Ever since I was born, there have been two things that have withstood the test of time. Through the loss of my mother, the complete break-down of my family, there has been Middle Earth, and Baker Street. These are my families, these places are my home. And to see them grow into such a loving fanbase has been a source of happiness that I did not know I needed.
Kimthin, my username, is a form of Neo-Khuzdul, and it means "song-place". I will try my best to incorporate this beautiful language into any Middle-Earth story I create, and with your help, my skills for it and for writing can grow. Let's make our fandoms proud, together!---
In all honesty, it is best to know an author, if you choose to read their profile or the little slip of the book cover. After all, there is a reason why we write so differently from one another!
In it's entirety I will try to tell you about myself and my life, and why I choose writing over my other methods of artwork.My affinity for books and the realms I mentioned before began when I could read and watch films. The Return of Sherlock Holmes is the book I have owned the longest, and the animated Hobbit still stands as the dearest to my heart. They have spared me pain and agony, and they have offered me escape when there was none in the hell of my first eight years of life, and they do so now as what remains of my family falls apart at the seams.
I dabble in art, music, prop design but writing is indeed my stronger skill. Possibly moreso than cooking as well, but we will laugh at that another day.
I do not have a particular writing style, I vary from one form to another it seems, but do not worry, if there is a part of my stories that seems to pester you or you have questions, please feel free to ask!
