Cui Buqu braced himself, his face turning green with distaste. “Of course I can assist him in beautifying it,” He gestured to the vast collection of powder and on the low table. Cui Buqu’s mouth opened, a sharp retort on the tip of his tongue, but Feng Xiao entirely ignored him, continuing his melodrama. “I’d honoured to help Ququ.” He paused once more, before slipping in a small jab “Don’t worry, you’ll be unrecognisable by the time I’m done!”
For once even Cui Buqu’s serpent’s tongue was tied.”
