Chapter Text
Portals have been found in some areas of Nilspace, leading to separate areas or dimensions.
We have been extensively researching these portals, trying to figure out why some places are accessible while others aren’t, and what this means for Nilspace and it’s residents.
The Eclipse Zone:
This is an area accessible by a portal in void regions, it is unknown how far you have to travel to find it, as nobody has ever willingly entered that zone.
The only reason we know this exists, is because at times Ace will disappear, only to be found hours later in these void zones, having been in The Eclipse Zone against his will.
We theorize these portals are also where false ace comes from. We haven’t brought it up with the actual Ace yet though.
The Demo Disc:
This is the only portal that we are aware of that has predictable patterns, in fact, this portal is summonable. This portal can be summoned by attempting to turn on the PC in Jacob’s room. It will transport the person inside the CD that lays in the tray. The computer turns off when the person returns, and the person can be forced back to the house through turning the computer off.
It’s not advised to go into this portal, as according to Jacob, it’s very hostile.
There is also a really heavy fog over the entire area, making it easy to get lost as you can hardly see a few feet ahead of you.
The Remains:
This area was recently discovered with the introduction of new resident, Geometry. The portals to this region can be found in the garden. It is undetermined how far into the garden you have to be, as the portals seem to appear and disappear at random, moving spots in an undeterminable pattern.
Geometry has led expeditions through this area, though will go alone at times, asking people to not follow.
This area seems to be made up entirely of rock, though with the occasional tree that at a first glance seems to be rock as well. There are few rivers along paths, these rivers glow white and seem to be always warm.
There are many paths to take in this area, and it is quite large. Large enough that we haven’t explored all of it and Geometry doubts anyone ever will.
A heavy fog also resides over the entire realm, obscuring most vision, though it is less foggy than the Demo Disc.
The Maze:
This portal was discovered by accident when a resident was exploring a glitch zone. They were transported to a maze-like area with a red haze over everything, it hasn’t been brought up with Sean yet, though we believe it is a place that potentially houses Nilinstances, there were other forms of teleporters to other games as well, which caused that theory.
Other portals:
Other portals exist in Nilspace, usually appearing in the wetland, though occasionally appearing in other areas, though never the void or glitch zones.
These portals usually lead to games that Sean can contact the outside world through, and these portals appearing often leads to Sean disappearing for a few hours.
