Upon first look, Rey is captivated by this handsome author and works up the courage to ask him out on a coffee date. What she doesn't expect is for Ben to be an overconfident asshole with strong prejudices against comic books—and that is a deal-breaker.

“That’s usually how grades work, sir.” Rey tilted her head back, staring up at the shotty popcorn ceiling of Professor Solo’s shoebox office. Better to feign disinterest than reveal the true panic she experience at the mention of ‘failure’. “I fail to complete the work and pass the exams, then you’ll have to fail me. You have no other choice. I do not see the problem.”
“The problem,” Professor Solo leaned back in his desk chair, “Miss Johnson, is you are failing perfectly.”

Summary
Rey Kenobi and Rose Tico are avid fans of the Galactic Conflict movie franchise, and active Kiralo shippers. However, when tensions arise between Rose and new roommate Armitage Hux over the Kiralo ship, Rey and the other new roommate, Ben Solo, step in with an agreement of silence about Galactic Conflict until they can all get along better.
However, as is the norm for agreements of silence, it’s not long before the silence is broken.
