Visiting Dunk made Phuwin numb. Truth has a heavy silence. Remorse, guilt nothing can define the cruelty. His past action still aching in his heart. In the mirror he doesn't see a reflection, he see a monster standing and fulfilling every demand like a slave his father wants. Now he understands control was never in his hand but he is the one who was controlled.
Phuwin was thinking Deep when small foot steps came behind him. Two hands clutching his hands. He knows who is this. In the past few days Pond has started believing him. A smile small but unmistakebell occupied his lips.
"Phi", Pond's excited voice rang through the room.
" Tell me", Phuwin without turning.
" I want to go out with friends."
"Your friends!" Phuwin voice slightly cold.
"The new ones in uni, they are good..... please"
"Okay.... But you're not going alone."
"Really... you will let me go ."
Phuwin just noded. Pond was so happy that he even hug Phuwin muttering thankyou. He didn't realise what he was doing until he felt strong possessive touch on his waist. He hold back and look Phuwin's hand hugging back. He stumble back.
"Sorry. I-l didn't..... sorry.", Pond was about to cry. Fear crept inside him. He may start trusting but the still throbbing bruises on his skin made him remember every hit every torture. He clutches the hem off his shirt tight just to stand still.Phuwin saw the fear and something inside him twist, guilt, love, hate for himself or something totally else what doesn't want acknowledge.
"I didn't say anything to you. It's okay. "
"Sorry," pond just keep saying like a shield.
"Pond. Look at me. I know I did wrong before but not anymore..... I promise I will never hit u again. You are safe."
For a moment Pond look up really look at the man infront of him.he can't believe what he hear is true or just another fraction of light before darkness. Because kindness leave his path for a long time. He didn't say a word. Silent tears roll down from his cheeks. Phuwin's thumb press aginst it brushing the moisture away. Pond froze than started trembling violently, memories bad, years of living nightmares all came down together. Phuwin saw it happening in time, he just kept his thumb on Pond skin to make him believe that no more violence.
"Breath.Breath with me "
After sometime Pond Stop reality came to his senses. He stadied himself.
"Thank you."
Phuwin just smile, a smile that came maybe first time in his life. A soft real smile. Softness that he never knew.
" Stay with me tonight Pond."
Pond shiver started shaking. He remembers everything from the night when Phuwin force him just to satisfy his anger. Sensing the sift Phuwin told, " I won't do anything. I just want you by my side."
Pond nodded.
"Good boy."

The next morning came slowly. Pond woke up beside Phuwin. One arm wrap against his waist securly. Phuwin keep his promise. And for once Pond sleep without nightmares. He tried to free himself as slow possible but Phuwin stirred.
"Where are you going?" Sleep still linger in his voice.
"Phi. I told you last night... I.... I have to go with my friends."
"Hmm. Okay go."
After getting ready when Pond came to front gate there was Joong already standing by car.
"Phi. Good morning. Why...why_"
"Why am I here?" Joong comleted for him.
Pond nodded.
"Because " , Phuwin's voice from back " I told you not alone. He is going with u. He won't be made things problematic for you guys. He will just stay near you."
"Okay phi. "

After 30 minutes they reached the mall. Aou was the one enthusiasticly greet them first.
"Took you long enough. " Then his gaze went to Joong, " and who's this with you?"
"This is phi Joong.... He will be with us. Dw he won't be a problem. Just for safety." Pond explained.
"That's sounds prptective. You can't come alone." Santa's voice came from the side.
Pond just smile at that. Because he knows no matter what happens Phuwin is actually protective. And from his experience he knows Phuwin does everything with precision and the things he care is precious. And Pond is one of them.
Their shopping goes as planned. Nothing inappropriate. They had fun specially pond after a long time he understood what is normal life. Joong for his part stay close and alert but there is smile on his face seeing Pond happy. Because he knows Pond happy means Phuwin is grounded.
Aou and Santa take Pond to a musium, art gallery, even a small play park near uni. They enjoyed like this is the only holiday they get. Pond learn new things about the city and some memories that he forgot happy memories refresh with his family.

In the evening everyone parted.
"See you tomorrow at the uni" ,Aou still enthusiastic but dimmed by tired ness.
"We had a good day. Thanks Pond for trusting us and coming.", Santa said.
"I am happy to. This is the best day I have with friends." Pond beamed.
They bids goodbye and went to their respective paths.
The car rolled to the driveway and Stop. Pond came out exhausted but fresh. And the first thing he did went straight to find Phuwin. The moment he saw Phuwin in the garden he beamed again .
"Phi..... Today is the best day. Thank you for let me out." , pond clutching Phuwin's sleeves.
"You are back." Phuwin looks at Pond carefully and smiled. That rear smile only for Pond.
"Yes. In one piece.as u send. " Joong said like reporting a business deal. " Now let me take my leave."
Phuwin glare at him. "Go" simple one word. Then his attention shifted back to pond.
"How was your day ."
"Good. Phi. I had fun." Pond smile and something release from Phuwin's chest.
"Okay. Now go fresh up and take rest."
Pond nodded.
And just like that peace return to Phuwin for sometime atleast and one thing he started to acknowledge that Pond is the peace that make him human.
