New MCs announced for Inkigayo: Park Seonghwa and ATEEZ Kim Hongjoong
Before Seonghwa even meets Kim Hongjoong, he knows what to expect: a young idol, full of passion and enthusiasm for the industry, stars in his eyes at the prospect of getting to work with a senior of Seonghwa’s magnitude. He’s seen it all before. They all get tired of this at some point. Even Seonghwa—especially Seonghwa.
What Seonghwa doesn’t expect is that this eager, wide-eyed puppy that he spends so much time with has a different side to him too. Kim Hongjoong is the leader, after all—the Captain of ATEEZ—and that side of him may just be exactly what Seonghwa needs to relax, let go and perhaps fall in love with music and performing all over again.

Summary
After seven years as an idol, Hongjoong was used to fans being too comfortable with him. It came with the territory and he learned to shrug it off. But one fan crossed the line too many times when they sent photographs clearly taken without Hongjoong's consent. Then the calls started. Things suddenly went from bad to worse, leaving Hongjoong looking over his shoulder at every turn until his friends couldn't take it anymore.
His wealthy parents stepped in, interfering with Hongjoong's life for the first time in years, and hired Horizon, a private security company, to protect him. Park Seonghwa, Hongjoong's new personal bodyguard, moved like a shadow. Always one step behind Hongjoong no matter what. What begun as a rocky professional partnership soon developed into friendship as Seonghwa ensured Hongjoong lived his life as normal as possible.
But as Hongjoong and Seonghwa drew closer together, the obsessive fan grew bolder. And the very people Hongjoong came to trust might just be the ones putting him in more danger.
Can their blossoming relationship survive?
Or were they doomed from the start?

Summary
Soloist Kim Hongjoong has it all: a thriving career, the freedom to release the music he wants, and a supportive environment as an openly-queer artist.
For years, rumours have been haunting him. Rumours about that one person in the public eye who doesn't seem to share everyone's enthusiasm about Hongjoong's talents: actor Park Seonghwa. After a particularly public display of animosity, their agencies have an idea -- turning the headlines and hit tweets into content that will profit both sides. In a revival of the popular variety show 'We got Married', Hongjoong and Seonghwa have to bury the hatchet and show the audience their best, domestic selves. But as time goes by, the lines begin to blur, and cameras start fading into the background. The question that Hongjoong needs to answer is when he stopped pretending -- or if he ever started.
