The anxiety that filled him wasn't too much of a surprise. It was a huge decision that had to be made and it had to be perfect. Although it did help that it wasn't going to be an overly hard decision. He knew he was going to ask him out no matter what. The decision was, how the hell he was going to do it. After all, Midoriya Izuku was a special person and simply asking him out was out of the question. It had to be in such away that it had to leave a lasting impression and of course get him to say yes.
“Shigaraki-sama, what are you doing?” Kurogiri asked, watching the man as he continued to plot. He was scribbling away furiously on a notepad that he asked for earlier. Shigaraki barely spared him a glance as he continued to write out ideas and figure out the best way to confess. Kurogiri peeked at the notepad and almost regretted it right away. Some of his ideas were rather...not meant for children.
“What's wrong with him?” Toga asked, taking a seat next to Dabi. The man was pointedly ignoring the ramblings coming from Shigaraki. The rambling had started after the last interview they had with another potential member. It had been a woman that had gotten horribly insulted by Tomura and used her quirk on him. Ever since he had been this rambling mess and Dabi was rather done with it at this point.
“Not sure. He's been muttering something about confessing his feelings for that Midoriya kid.” Toga gasped, realizing immediately that she had a contender for her precious Izuku. Even though Shigaraki clearly had met the hero before Toga, she was still convinced her love for him was greater.
“No! Little Izuku is mine!” Toga half shouted, turning to glare at Shigaraki's back. Her declaration had caught Shigaraki's attention which in turn made Dabi sigh in pure annoyance. This wasn't going to end well if both were adamant that this poor kid was theirs.
“What did you say?!” Shigaraki growled, getting up and walking over to Toga. The girl only glared at him, not flinching as he towered over her. “Midoriya Izuku is mine and I've just come up with the perfect plan to confess to him! I'm not going to let you fuck it up.” Toga growled in return while she made a motion to physically respond to Shigaraki. This was stopped by Dabi when he placed a hand on her shoulder. Tightening his hand in warning forced Toga to glance back at him and he shook his head. She scowled, crossing her arms over her chest and proceeded to glare at Shigaraki. She wasn't happy about this and she was going to be making Dabi pay for making her surrender her Izuku.
“Fine. My little Izuku is all yours.” Toga surrendered, continuing to pout as Shigaraki smirked in triumph. Excellent! Now all he had to do was gather everything and put his plan into action. He just needed Kurogiri to help him transport him and everything to his wonderful amazing Izuku. Once there he would make his wonderful and grand confession and get his love to accept him.
“Kurogiri I need you to take me places.”
Midoriya wasn't exactly sure what he was looking at. Sitting in the middle of his room was Shigaraki Tomura with a large television, a game console, and basically a buffet of junk food. All of which had not been there before. He almost wasn't sure what to do in this situation. He knew that he should alert someone that the villain was here but with everything in the room it screamed to him that the man had ulterior motives. None of which involved causing any actual harm to Midoriya.
“How did you get in here?” The door behind him closed as if by itself. Midoriya turned to see Kurogiri standing behind the door. Shit, the situation just keeps getting worse. Not only was the head of the Villain Alliance there but the warp gate villain. This would make any potential of capturing Shigaraki impossible. Quickly, he pulled out his phone but was stopped by Kurogiri as the villain used his quirk to snatch it from his hand.
“Izuku! Finally! We've been waiting for hours!” Shigaraki smiled, eagerly making his way over to Midoriya. The boy was in shock, if he tried to get help he would only put the others in danger but he knew he had to find some way to escape. Shigaraki stopped in front of him, pinning Midoriya in the middle of both the villains. Midoriya felt himself shaking a little as he watched Shigaraki's smile slowly fade and a blush start to cover his face. “I...I have something to ask you!”
Kurogiri had to place a hand on Midoriya's shoulder as the boy backed up into him. It was clear that Shigaraki was scaring the boy. The villain was glad that he had decided to stay because at this point in time he was convinced that Shigaraki would have gotten himself caught. Kurogiri bent down just enough that a now flustered Shigaraki didn't notice. “Please just hear him out. He hasn't been himself.”
Midoriya glanced at Kurogiri over his shoulder, preparing to fight his way out of the situation when suddenly, “I like you Izuku! Will you be my player two?!” Shigaraki thrust a controller out, his face bright red as he waited for Midoriya to react. The teen blushed and looked once again at Kurogiri as if he held all the answers. That was before remembering what the man had just said to him.
Hesitantly he reached out and took the controller from him, more or less just to get it out of his face. “Uh...sure?” Shigaraki brightened almost immediately before throwing his arms around Midoriya and hugging him.
“I'm so glad! I set this all up for you! I'm so happy that you accepted! I promise I'll be the best boyfriend!” Shigaraki rambled, tugging a shocked Midoriya over to the seats he set up in front of the television. At this point Midoriya was pretty sure that his mind was broken. From their only one previous conversation at the mall, Midoriya had been convinced that the man was determined to kill him the next time they met. Not this! Not confess his feelings and then getting him to play video games together.
