Chapter Text
When (Name) woke up, she expected to be in her own bed, at home, or in Anthony's arms..Instead she was greeted with the familiar pale wallpaper of the room she was forced to stay in. She was also greeted by Alastor standing at the foot of her bed with a wide smile on his face. "Ah, your awake, perfect, breakfast is ready!"
This became a routine of his, watching her sleep for a bit, then heading to bed, and then watching her until she woke up, or he deemed time to wake her up. He would occasionally hug her from the side, or place his hands in hers, on some occasions even kissing her as she started to wonder, when would he hurt her? He was amping up with his.."affection" and she hoped that she could get out before he did something.
She tried to ignore it, and she managed to for a week, but she was starting to feel unsafe, he was always brining up how she let him bathe with her before, and he did nothing to her, he barely reacted, so why was it suddenly an issue. Could he not see her point? Was he so blinded by his own delusions that he couldn't see how she felt for even just a moment, or, did he know, and still pushed her boundaries. Well, by the tenth day of him doing it, she had enough.
(Name) waited in bed, keeping her breathing steady as the door opened and a hand was placed on her face, she tried not to flinch or give away the fact that she was indeed awake. That would lead to some other problem. She waited as he played with her hair before feeling lips on her face as he muttered something in french, it was hard to tell what he said since it was so broken. She waited for what felt like hours after he left to get out of bed. She stopped at every noise that she made, every noise the house made. She snuck out of her room and down the stairs, sticking to the side of the wall, her eyes never leaving Alastors room.
She couldn't take it anymore. She tried, but she had a feeling he wasn't going to let her go. He wouldn't. He was a sick man, and whether or not he meant to hurt her, it didn't matter. because one day, she knew he would. (Name) had a plan, earlier that day, she called Anthony from the phone while Alastor was out hunting. She wanted to meet him near the front of woods, he even promised to have police with him. She made it to the front door, looking behind her just to make sure he wasn't waiting. There was no one there..so she unlocked the front door, and left, nearly making it before the wind slammed the door shut as she saw the light in his window go on.
Alastor was in fact asleep at the time, however, he was a light sleeper, so when he heard the front door slam shut, he rushed out of bed, nearly tripping down the stairs as he saw (Name) running out into the forest. He grabbed his gun and ran out after her. She wasn't getting away so soon. No, not when she made such a good helper in disposing of the bodies, not when he did everything for her. Not when she promised she wouldn't leave him. If he had to kill her to get her to stay, so be it. He'd honor her body, every part of it, for as long as he could.
(Name) panted as she rushed out, tripping over herself as she was getting turned around. Everywhere she went, it looked the same. Not that she could see much in the dark, the only light was the moon above her. "(Name) Come awn now! We don't gotta do this! Come back home!" She heard as she heard footsteps. Her body went tense as she looked around her. She didn't see him, but that didn't mean he couldn't see her, or that he wasn't close. "(Name) I don't wanna hurt ya, but if it comes to that..I will! Look--we can forget all this--we can move somewhere nice--preferably somewhere that won't hang me." He said, that last bit quieter as she hid behind a tree when she saw a shadow passing by.
"(Name) I'm warning ya..if you don't come out now..when ah find ya..I will kill ya..but ah guess you couldn't leave me if ah did that, now could ya? I--I'd be good to ya body cher. Ya know ah wouldn't do nothing to ya body, nothing like that, but you'd make a wonderful meal--ah could keep yer heart with me the entire time." The words that came out did not make her feel any better about being there, nor being stuck with him.
She walked as quietly as she could, staying low to the ground as she got to end, and she could see a man, multiple men. Her eyes widen. She was--she was almost free! She was so close to the end, that was anthony, and the police were there.
"No! You ain't sending any dogs or police in, not yet!" Anthony yelled as the men looked at him. "We can't wait much longer, the more time that goes by, the more likely it is that he'll run--" "I don't care about him, I cre about her! That's why I got you here, for her! To make sure she's safe, because if anything happens to her--You're gonna wish you had died." Anthony said, turning back to look at the forest as he saw a woman as he perked up. "That's her! That's her! (Name)! It's me!" he yelled as he saw her start to run as he opened his arms as he ran closer, ready to feel her embrace after so long
Everyone was surprised, but excited to see her, until a gunshot was heard as she stopped. Everyone stopped.
"(Name)..." Anthony rushed over as she stumbled towards him as he caught her. "Anthony.." He looked down at the shot. "No, no no no. You're gonna be okay. you'll be okay--" He couldn't even talk, what could he say? He knew she wouldn't make it. There wasn't a single doctor here.
She looked up at him, a hand going to his face. "I don't want to die Anthony." "You won't..You won't die, Just--Just hold on. We'll get you the best doctors." He said as the police ran in with the dogs as she started to close her eyes. "Hey, you- You can't die on me sister. We haven't even kissed yet." he said, trying to just, get some reaction from her as she gave a small laugh as he leaned in and kissed her as she kissed back, before going limp.
"(Name)." he said as he shook her. "(Name)..Please- Please don't leave me. Please. I..I can't live without you. No one else understands me. No one else saw me for who I was, please don't go. Please." he begged as he pulled her close.
Even seeing how mangled Alastor was from the dogs didn't help Anthony find peace. The only peace he found was when he was high, sometimes, it felt like she was still there with him. When he was dying, he knew there was no way he'd see her again, not were he was going.
