“We were in love, weren’t we?” Dream asks, voice thick and George has to think. Were they in love? He sees all the days spent in a library, sees Dream trailing off to some math equations because he drank too much the night before, he sees himself staring at the blond man. He stares as Dream falls asleep next to him, stares when Dream picks up the pen George accidentally dropped down from the table. He stares at him that day inside the school bathroom, too.
