The next few moments happen in slow motion. Yeosang sees Jongho - joined by Seonghwa who’s stopped fruitlessly firing into the trees - holding San back, knocking him to the floor so he can’t escape. He sees Mingi drop to his knees, he sees Hongjoong begin to rush towards the cockpit.
No one is paying him attention. No one sees him make his decision. No one knows what he’s about to do.
He tightens the strap on his bag to make sure it won’t fall off, and - before he can really think about what he’s doing - he immediately breaks out into a sprint towards the ramp that is slowly starting to retreat up into the side of the ship.
