Max Verstappen hated Christmas, he hated everything around it.
So, when Lando asked him about going on a trip to the mountains with him and their friends and spending it all together this year? That was the most obvious 'no' in his entire life. But there was one problem. One big, beautiful, charming problem- Charles. He was also going and that was the reason why Max in the end agreed. How could he say 'no' to his best friend, right...?
No one could now that Charle's car would break in the middle of the forest. No one could know that they will have to stay alone in the cabin for God knows how long. What will happen then? Could they understand everything that they tried to hide for all those years?

Summary
Omegas are rare and precious. They are property of their alphas and not permitted to, for instance, drive race cars.
Max Verstappen presents as an omega and his budding racing career ends. Max and his father start a frenetic search for a suitable pack for Max. Because of the rarity of omegas, there is no shortage of packs looking for an omega, and omegas often end up mated to more than just one alpha. Max and Jos, however, have certain standards where it comes to Max's future pack: the pack must be built around motorsports. This cuts the number of eligible packs signifigantly smaller. Their search proves to be more fruitless than they anticipated.
And then Jos receives an offer from Lorenzo Leclerc.
