Bakugou held the knife and quickly cut the carrots, like if he was born to do it. He had always been really skilled when it came to making food, much to the surprise of others. But why? It was fucking necessary to live, and he happened to be really talented at it. After all, chopping things up also could release some pint of rage, and he got food in the end.
“Hey Deku”, he said and looked across the room, at his boyfriend who currently cut something else. “How’s the meat coming along?”.
“Pretty good Kacchan, this stew will be fantastic”.
“Of course it fucking will be, we are the ones making it”.
He gave Midoriya a huge grin before he took another carrot and repeated the process. Soon he had enough carrots, and then walked up behind Midoriya. He hugged him from behind, putting his arms around his waist before giving him a kiss on the cheek.
“Want some help? You’re slow as fuck”.
“Yeah, thanks. I’ll get the spices and heat the stove”, he said.
“Okay, put the onion, garlic and pepper in first, and the beef, and then carefully add vegetable oil and water, but not too much, we don’t want soup. Carrots and potatoes are added halfway so they don’t get mushy. Also, don’t forget to boil the rice again, we can’t eat stew without rice”.
Midoriya nodded and kissed Bakugou’s cheek in return.
“Thanks Kacchan, you’re the best chef ever”.
“Well, you will be a close second in no time, so you damn better learn”.
