    First: She's blind. Actually, truly blind. And second: Zuko's a stupid, awkward, over-protective drama queen who somehow makes her blindness all about him.

Obviously her many years of travel and independence left her wanting something more. That had to be the case. Because he wasn't asking her to marry him. And she would never consider accepting, either.

    "Of course. What are they gonna do? I wouldn't say we have lines of candidates for the role of Aang's firebending teacher," Toph chuckled and rested her chin on Zuko's right shoulder. He appreciated that. It was nice that someone remembered his deafness in his left ear the first time. "Besides, you're a chill guy. So what if you chased them a little. It happens! Everyone has their flaws, right?"

    "… Yeah."

    "Well, except me, of course."

    "Yeah, whatever makes you happy," Zuko smirked, looking away.

    Yes. Zuko had a chance. Definitely had one. The main thing was not to give up.

    And, if possible, to ask girl's name.

    OR: What if Zuko wouldn't burn Toph's feets?
