When Jan Van Eck, Connecticut's Republican senator, makes a $30 million donation to Yale University, Kaz Brekker suspects foul play between him and the university president, Dr. Pekka Rollins. There's foul play, alright, but not the kind he expected. He also didn't expect to meet his five closest friends in the process of trying to take Dr. Rollins down. Yet, here they are, crammed into a restaurant booth like normal college students, celebrating over waffles after uncovering one of the biggest political scandals that America has ever seen (unlike normal college students).

It’s hardly a decision, refusing to go to Mustafar. It’s hardly a decision, breaking into the Emperor’s chambers in the middle of the night. When he watches Sheev Palpatine’s head topple to the blood-red carpet, he feels nothing. It was hardly even a decision.Democracy does not die with thunderous applause.
