Chris drums an anxious melody on the steering wheel and keeps his eyes fixed ahead. “At the shrine, I mean.”
Minho turns lazily, skull pressed into the window, eyes like the water at night. Writhing. Empty. “No one’s prayed to me in years,” he says.
Chris summons a dead god in a gas station bathroom. Minho makes the best of it.
