he still loves josh. even after everything he’s done wrong, every crater in his soul, his heart, he’ll always find love to spare for josh. josh was his sun, after all, laying behind the hills, and he was the moon, idle in the sky, watching the sun and waiting for it to rise again. but when the sun would soon come back out, he would be the one laying behind those hills.

Summary
“Trench was a place in between two places, the place you want to be, which is currently unknown, and the place you don't want to be.”
Dema is dull. It is soaked in death, soaked so heavy it’s hard to breathe, and Tyler can’t take it any longer. Anything is better than this.
Trench, now Trench is so much, so full of color and love, and it takes him in with open arms. He’d never think that feeling this good was possible. It cleared his mind, made his heart ache with hope to an extent he’d never reached before. He feels reborn—he is reborn. Gone is Tyler. From a name on a grave, he takes on a new name: Clancy.
In Trench he finds a boy with sun colored hair and a gaze so warm it aches his chest. This boy is as if Trench was a person, so full of passion and care, and he is willing to give Clancy all of the love he holds in his heart.
In Trench, he wasn’t alone.

Summary
“You’re so much better than me in every way. I wish you could see that.”
“I wish you could see how wrong you are.”
OR
Tyler had everything a high school junior would want—popularity, a girlfriend, good grades, good looks—but nothing felt right. He felt like a fraud. He was never what anyone thought he was, and behind the facade of perfection, he was nothing. He kept the real him to himself. It was for him and himself only to know, and he was okay with that.
That was, until Josh, a perfect boy with a toothy smile whose fashion sense was stuck in the 2000s, came along. He seeped into the cracks of Tyler's mask and didn't leave, and for some odd reason, Tyler didn't mind.

Summary
Clancy has been poked and prodded and primed to be the spokesperson for Dema's latest invention—Mulberry Bliss, a candy-like pill that promises to offer its consumers pure mental bliss, likened to the effects of smearing. It works until it doesn't.

Summary
The lights in the building go off four minutes later, Josh checks his watch. Then the door opens- a slim guy, in black pants, black windbreaker, legs so thin Josh doesn't know if he should be worried or not for him.
The red beanie.
When the guy turns around Josh waves at him, just to be sure.
Though he was expecting a teenager, not a man his age.
"Hi."
Looks even thinner when the other walks up to him. A light scruff and big lips. Doe eyes.
A bit... empty.
"Hey."
It's that voice, it is, even though adult now.
-----------------------------------------In which Josh finds a bag full of cassettes abandoned in the snow, all commercial and worn from age and use, except two that are homemade.
One is blank, and the other says 'NPI'.Series

Summary
Tyler reached a hand up. He wanted to touch the sky. He wanted to pull the stars down around him so he could prove that nothing was brighter than Josh’s smile.
The sky wasn’t as beautiful as Josh. The sky didn’t have the deep warmth of his eyes, it didn’t have the sound of his laughter, there were no wrinkles or smile lines. No smell of aftershave and generic deodorant. Tyler didn’t know why Josh was so obsessed with aliens, when he was the most interesting thing Tyler had ever seen.
Why go to heaven when there was somewhere better far from the sun?
