You finally woke up late in afternoon, the satin of Lucifers sheets unfamiliar to you but welcoming. You sit up and yawn, rubbing the sleep from your eyes you look to your side to notice a glass of water and some clean clothes, and not your uniform,which you half expected Lucifer to offer. You take a moment to remember last night and the whole exchange. You flush remembering it all, touch and words. The smell of Lucifer when your bodies pressed flush together,like a hint of some kind hidden smoked wood.Rosewood? Cedarwood? All you know is it smelled nice And comforting in contrast to your arms being held up by chains,toes barely touching the ground. You shake your head a bit and clear your mind of it for now. You're starting to feel the cold settle in your skin and start to redress yourself. It was slow and lazy, just like you felt after being tossed around the house of brothers. You could use some fresh air,somewhere outside of this house for a moment. Something other then the lingering smell of all the sins you've commited with everyone behind these walls.
With that thought, you decide to be on your way,If simeon and Luke would have you for the day.you quickly whip your D.D.D out and shoot thr group a text. Hoping it isn't too much of an odd time to message them. You tuck it in your pocket gingerly and make yourself march down stairs for a light...Brunch? A bit late,but you figure something is better than nothing as you briefly raid the house's fridge for a quick snack. You take a moment to realise the house seems pretty empty. Fruit mid-bite,you look around and notice the quietness surrounding you. You know it's because they're probably off to RAD or something along the lines of education enhancement but you weren't so certain anyway. It's best not to over think and the little 'ding!' of your D.D.D pulls you from your thoughts as you go about your day to purgatory hall,the ok to come over officially lighting up your screen.
As you finish the fruit in hand and toss whatever unwatned left over in the trash, you find yourself in the halls you used to find eerie and intimidating now comfortable,greeted quickly by Simeon and an excited Luke, happily bounding himself to you and giving you a warm hug. "MC! I'm glad you're with us!" he giggled joyfully, earning him your smile towards him before looking up at Simeon. " Hello Luke and you too Simeon!" You greet them. Simeons hand rests softly rest on his chest as he smiles to you, the ends of his eyes lifting slightly from the genuine expression. "Hello Mc,I must say I was happy to here you had some time to be with us." "oh! Of course! I've been behind those same walls for a while,I just missed my best friends and all." Luke softly squealed at the mention of bestfriends but contained most of his visible excitement with his balled up hands resting below his face.
Luke softly grabs your sleeve and tugs as Simeon turns to lead and open the room door,speaking "come! Barbatos brought us some new tea and we'd love to share with you." you look to Luke with a soft chuckle before following along, soon encouraged to sit down.The tea seems to already to placed on the low-rise table, fresh and still steamy from the heat it was on previously. " we actually prepared a little ahead of time Mc, I hope you don't mind" the older angel commented smoothly, sitting as elegantly as ever, tea cup and dish placed ever so delicately in his seperate hands. "oh! I don't mimd at all,thank you! I've been really looking forward to seeing you both!" you speak with a smile on your face, already taking a sip of the delicious and most definitely exotic tea before you. Your eyes seem to wander a bit. You never really had a chance to sit and really look at Simeon. How his dark hair fell across his forhead in an uneven part,his hips exposed from his current choice of clothing and how his blue eyes were almost magically rich in color. Of course,when you catch your eyes lingering to long on the angel, you quickly advert your eyes. Unbeknowingly to you, he had certainly noticed the soft glistening in your eyes as you looked him down in awe.
A shame, really. He would have enjoyed teasing you but he's a little afraid of dear Luke asking too many questions and not getting the answers he'd want, poor boy. However,a little wouldn't hurt.."are you enjoying yourself?" it came out almost as natural as your name did. Your eyes seem to widen a bit. " o-oh?" "the tea,are you enjoying it?" he questioned, a tilt to his head. You sit up straight and nod "yes! It's quite delicious! Honestly, thank you both for letting me stay here, I really needed it." "oh,it was no problem Mc!" Luke chimes. "we haven't seen you in so long! Oh, I have to get something!" and Luke is off, quickly scuttling to grab something. Maube the brothers have really gotten into your mind.After all they've caved you in, you're now eyeing an angel before you, thinking he's making subtle passes, how sinful.However Simeon takes this opportunity to sit next to you with you so lost in thought. " you know, you seem a little more worn out then I'm used to seeing." he gives you a subtle glance,a bit of worry but all too knowing, you think. You end up softly blushing and glancing away. "oh! Well RAD has got me really busy ontop of the brothers, you know how they are." "Do I now? Well, if you're stressed out, please visit me more often,I'll be happy to help you de-stress a bit." he teases softly, his smile reaching his eyes as your blush spreads further a bit, thinking your mind is just in the gutter at this point, right? No angel would be so bold to proposition someone like that. You only clear your throat. "of course, I'll take your word for it then!" you respond, earning his smile as he goes to sip the tea. Was his knee always this close to yours?
Luke pops out, his cheerful voice reaching your ears without missing a beat, swatting away at the silence you and Simeon sat in "I made you some of Devildoms famous Fudge! That's what the humans call it, fudge? Here!" Luke very excitedly places the little gift bag in your hand. "oh! Thank you Luke, you're honestly too sweet sometimes!" you chuckle, earning a blush from the younger angel. Yeah, today was going to be just what you need, certainly.
