly. Deliberately.
The friends noticed immediately, and all three instinctively leaned in closer, as if trying to get a better view of the drama.
Pond blinked in surprise as Phuwin suddenly reached out and grabbed the front of his shirt lightly, pulling him down just a little.
And before anyone could even react—
Phuwin pressed a quick, soft kiss to Pond’s lips.
The room went completely silent.
Pond froze for half a second, then a warm laugh escaped him, cheeks coloring faintly.
Satang’s jaw literally dropped. “Wait—WHAT?”
Fourth’s mouth fell open so wide it looked like it might break. “NO WAY. DID THAT JUST HAPPEN?”
Dunk’s hand flew to his face. “I… I can’t… he actually kissed him.”
Satang pointed at Pond. “AND HE DID IT RIGHT THERE. IN FRONT OF US!”
Fourth clutched his chest like he had just been stabbed by excitement. “I—this is unreal!”
Dunk shook his head slowly, trying to process the chaos. “I… I didn’t even see it coming…”
Meanwhile, Phuwin pulled back slightly, folding his arms smugly, face pink but satisfied.
“You wanted a kiss,” he said calmly. “You got one.”
Satang jabbed a finger at him. “You’re way too confident all of a sudden!”
Fourth leaned closer to Dunk, whispering dramatically, “We are witnessing a whole new Phuwin tonight.”
Dunk nodded slowly, eyes still wide. “Yeah… Pond changed him.”
Phuwin scoffed but the slight curve of his lips betrayed him.
And the friends weren’t done.
Satang leaned in, eyes sparkling with mischief. “So… are you two going to properly kiss now, we need some tongue action there .. or are we waiting all night?”
Fourth started giggling uncontrollably. “Yeah! This is a matter of principle!”
Dunk crossed his arms, pretending to be serious. “We demand proof of love.”
Pond just chuckled quietly, his cheeks heating up and he glanced at Phuwin. His smile was soft, fond… and absolutely enjoying how flustered his boyfriend had become under the combined scrutiny of three relentless friends.
Phuwin groaned loudly, face nearly red enough to match the balloons. “YOU THREE—”
But the laughter from all three of them only grew louder. Satang was already rubbing his hands together like he had just set a trap. Fourth was shaking with suppressed giggles. Dunk was leaning on the table, head thrown back, unable to stop laughing. And Pond, beside him, quietly laughed too, enjoying watching the storm of teasing descend on his boyfriend.
It was chaos. It was embarrassing. It was perfect.
🐱🐶
The laughter slowly settled as the three friends finally corralled themselves back to the table. Pond carefully placed the lemon cake in the center, stepping back to admire it. The fairy lights above gave the frosting a gentle glow, making it look even more irresistible.
“Finally!” Satang declared, hands on his hips. “The moment of glory , the birthday cake!”
Fourth leaned in, eyes sparkling. “Pond brought it, so I expect perfection. Don’t let us down, birthday boy!”
Dunk smirked. “Oh, I think the real entertainment will be watching Phuwin try not to blush.”
Phuwin’s gaze immediately found Pond, who was quietly smiling at him from across the table. Pond’s fingers hovered near the cake, steadying it as if it were priceless.
Satang crouched slightly, holding a small candle. “Alright, birthday boy, time for your big wish. Close your eyes, make it count.”
Phuwin’s ears flushed red, but there was a glint of excitement in his eyes. He looked down at the cake, then back at Pond, and quickly closed his eyes. He took a slow breath, leaned forward, and blew out the candle in one smooth puff.
“All done,” he said softly, opening his eyes. A proud, triumphant smile spread across his face.
Pond’s lips curved into a soft smile as he carefully picked up a small piece of cake with his fork.
“Here… try this,” he said gently, holding it out toward Phuwin.
Phuwin blinked, a faint pink spreading across his cheeks. “Ah… okay,” he murmured, leaning forward just slightly.
As Pond fed him the first bite, the three friends couldn’t hold back.
