Chapter Text
The next morning came easily for Felix.
He hadn’t even opened his eyes but he could tell that the sickness from the day before must have passed, since he woke up feeling so much better. He was still carefully tucked under a light blanket, wearing comfortable pajamas, and snuggled up close next to a strong and warm body.
Wait… A body?
The blond finally opened his eyes, looking up a bit to check who was in his bed. He had assumed it was one of the members, and he relaxed when he noticed that it was Chan.
The memories of last night flooded his mind, and a ferocious blush spread across his face.
He hadn’t intended to EVER regress in front of one of the others, since he just assumed that it would make them uncomfortable or cause unnecessary stress amongst the group. He figured it would be easier to keep that side of him hidden. Now, it seems all of his careful hiding had gone to waste.
But was it really that bad of a thing?
He was jolted from his deep thoughts when he felt the arm around him tighten a bit, and Chan pressed a kiss to the top of Felix’s head. “Good morning, baby~ Are you feeling better?” The older man asked quietly, his voice a bit deep with sleep still since it seems that he had just woken up.
Felix blushed and nodded, nuzzling his face even closer against the other man’s chest. “Mhm, I feel better… Thank you, Channie Hyung..” He whispered in response, smiling to himself at the small kiss.
Chan rolled his body a bit more towards Felix and smiled down at him. “You don’t need to thank me, Lix.. Uh, you do remember what happened, right?”
“Yeah.. I regressed, didn’t I?” He mumbled into Chan’s strong chest, not wanting to make eye contact just yet. He still felt his sleepy brain muffling the world around him. “Thank you even more, for taking care of me like that.. I’m sure it wasn’t what you had expected…”
Chan frowned when he heard the little sliver of insecurity in Felix’s small voice, shaking his head and hugging Felix closer. “You were so adorable, baby. Daddy Channie will take care of you whenever you want or need me to, okay?” He reassured the younger man, pulling the blanket up around them both a bit more.
Chan felt Felix smile against his chest and rubbed small circles into the younger man’s back.
“You’re so kind, Hyung, I really got lucky meeting you.” Felix said and laughed a bit, finally waking up some more. “I’m sorry I never told you before, I just… Didn’t want any of you guys to think differently of me.”
Chan shook his head and sat up, pulling Felix into his lap and snuggling him close. “You don’t need to apologize for anything, Felix. It’s just another side of you for us to love, huh? Plus, you know the guys are absolutely whipped for you. Nothing could change how we think of you. Unless you became like… a serial killer or something. But I think we would still love you just the same.” Chan joked, laughing and gently patting Felix’s butt a few times.
Felix laughed as well, curling into Chan’s strong arms and sighing happily. “Good to know you guys will back me up if I ever go crazy~”
They sat there in a very comfortable silence for a little while, snuggled close and just enjoying each other's company. The outside world felt nonexistent to them as they basked in their little bubble, sharing a small secret moment that was special. Only for them.
“Does that mean that you wouldn’t mind being my official caregiver.. J-just for when I need to regress?” Felix asked softly after a few minutes, pulling away from Chan a bit to look him in the eyes. “I think it would really help me, and I trust you so much… I’ve never been able to trust someone with this before.”
Chan was quiet for a moment before his eyes became shiny with tears and he nodded his head. “Of course, Felix. I would love to be your caregiver, baby,” He whispered before he hugged the blond tightly, laughing wetly as he hid his face in Felix’s shoulder. “Thank you for trusting me so much, Lix. I promise that I’ll take such good care of my sweet baby whenever he needs me.”
Felix was a bit shocked with the emotional response from his leader, but after the shock wore off he started to grow emotional as well.
Tears welled in Felix’s eyes and warmth spread throughout his entire chest as he felt the weight of the world suddenly disappear from his shoulders. A shaky breath of relief finally left his lungs as he sighed heavily and relaxed against Chan’s body, trusting the older man to hold him.
“T-thank you, Hyung…” Felix sobbed, wrapping his arms around Chan’s neck. “I think.. I think I want to tell the others too. I don’t want to keep any more secrets from everyone.” His voice was a bit muffled through his sniffles, but Chan heard him loud and clear.
“If you’re sure, baby. We can tell them whenever you’d like, just say the word.” Chan encouraged happily, using one of his hands to gently pet Felix’s head as he rocked them back and forth.
Felix smiled, his eyelids growing heavy and his body feeling tired from exerting so much mental and emotional energy so soon after waking up. “Today.. But I think we should get a little bit more sleep first.” He told Chan, giggling and pulling the man back down to lay in the bed.
Chan followed him down with a grin, laying so Felix could use his arm as a pillow before he pulled the blankets properly over the two of them once again. “Alright, love. Let’s sleep some more, and then we can introduce baby Lixie to the rest of the family.”
Felix nodded his head and snuggled close, allowing the peaceful embrace of sleep to take hold of him again.
He had sweet dreams of the wonderful future he imagined that he could have with the rest of his chosen family once he finally reveals this part of him to them. Secret picnics with cutely cut fruits and fun shaped foods, movie nights with all of his favorite animated children’s films all snuggled up with his favorite people in the entire world.
Finger painting with Hyunjin.
Watching silly cat videos with Minho.
Eating yummy treats in secret with Changbin and Jisung before dinner.
Playing pretend prince and dragons with Seungmin and Jeongin.
Felix couldn’t wait to tell them.
