A brand new league, with no established requirements, and a final exhibition match sanctioned by the gods of the region themselves. A foreign champion, chosen by the land. A champion in name, but with no backing beyond his own region.

    Well. Time to change that.

    Did he feel better? Maybe a smidgen. If the thing had cried or wailed over its pitiful existence and inevitable fading into obscurity maybe he would’ve been more satisfied.

    Then again, it was a skeleton key so he wasn’t sure what he had been expecting.