“Hoooo!” Satang and Fourth exclaimed in unison, while Dunk added a loud, teasing, “Ooooh!”
Phuwin’s eyes went wide, and his ears burned red as he quickly chewed and swallowed. He ducked his head slightly, trying and failing to hide his smile.
Pond chuckled softly, amused by the reactions. “Relax… they’re just excited for you,” he whispered, leaning a little closer.
Phuwin peeked up at him, still blushing, and mumbled, “They .. They are so annoying”
Fourth leaned forward, grinning mischievously. “Hey, you two look adorable! Totally couple goals!”
Satang nudged Dunk. “See? This is why we needed cake feeding. Perfectly orchestrated blush moment!”
Dunk snickered. “Yeah, Phuwin’s melting, and Pond’s just… calm and smug. Classic.”
Phuwin glanced at Pond again, still trying to hide his flushed face, while Pond’s soft smile only made him blush deeper.
“Alright, enough teasing,” Satang said, waving a hand. “You can continue… but the audience approves.”
Pond chuckled, feeding him another small bite, and Phuwin took it with a shy, happy smile, the warmth of the moment making the room feel cozy despite all the teasing.
The friends leaned back, grinning at the scene they had created, still muttering little “hoooos” whenever Pond fed Phuwin, while the birthday boy’s soft laughter and blushes filled the room.

The five of them lounged on the floor, cushions tossed around, the low table buried under cookies, chips, chocolate, and leftover cake slices. Laughter and chatter bounced off the walls as they traded stories and teasing jabs.
“BOOZE IS HERE, BOISSS!” Dunks bellowed, plopping down with a handful of beer cans. The clang of metal against the table made everyone cheer.
“It’s about time for the 18th birthday ritual!” one friend shouted, raising his can.
“Finally! My first drink ever,” Phuwin said, eyes sparkling with excitement. He looked around at their grins and teasing stares.
“Don’t chicken out on us now, birthday boy,” teased another, nudging him playfully.
“Yeah, make it count, Phuwin! Or we’ll pour it down your throat ourselves,” Dunks added, laughing.
Phuwin puffed out his chest, trying to act brave. “Ha! I’ve been waiting for this. Watch and learn, everyone.”
Without a second thought, he grabbed a can and chugged it all in one go. The room exploded with cheers. “YES! That’s our boy!” Dunk yelled. “Look at him go!”
Phuwin laughed, a little dizzy but thrilled, slapping the empty can on the table. “Ha! See? I told you I could do it!”
Soon, they were passing cans around, clinking them together, teasing, and laughing until their cheeks hurt. “This is how birthdays should be,” Fourth said, taking a long sip, while Dunks playfully scowled at Phuwin, “Careful, rookie, don’t finish my stash too fast!”
Pond, however, felt a twinge of worry. He leaned toward Phuwin, lowering his voice. “Hey… slow down a bit, okay?”
Phuwin rolled his eyes, still grinning. “Stop babying me, Pond. I’m fine,” he said, nudging him playfully.
“Ohh, look at Pond, everyone,” Satang laughed, pointing at him. “Trying to be the responsible adult already? What are you, the babysitter now?”
“Yeah! Let him drink, Pond. It’s his birthday,” Dunk chimed in, nudging Phuwin, who just smirked.
Pond frowned but didn’t push further. He sighed, letting Phuwin enjoy the moment, though he kept a careful eye on him.
The night wore on with laughter, stories, playful jabs, and clinking cans. Phuwin, exhilarated and carefree, leaned back, soaking it all in, while Pond stayed close enough to make sure the birthday boy didn’t go too far. Despite his worry, he couldn’t help smiling at the sheer joy on Phuwin’s face.
Eventually the laughter and clinking cans began to slow down. The pile of empty cans had grown, and the once-neat table was now a battlefield of crumbs, wrappers, and half-finished snacks.
Dunk stretched his arms above his head with a loud groan. “Alright… I think we’ve officially reached our alcohol limit , I’m glad tomorrow is a weekend”
“One more drink?” Satang suggested weakly.
