“Boyfriend,” Taehyung blurts out, cutting him off.
It takes a second for Jungkook to process what just happened. In that second Taehyung is clutching Jungkook’s arm, his fingers digging in painfully.
“This is my boyfriend, Jungkookie,” Taehyung repeats.
“Hi,” Jungkook says, smiling weakly. He kicks Taehyung under the table, and Taehyung just kicks him back.

that’s not really it. jungkook was already taller than yoongi two years ago. and it’s not a drastic change by any means. it’s just that everything about him is… more. yoongi refuses to think of other words for it.
