Wilson severely underestimated how cold winter nights could get in California. Or maybe it’s the cancer, making him lose weight, messing with his internal thermostat. The point is, he’s wearing all the layers that he brought on this camping trip, but he’s still freezing.
“You’re shivering.” House calls from the other end of their tent, all of one foot away from where Wilson’s lying down in his sleeping bag.
“I’m fine.” Wilson lies, curling onto himself to try and preserve some semblance of heat.
“You’re not fine.” House sighs as he moves closer and unzips Wilson’s sleeping bag.
“Hey!” Wilson protests, looking over his shoulder to see House zipping their sleeping bags together. “What’s that for?”
“Body heat.” House says simply.
