Chapter 1: [Todoroki Shouto x Midoriya Izuku] Under the stars light (part 1)

Summary:

Part 1 of 2

Notes:

This oneshot will take place in the world of the ending credits of the 2nd season.
I always loved that credit scene so much (bakudeku fangirling intensifies) that I decided to make a oneshot out of it.
This will be the 1st out of 2 that are planned. Also this one is heavily based on how my bf asked me out (almost copy-paste) because he and Todoroki are both calm and quiet and cute.
But now TO THE STORY!

Ever since young Midoriya left his home to start his journey, his life turned into an adventure full of discoveries. Each day different than the one before, having new places discovered, new people met and new friends made.

Among those new friends there was a prince. A lonely prince with bicolored hair and eyes, known across the lands as the most perfect human being that ever existed. He was known for being calm and collected, smart, a fast thinker and also one of the most powerful among all kingdoms. The prince of Ice and Fire, they would call him. He would show a cold outside while having a burning passion on the inside, waiting to show itself to the right person, the so called "the one", the righteous owner of his own heart.

Barely did the green haired adventurer know that he was the target of that burning love that was lodged inside the prince's heart. It made him crave the innocent boy in ways never felt before. And it was all happening so fast... It has been almost a week since they've known each other.

They were now camping nearby the zone that was known as the "Dragon King Territory". Such lands could be dangerous if they got in the bad side of that king and that was something the prince was concerned about.

'I don't want any of them to get hurt...' the prince thought, unsure of what the future could bring.

"Prince? May I ask you what is concerning your mind at the moment?" the knight whose name is Iida asked.

"Iida... I am fine. No need to speak with me so formally after all we've been with each other for almost a week." the expressionless prince answered.

"But prince... the witch Uraraka is asking about your emotional state as well. Even the adventurer is getting concerned about you." Iida made sure to explain his initial question and to that the prince sighed, never letting emotion slip into his face.

"Can you tell Midoriya to come here? I want to ask him something."

"As you wish my prince." Iida bowed before the heterochromatic male and went to get the young adventurer.
Little did the green haired boy know the feelings the prince was trying to hide.

Speaking of him, the adventurer whose name is Midoriya Izuku was seating in a rock nearby the river. He was lost deep in thought wondering about their adventure and the dangers that laid right next to them.

'One wrong step and we turn into dragon food' he shuddered at such thought 'But on the other hand, dragons are creatures that are only sighted in his lands. Myths say that that they are breath taking and that they may vary in their birth element. There aren't only dragons that spit fire. It has also been sighted dragons that can spit ice, wind, thunder and even darkn-' by this time the boy was muttering is own thoughts, only to have them interrupted by his witch friend.

"Deku-kun you are muttering again" Uraraka laughed while the adventurer blushed with embarrassment.

"Ah! Uraraka-chan! I didn't even notice you were here sorry!" he looked at her embarrassed.

"No problem Deku-kun! What were you doing there? I mean... It's not usual for you to be alone. You are usually around the prince right?" she asked with curiosity laced in her words. She was used to see both of her friends around each other. 'They are always together almost as if they can't leave each other's side... Does that mean...? ' the girl wondered, not listening to her friend while he was answering to her own question.

"Huh... Uraraka-chan? Are you listening?" he was standing in front of her.

"It's nothing Deku-kun!" she got startled by his sudden closeness to her. She didn't even notice him moving from where he was. " I was just wondering that you and Todoroki-kun are alwa-"

"Midoriya! The prince asked you to join him at this instant." the knight interrupted Uraraka

Midoriya's eyes seemed to get brighter, his whole expression looked excited and happy by the simple mention of the prince. Tho the adventurer didn't notice that, his friends did. They noticed how the cute and innocent boy would be radiant of happiness.

"Okay! Then Uraraka-chan we'll continue this conversation later okay? Ah! Iida, where's Todoroki-kun?" he smiled

"He was by our camping site just now." the knight answered

"Thank you! See ya in a bit!" the adventurer ran towards their camping site, happy that the prince had asked for them to meet.

As they saw their friend run towards the prince's location, they both smiled fondly knowing the feelings that the boy was oblivious to.

Getting to their camp site, the green eyes scanned for the form he knew for almost a week. Upon seeing him, the boy sprinted towards the figure.

"Todoroki-kun!" He smiled, reaching to the figure happily.

The heterochromatic eyed boy looked at the one that called him. He smiled without noticing.

"Midoriya. I wanted to ask you something. Are you available in the 10th day after the day we met? I wanted to take you somewhere." the prince was with a serious expression, revealing how important the matter was.

"Yeah of course! May I know where are you taking me?"

"It's somewhere special. Meet me nearby the cave by the river at sunset. Well that is... If we survive tomorrow..."

The adventurer shuddered at such words 'If we survive huh?' He gulped at the anxiety that started to settle inside of him. The prince was noticing how tense Midoriya was getting. He placed a hand in the boy's shoulder, trying to calm him down.

"Don't worry okay? I'll fight by your side if it's needed." Those calming words helped controlling the anxiety that startled the boy's heart. Not only that but the way the prince spoke to him and his gesture. All of that was so soft and calming. It made the boy feel comfort and safety around him. He nodded to the prince to signal he listened to those words.

After that, both continued to talk about their adventure and the upcoming challenge they would have to face tomorrow.

'I really hope nothing bad happens tomorrow' the boy thought one last time before getting drowned in their conversation.