“Boyfriend?” Midoriya managed to finally choke out as Shigaraki booted up the console. Kurogiri went back to lurking in the corner next to the door. He planned to stay there just in case they needed to make a quick escape. Fortunately he had the foresight to set up a chair there and had brought a book to read. Once the game started loading Shigaraki sat down very close to Midoriya with a wide grin back on his face.
“Yes Boyfriend. As in I'm your boyfriend and you are mine.” He leaned forward a bit which made Midoriya freeze in place. His eyes wide as Shigaraki stared intently at him before the games menu music pulled his attention away. “Let's play!” Midoriya let out his breath that he didn't even know he had been holding. The force of the man's stare had pretty much frozen him in place. He decided just then that it would be best for him and everyone's safety to go along with this.
For the next few hours Shigaraki had them playing a rather involve RPG game. He would pause it occasionally to feed Midoriya some food or something to drink. At first Midoriya was put off when Shigaraki insisted that he hand feed the hero in training but quickly got use to it. He even found himself blushing at one point when the villain gently rubbed his bottom lip to remove some sauce that was there. This whole situation was surreal and yet the teen couldn't help but feel a little special at being taken care of by someone. It felt nice.
“Izuku do you want to keep playing? It's rather late.” Shigaraki motioned towards the clock that sat on his desk. Sure enough, it was almost midnight and Midoriya had barely noticed the time pass.
“Ah! Yes I should stop now. I still have some homework to do before bed.” He turned back to the villain only to find him extremely close to his face. “Shigar-” He was cut off as Shigaraki placed a finger to his lips.
“Call me Tomura.” The man whispered just before he leaned in and pressed their lips together softly. When Midoriya didn't pull away immediately he pressed forward a little more. Putting a bit more passion into the kiss. To Shigaraki, having Midoriya's lips against his was heaven and made him only want more. He wrapped his arms around the teen to pull him close while he caught Midoriya's lower lip between his, licking it gently. Midoriya gasped a little in surprise which would have been a prefect opportunity to explore the tempting chasm that was his mouth but instead Shigaraki pulled back.
Midoriya couldn't believe this was happening. Couldn't believe his first kiss been with this villain that had at one point sworn to kill him. Couldn't believe that he was enjoying the feel of being pressed up against his enemy, soaking in his warmth. He licked his lips after Shigaraki pulled away, tasting the sweetness that came from the junk food they had been snacking on all night. “Tomura.” Midoriya's voice was laced with an emotion that the teen didn't want to think of at the moment. He could only stare up at the man as he licked his own lips, tasting the teen there. Midoriya watched as the man's expression slowly changed from one of complete fascination and adoration to one of shock and confusion.
“What the hell...” Shigaraki muttered to himself, letting go of Midoriya as fast a possible and shoving him far away from him. Caught off guard, Midoriya was tossed back against his bed, stunning him momentarily. “Kurogiri get us the hell out of here!” Shigaraki growled, once he had spotted the warp gate villain sitting by the door. Said villain had been focusing intensely on his book while the two had been kissing. Kurogiri hopped into immediate action and transported both himself and Shigaraki back to their headquarters.
Midoriya groaned as he sat up, looking around to see both of the villains gone. He sat there on the ground for a moment, remembering the feel of Shigaraki's lips against his as well as the heat from where their bodies were pressed against each other. His fingers lightly brushed against his still tingling lips as he stood and began to clean his room. Cleaning helped him focus and analyze what had just happened and it wasn't like anyone else was going to clean the mess up.
An hour later found Midoriya in bed with his room more or less cleaned up and the game saved and safely turned off. He didn't know why he felt the need to save their progress but he did it anyways. After all, they had put in a few good hours into game. With the memories of Tomura still in his head he fell into a fitful sleep. Waking occasionally as if expecting to see Tomura sitting on the ground playing the game still. At one point in the night he woke up to the television and the game console gone. He didn't know why but his heart ached to see them gone.
“I don't know what the hell happened but we wouldn't be bringing it up again. Understood?” Shigaraki threatened, hands twitching as he looked at the others. Dabi nodded, more than content to ignore the insanity that was Shigaraki's behavior yesterday. He thanked whatever deity out there that snapped their boss out of it and brought him back to normal. Toga was rather ecstatic, now that she could pursue Izuku again without Shigaraki standing in her way.
“We are all glad to see that quirk's effect has ended Shigaraki-sama. Everything is back in your room as you requested.” Kurogiri informed him. Shigaraki nodded his thanks before he left them to their own devices. He wanted to check on everything and make sure nothing had been planted to track their location. The others were more then fine to have some time away from their no longer obsessed boss, especially Kurogiri. He had seen more than he was willing to admit last night.
Shigaraki sat on his bed and booted up the game console. Everything checked out, not like the wannabe hero had much time to do anything to them even if he wanted to. Once the menu popped up he opened the save files and stared at the file that he created with Midoriya. He traced it with his eyes as if the game would tell him exactly why his heart was hurting and why his arms ached to hold a certain warmth against him again. Setting the controller down he continued to stare at the screen while his mind continued to go around and around until he could only come to one conclusion. He missed his player two. “Shit.”
