Summary
Claude is both cute and pathetic struggling to hold back shivers, not that Dimitri would ever say either of those things to his face. Due to mysterious reasons Claude refuses to elaborate on, the archer has no tent and nothing but a jacket to keep him warm. Dimitri refuses to let Claude suffer alone through the rainy night.
Luckily, his sleeping bag is big enough for the both of them. It's nostalgic for Dimitri. Most Faerghan children spend the snowbound months sleeping together for warmth. He didn't realize how much he missed the companionship of his childhood until he had Claude shivering in his arms.
There's nothing weird about friends cuddling for warmth (even though Dimitri's not cold at all). It's... it's nice. Really nice. Nice enough to turn it into a habit.

Summary
An experimental spell hits the wrong targets, transforming Claude and Dimitri into creatures meant for the water. Unable to breathe air, the pair settle in the monastery pond while they wait for a counterspell.
Claude's new tail is a good look as far as he's concerned, though the boredom is getting to him. On the other fin, Dimitri's new mass of squirming tentacles don't sit so well with the prince. Or sit still at all. Especially since they don't listen to him. Especially especially since they are eager to act on his previously unknown crush on Claude. At least it gives Claude some enrichment to cure his boredom. Dimitri's not sure how long he'll survive the teasing.
Everything will be just fine. It's just a few days of being confined to the pond. Not like they'll do anything silly during that time, such as fall in love with each other. That would be ridiculous.
