Castle gets a call to meet Beckett at a crime scene. Little does he know what will happen when he gets there. When he steps onto the elevator it stops a few floors up to let a man Castle's never seen before step on. Before the elevator reaches his destination it stops, trapping him and the other man inside.

Summary
Set post Anslo Garrick, but before The Good Samaritan Killer, so a few spoilers though obviously AU: Red is gone. Liz tries to cope. With accusations in the office and the fact that her marriage is probably a sham and with Red dealing with his own losses, their emotional baggage leads to entanglement. What does anyone want but a real connection to someone else? First chapter is T, but will move to M. Warnings to come, in line with my usual style of smut, which leans toward the BDSM scale of the spectrum. There's none in the first chapter so, feel free to read.
