    A sound theory. Brilliant, even. Except now, back on said surface with Cloud begrudgingly tagging along at his heels, Sephiroth isn’t so sure. Between not knowing the year, Jenova seemingly nowhere to be found, and his powers flitting in and out of control, Sephiroth is at a loss. And worse, Cloud is…strangely likeable?

    AKA, the really REALLY slow-paced redemption fic no one asked for where Sephiroth and Cloud road trip across Gaia before eventually settling down to play house in Midgar.
