Summary
“You know,” Sokka said slowly, “for somebody who acts superior all the time, you seem kind of miserable.”
The other man went very still. For one awful second, Sokka thought he’d crossed some invisible line. Then Zuko huffed quietly, almost like a laugh but not quite.
“Goodnight, Sokka.”
He brushed past him toward the door. Their shoulders collided lightly as Zuko passed, and he caught how cold he felt through the thin rehearsal shirt. Sokka stayed there another moment, staring at his reflection of the room in the mirrors. Then he looked toward the speaker, the discarded water bottle, the untouched food sitting half-hidden inside Zuko’s bag pocket before the zipper had fallen shut.
And for reasons Sokka couldn’t explain yet, walking away from the studio felt much more difficult than it should have.
—
Zuko is the best dancer at Agna Qel Conservatory. He’s also exhausted, starving, and emotionally volatile. Sokka plays hockey, thinks ballet is ridiculous, and keeps accidentally running into Zuko while picking up his sister from rehearsals. Unfortunately, the more Sokka sees of the ballet world, the less he understands why someone would willingly destroy themselves for it. -

Bruce Wayne spent his life trying to run away from his own feelings. He learned to build up walls, ways to protect himself. He split himself in two, Bruce Wayne billionaire playboy, and Batman the dark knight.
Then he meets Clark Kent, who rather than breaking through his walls, he finds the door and walks right in.
Clark opens him up, and finds the Bruce he thought died and was buried years ago.

Summary
“That’s cheating, Monsieur,” the wolf shifter complained, swaying on his feet as he fought the effects of the sedative.
“Only if one ascribes to the conditions of whatever game it is you seem to be playing. Make no mistake, this is my house, and when you’re in it, you play by my rules.” The clipped tone left no room for argument.
...
Wriothesley, a wolf-shifter hybrid at the end of his rope, finds himself pressured into accepting a bargain he wouldn't have been caught dead agreeing to, with the powerful Oratrice family he knows next to nothing about except, of course, that the current family head is devastatingly handsome. Tasked with playing the role of a double agent between the Berets and the Oratrice, while looking into a slew of problematic occurrences around the city, he finds himself slipping further into the web of lies he’s woven for years to keep himself alive and keep those with a grip on his and Winnie's life off his back. Will he finally be able to rid himself of the past and trust in those that have his best interest at heart? Or will he bite the wrong hand and reveal truths better left unsaid and secrets kept hidden for his own good?Series