“Nope,” Dunk said, already pulling out his phone. “If we drink any more, none of us are making it home. I’m calling a cab.”
He stepped a little aside while tapping on his phone. “Yeah, three people. Yep, that address… okay, we’ll be outside,” he said before hanging up. Turning back to the group he clapped once. “Cab’s coming in five minutes. Move it, drunkards.”
“Hey! I’m not drunk,” Fourth protested while struggling to stand straight, which only made everyone laugh.
They slowly got up, grabbing their jackets and stepping over the mess on the floor. Dunk ruffled Phuwin’s hair as they passed. “Happy birthday again, rookie drinker.”
“Yeah, proud of you for surviving your first beer,” Satang teased.
Phuwin grinned lazily, clearly pleased with himself. “Please. I could’ve had more.”
“Sure you could,” Dunk snorted.
They shuffled toward the door together, still laughing and nudging each other. When the cab’s headlights appeared outside, Dunk waved it down and started ushering others in.
“Alright, birthday boy, we’re leaving you in Pond’s responsible hands,” Fourth said dramatically.
“Yeah, take care of him, Pond,” another added with a teasing grin. “Your precious baby.”
Pond rolled his eyes , a small smile tugging at his lips. “Get in the cab before I punch you.”
“Bye, Pond! Bye, Phuwin!” they shouted, waving from the windows as the cab finally pulled away.
The house suddenly felt much quieter.
Phuwin swayed slightly as he walked back toward the couch, cheeks warm and a lazy smile on his face. “Whoa… okay… maybe that did hit a little,” he admitted before dropping onto the couch.
Pond laughed softly. “I told you. You’re not used to alcohol. Lay down for a bit.”
While Phuwin sprawled across the couch, Pond began cleaning up a little. He gathered the empty cans, tossing them into the trash, stacked the plates, and brushed crumbs off the table. He straightened the cushions and collected stray wrappers scattered around the floor.
Behind him, Phuwin let out the occasional quiet giggle at nothing in particular.
Once the living room looked at least somewhat decent again, Pond sighed and sat down beside him.
That’s when he noticed Phuwin staring.
“What are you looking at?” Pond asked, raising an eyebrow.
Phuwin’s lips curled into a slow, teasing smile, his eyes slightly glazed but focused on Pond.
“Just checking something,” he said lazily.
“Checking what?”
Phuwin hummed before replying with a crooked grin,“Whether my babysitter is actually handsome… or if the alcohol is just messing with my eyesight.”
Pond blinked at him for a second before letting out an incredulous laugh. “You’re definitely drunk.”
Phuwin didn’t argue. Instead, he slowly stretched his arms out toward Pond, wide and inviting.
“Your highness requires transportation,” Phuwin mumbled softly, a sleepy pout forming on his lips. “Please carry me to my room.”
Pond shook his head, a fond smile spreading across his face. . “Wow. The alcohol turned you into royalty now?”
“Mm,” Phuwin nodded lazily, his arms still waiting for him. “It’s my birthday. I deserve special treatment.”
Pond’s smile only softened. He stepped closer to the couch and gently slid one arm behind Phuwin’s back and the other under his knees before lifting him up and Phuwin immediately relaxed in his arms, like it was the most natural place for him to be. His arms slipped around Pond’s shoulders, his head leaning comfortably against him.
“See?” Phuwin murmured sleepily. “Perfect.”
Pond chuckled under his breath, adjusting his hold as he carried him toward the bedroom. The house had gone quiet now, the chaos of the party replaced by a calm stillness. By the time they reached the hallway, Phuwin had already melted further into him, warm and heavy in his arms. Pond glanced down at him briefly, smiling to himself as he continued walking toward Phuwin’s room.
🐶🐱
Phuwin didn’t let go of Pond even when Pond eased him down onto the bed, his fingers tightening in the fabric of Pond’s shirt as he pulled him down with him. Pond didn’t protest; he had expected it. By now, he had grown used to the way Phuwin clung to him , so soft, needy, and unashamed about it. And truthfully, Pond loved it. There was something almost unreal about seeing Phuwin so openly attached to him, so certain in his affection. Every time Phuwin held onto him like this, it made Pond feel light, like the ground beneath him had disappeared and he was simply floating in the warmth of being loved.
