"You're pregnant," Chiyo said. "About two and a half weeks along by my estimate."
The room was very quiet.
Izuku stared at her.
"...Sorry," she said. "Come again."----
"You know," she said slowly, "there has always been a joke in this clinic. Among the staff, for many years." A pause. "The joke was: always wash your hands properly around the samples. Or you'll end up pregnant." She said it lightly, but she was watching Izuku's face with steady attention. "It was always meant as a joke. Obviously. Because the probability of something like that actually occurring is." She paused. "Extraordinarily small."
Izuku had gone very still.

"Now that you're all here, let's get down to business," Endeavor said, his smile not reaching his eyes, "Dr. Midoriya, you work mostly with pro heroes. I'm sure you're aware of what Ground Zero here did last year, correct?"
Midoriya looked immediately uncomfortable. He glanced at Bakugo quickly before turning his eyes back to Endeavor. "I know that he had a very impressive hero year. His rescue and capture numbers are both through the roof, and he's still in the Top 5 of the rankings despite, well, what happened."
"Don't fucking sugar coat it, nerd," Bakugo snapped, causing Midoriya to jump slightly. "What, you scared I'm gonna blow you up?"
Midoriya met Bakugo's gaze easily, his mouth a firm line and his voice slow and gentle in it's response. "I'm not afraid of you, Ground Zero. Should I be?"

If Katsuki was a righteous man, he would decline the offer and tell Izuku the truth why he wanted to go but Katsuki wasn’t. He was a deranged pervert who had a romantic fixation with his childhood best friend. Katsuki knew he had no chance with Izuku—He was kind, smart, gentle, a good human being while Katsuki was the opposite. They didn’t mesh well but if this was the only chance he had to get as close to Izuku as he can.
Katsuki's been irritated lately, his vibes are way-way off and Izuku wondered why Katsuki rejected Kirishima's advice so viciously.

The first time Pilar saw him with Chrollo, she almost dropped her package.
They were sitting on the church steps, visible from the street if you knew where to look. She had come to deliver books, and had paused at the corner when she saw them. Rat was speaking, his voice too low to hear, and Chrollo was listening with an intensity that bordered on devotion.
Pilar knew him. There was something missing in that boy, some essential human warmth that had been scraped out of him too young and replaced with pure, adamantine will.
But the way he was looking at Rat—Pilar had seen that look before. She had worn it herself, once, a lifetime ago.
