Pete looks down at his plain nails, grumbling. Patrick doesn't look up from his computer. Pete audibly sighs, and Patrick knows that his 'I need attention' sigh.
"What do you want?"
"I wanna get my nails done. My nail polish already peeled off and I looked naked without it."
"Alright, then paint them again, jeez." He goes back to his emails.
"No." Pete sits up and looks directly over at Patrick. "I wanna get them done." Pete suddenly reaches over and grabs Patricks hand, mid-email typing. "I want you to come with me."

Plagued by nihilistic thoughts on belonging somewhere, Patrick works hard to audition for the school's drumline - inspired by the talent of Andy Hurley. Joe and Patrick navigate their loneliness together and march forward while chasing their dreams. However, Patrick doesn't expect to be blindsided by the Senior soccer player and Andy's best friend, Pete, who seems to be everywhere. Patrick isn't distracted by his perfect hair, or his straight teeth. Patrick is definitely not distracted by Pete's toned abs while sneaking a look at him during soccer practice. Definitely not.