Pond ended up hovering over him, supporting his weight on his elbows as he leaned down to leave small, lingering kisses across Phuwin’s face , his cheek, the corner of his mouth, the bridge of his nose.
Phuwin’s eyes were closed, a shy smile resting on his lips as he soaked it all in, looking loose and relaxed in a way that only came when he was completely comfortable.
Pond huffed out a quiet laugh, brushing another kiss against his cheek.
“It was your first time drinking and you still couldn’t stop,” he murmured teasingly. “Should I be worried about the future? Am I dating a future drunk, Phuwin?”
Phuwin chuckled softly, the sound warm and breathy. After a moment, he opened his eyes, looking up at Pond with a sleepy glint of mischief.
“Relax,” he murmured. “I don’t think alcohol is the problem.”
Pond raised an eyebrow. “Oh?”
Phuwin’s fingers curled a little tighter in Pond’s shirt as his smile widened slightly.
“I was already drunk before tonight,” he said softly. “Just… not on the alcohol.”
Pond blinked. “Then on what?”
Phuwin tilted his head, eyes warm as they held Pond’s.
“On you.”
For a split second, Pond just stared at him. Then the tips of his ears turned red, the color creeping up before he could stop it. He let out an embarrassed laugh, shaking his head as if trying to brush the words away.
“N-Nara , kiss me naa,” Phuwin’s voice rose softly, his arms sliding around Pond’s shoulders as he pulled him closer, refusing to leave even the smallest space between them.
Pond couldn’t help the smile that spread across his face at that. He shook his head a little again , amused and fond all at once, before leaning down.
“You are addicted to my lips” he murmured.
But he didn’t make Phuwin wait. Pond cupped his cheek gently and pressed a warm kiss to his lips, slow and soft, the kind that lingered just a little longer than necessary. Phuwin hummed quietly against him, tightening his arms around Pond as if he planned to keep him right there. They could still taste the faint bitterness of beer on each-other’s lips , It mixed with the softness of the kiss , making the moment warm and dizzy.
Their tongues mingled without hesitation , deepening the kiss. Ponds hand found his way to Phuwin’s inner thigh , giving it a solid squeeze provoking a whimper from Phuwin.
When Pond finally pulled back, something suddenly crossed his mind. His hand instinctively moved toward his back pocket, feeling the small box still tucked safely inside.
He smiled to himself before glancing down at Phuwin again.
“Hmm” Pond said thoughtfully, tilting his head. “Guess you’re too drunk to even receive your birthday gift. You are only receiving kisses”
Phuwin’s eyes widened instantly.
“I’m not drunk!” he protested, straightening up so quickly it made Pond laugh. His eyes were suddenly bright, alert, completely focused. “I’m very sober, okay? Extremely sober.”
Pond’s chuckle slipped out easily. “Oh really? That didn’t seem like it two minutes ago.”
“I am!” Phuwin insisted, puffing his cheeks a little. “You’re the one who keeps putting drinking accusations on me”
Pond only grinned wider, clearly unconvinced.
Before he could tease him again, Phuwin pushed lightly against his chest, making Pond shift back. The movement forced them both upright, sitting on the bed now instead of tangled together like before.
Phuwin crossed his arms slightly, trying to look serious despite the faint pout on his face.
“I told you I’m sober,” he said. “It’s just… when I’m around you I get sleepy and baby-like. That’s your fault.”
Pond laughed again at that, shaking his head. Oh this boy was his everything , His heart felt overflowed with tenderness. Instead of replying, Pond simply reached behind himself and slipped the small box out of his back pocket.
Phuwin’s gift.
Phuwin’s eyes lit up the moment he saw the small box in Pond’s hand, a soft smile instantly spreading across his face.
“What is this, Nara?” he asked, his voice warm and curious.
