Summary
When Hawke and Fenris break up a small slaving operation in The Silent Plains, they’re baffled to discover a hurt Altus in the cells.
Dorian had been trying to do the right thing when the slavers found him. The mages of Redcliffe needed to be warned of the Venatori, of Alexius’ plans for them. But with the Champion of Kirkwall playing hero, he doesn’t have to do this alone. As long as Dorian doesn’t piss off the mage-hating elf at his side - or reveal the depths of his crush since reading Varric’s book.
A canon-divergent AU where Dorian meets the Champion of Kirkwall prior to Redcliffe and persuades him and Fenris to help.

Summary
After evading Denarius’ grasp for nearly three years on his own, Fenris finally has a group of friends, somewhere to sleep at night, and coin to pay for food. The past seven months traveling with Hawke have been a needed reprieve, despite many of the inconveniences along the way. However, he truly didn’t think Hawke’s taste in friends could get any worse until the gang runs into a Tevinter Altus down on his luck. Much to Fenris’ chagrin, Hawke invites Dorian Pavus to join them. Fenris might be learning not all mages are evil, but that’s just pushing it.
Tl;dr: Dragon Age 2 but with Dorian.
