Dazai turned around and got a good look at the animal. It stared, blankly at him. Dazai returned the stare. It blinked. He blinked. And then, it's expression seemed to change. It almost looked...Smug.And then, to Dazai's horror, it let out the most pitful, sad, pained meow in the history of catkind.