Before Pond could answer, Phuwin was already leaning closer, taking a shy little peek at the box in his hands. The way he tried to look casual about it only made Pond smile wider.
“Impatient,” Pond teased gently, though there was nothing but fondness in his voice.
He opened the box slowly.
Inside, resting against the soft lining, was a delicate bracelet. The chain was simple but elegant, and hanging from it was a small sun charm, its tiny rays catching the light faintly.
For a moment, Phuwin just stared.
Pond carefully took the bracelet out before reaching for Phuwin’s hand. His fingers wrapped gently around Phuwin’s wrist as he pulled it closer, fastening the bracelet there with careful movements.
Phuwin didn’t say anything at first. He was simply smiling softly, quietly, like the moment meant more than he could easily put into words.
Pond looked up at him, his own expression warm.
“Happy birthday for a millionth time , my sweet babyboy,” he said , showing his perfect bread smile.
The nickname hit Phuwin instantly.
Color rushed to his face, his ears turning red as he ducked his head slightly, suddenly looking painfully shy. But the embarrassment didn’t stop him. If anything, it seemed to push him forward.
Before Pond could react, Phuwin leaned in and kissed him. It wasn’t rushed or messy like before , just soft and sincere, his hand lightly gripping Pond’s shirt as if he needed to steady himself.
When Phuwin finally pulled back, he looked down at his wrist again.
The bracelet caught the lamp light as he turned it slightly, the little sun charm glinting softly. His smile returned immediately, even brighter this time.
“I love it,” he murmured, almost to himself. His fingers brushed over the charm carefully, like he was afraid it might disappear if he wasn’t gentle enough. “It’s really beautiful.”
Then he glanced up at Pond again, curiosity returning to his expression.
“What’s with the sun?” Phuwin asked.
Pond smiled at that, his gaze softening as he looked at him.
“Well , because you’re my sun,” he said quietly. “You don’t even realize it, but you light up everything around you. When you smile, when you laugh… it feels like the whole world gets warmer.”
His thumb brushed lightly over the bracelet on Phuwin’s wrist.
“And when things feel dark or heavy,” Pond continued, voice softer now, “you’re the one who makes it better. You’re bright, Phuwin. Warm. You make everything feel alive.”
He looked back up at him, smiling gently.
“So I thought… it suits yo-
Phuwin moved with the speed of light , His lips capturing Ponds in an unmistaken haste. Phuwin’s hands were on Ponds thighs , holding so he doesn’t melt away at the sweetness of the taste.
His tongue working its way into Ponds mouth , instantly moving perfectly in sync with Ponds. A passionate moan left Phuwin’s mouth when Pond pulled him forward , locking him between his legs.
His hands went to Phuwin’s neck , tilting his head to get a better angle and then wandered to Phuwin’s back underneath his shirt , feeling his bare skin.
When they pulled away , their faces were flushed and their breaths came out uneven. Smiles tugged both of their faces and their eyes were shining with joy and love evidently.
“Thank you for everything, nara,” Phuwin murmured, pressing his forehead gently against Pond’s.
Pond smiled softly and patted his head, fingers brushing through his hair. “You’re welcome , baby,” he said warmly, the simple words carrying everything he felt.
After a quiet moment, they shifted, letting themselves fall back onto the bed. Pond pulled Phuwin close, and they settled into each other’s arms, the soft weight of their bodies fitting perfectly together. Their breathing slowed, their foreheads resting side by side, and they melted into a comfortable cuddle.
Phuwin tilted his head slightly, his voice soft and earnest. “I… I want to stay with you forever, nara.”
Pond chuckled, running a hand through Phuwin’s hair. “Forever, huh? You sure you can handle me that long?”
Phuwin smirked against Pond’s chest, teasing back. “I’ll survive… as long as you keep holding me like this.”
They laughed quietly together, small whispers filling the room. And then, without noticing, the warmth, the closeness, and the gentle rhythm of each other’s heartbeat pulled them both into a deep, peaceful sleep.
