    The texts tonight have been sparse—no wonder. We had the TV on at work ever since the news first hit to keep track of everything that’s been going on and so I know they’ve been busy. Busy is, of course, a huge understatement but there probably aren’t words that could appropriately describe the mayhem that’s hit the Pitt today.

    The last time Jack checked in with me, it was when he was leaving for the hospital, even though he wasn’t supposed to.
