Summary
The Summer of 2008; a boy is found by the riverside, nearly drowned with severe injuries, not knowing his past, where he came from, or even is his name.
After being adopted, Qifrey tries to adjust to a normal life, but he's always the "other", the odd one out, to everyone. Everyone, that is, except the boy who just won't leave him alone. Olruggio. He keeps trying to be Qifrey's friend, and no matter how much he refuses, Olruggio is persistent.

Summary
The role of Watchful Eye was born from a place of distrust, and yet Olruggio had chosen it anyway so he could stand between Qifrey and the Council if it ever came down to it.
After Qifrey passes the Fifth Pentagram Test, he and Olruggio find themselves at a crossroads as they have a heart-to-heart about their futures as independent witches. This is Qifrey’s chance to leave Olruggio behind and free him from a burden he doesn’t remember carrying, but Olruggio isn’t having it.

“Well,” Olruggio paused as he ate some of the food, thinking it over. Qifrey might be able to help a little, he might have seen more of Custas than Olruggio had for a start. “Coco asked me to find out how to remove a silverwood seed from someone.”
A thud startled him, and he looked over to see Qifrey had dropped the book and was staring at him with wide, almost horrified eyes.
When Coco comes to him with an unusual request, Olruggio is more than willing to help out. But the more he researches and experiments, the more he can't help but notice about his best friend. When it comes down to it, is there any way to save a Silverwood host?
