Summary
"May 23, 51' 22:36
There is a kind of sadness that pervades the hearts and minds of every Revacholian, a kind of unspoken loneliness that lingers through the iron-tinged marine layer and emanates from the smokestacks, a looming threat that echoes off the cloud layer.
Often it sounds of aerostatic blades and looks of search lights dancing over rooftops, and so, Kim can't sleep, too stuck on thinking about the quietness of Martinaise.
Of Harry."
Kim Kitsuragi works his first case with Harry since Martinase. Journaling his descent into madness as he moves closer to becoming a full fledged member of the 41st and falls further and further into Harrys orbit.

Summary
Radios, recovery, and romance.
Or, Harry starts listening to the radio. It gives him something to hold onto. (And maybe discovers the lost island of Atlantide while he’s at it.)
Featuring: WEATHER FM, SAD FM, MIRRORBALL FM, and SPEEDFREAKS FM
KIM KITSURAGI: “You know, when I was a child, I used to pretend I was flying an aerostatic through the pale and had discovered Atlantide. Mostly when I was trying to fall asleep.”
ESPRIT DE CORPS: He still does. Nights he really can’t sleep, he soars low, skimming the city: its tall clear buildings sparkling in the sun, the river snaking through the plain. Far below, a man looks up at him, shading his eyes. A child waves at him. A dog chases his shadow, snapping at it, never catching it.

Summary
Lieutenant double-yefreitor Harrier Du Bois is a dangerous man. He is a disease; he gets under your skin and spreads, awakens that old gnawing hunger in you.
You put a hand to your face, pinch your nose. “Violation of the peace - battery - littering-”
“Go on, then, arrest me, Kim,” he says, smirking. He’s loose and large and looks down at you. And you think about it. You really do. Turning him around, slamming him against the wall, face-first. He’s larger than you, but he’s drunker, and he gets clumsy when he’s drunk. You’ve practiced, years and years of it. You can have the cuffs on him before he even realizes what’s happening.
You think, ah, fuck it, and then you’re on him, one hand on his shoulder, the other on his waist, spinning him around, shoving him, and he loses his footing on the curb, stumbles, and you get him under an arm, pick him up, and push him face first into the wall, reaching for your cuffs. You’re breathing hard against his neck.
