Chapter Text
It was a bright sunny day, people were bustling about the mall. Everything seemed surprisingly normal. Deku wore casual clothing. He would look suspicious if he wore his villain costume. But it seemed so odd. He wore these clothes… when he was still a fan of him.
A group of teenagers was walking around the mall. They were the class of 1-A and his target.
He walked up to a blond spiky haired boy named Bakugo. An old friend from childhood. Though ever since the incident, they haven’t talked at all.
“Heyo, Kacchan!” Deku said with a fake smile. “Long time no see!”
Some of the other classmates looked over at Deku. Curiosity lit in their eyes.
“What the fuck are doing here Deku!” Bakugo said with a bit of surprise.
“I was just shopping! You never come over anymore what’s with that?” Deku said.
“I don’t hang out with weaklings! Fuck off!” Bakugo said and started to walk away.
Although, soon to the rescue was a classmate named Iida.
“Bakugo! That is no way to treat an old friend.” Iida said before turning to Deku. “Sorry about my classmate! My name is Iida Tenya pleasure to meet you!”
“My name is-” Deku paused for a moment. Unsure if he should use his real name or not. Though Bakugo already knew it. So did it matter? “Deku.”
Better be safe than sorry.
“Can we get going now?” Bakugo said. “Who has time for this damn nerd!”
“Hey, Deku want to come with us?” Iida offered.
Deku nodded excitedly. Bakugo rolled his eyes and continued walking on his way. ‘
Deku followed behind the class. His old self would have died of excitement at this opportunity to hang out with the future heroes of society. Though now the only excitement to be had now was the fun of the game. His mission was to spy on these little twerps.
The group seemed rather interested in the old friend of Bakugo’s. He had started conversations with the most talkative ones in the class at least. Gaining their trust was very important in this mission.
They evening soon came about and the group headed towards a small noodle restaurant that was located at the back of the mall. Deku ended up eating at a table with a girl named Urakaka and Iida. For the past half hour, Deku with fake excitement asked the pair about their quirks.
“Hey, Deku? What’s your quirk?” Urakaka said. “You asked us so much about ours,”
The girl let off a little chuckle and Deku smiled back.
“Well I am quirkless, I guess that’s why I get curious about quirks and stuff…” Deku said.
“Oh, I am sorry,” Uraraka said.
With that, the conversation pretty much came to an end. He finished his noodles. Said goodbye to his new fake friends. Then just left. Returning to the villain hell hole to report on his mission
