Wei Wuxian was polishing his scales and humming cheerfully to himself. He has a mixture of inky black and blood red scales on his tail. His bite does not contain any poison in fact it causes the one bitten to have an increase in healing. Wei Wuxian lives a simple life with Wen Ning and they have been living together in this cave for about six years.
Wen Ning does not look like a threat and his face looks very gentle. His scales are light pink in color, they seem to glitter, and give off a kind type of feeling when one looks at them. However one bite from Wen Ning is fatal for everyone expect for those whose body is like a healing elixir such as Wei Wuxian.
It was during a stormy night in which a naga with a beautiful yet handsome face, perfect shiny white scales, long inky black hair, and jade like skin that showed up in their cave. The other politely introduced himself as ‘Lan Wangji’ and has a dire need for silver eggs which can cure any illness. He has been searching for days.
“May I please have ten of your silver eggs?” Lan Wangji asked while keeping his focus on those silver eggs which Wei Wuxian body is coiled around. He notices there are a lot of them.
“I will allow you to have ten of my eggs if you agree to become my mate.” Wei Wuxian replied simply as he coiled himself around his eggs. He has a lot more eggs and those eggs are special, but he has them hidden deep within the cave out of sight. Wen Nin watching from a distance and prepared to bite if the other naga proved to be dangerous.
“Shameless.” Lan Wangji muttered under his breath, fists clenched, and tips of his ears red. Wei Wuxian grabs a storage sachet and carefully placing a total of ten silver eggs within it. Wen Ning could tell Wei Wuxian was not serious about the whole mate idea.
“Here you go, Lan Wangji. You can stay until the rain clears up.” Wei Wuxian offered cheerfully and he shrugged his shoulders when the other naga rejected that offer. Wei Wuxian was surprised by Lan Wangji suddenly saying ‘Thank You’ and watched as the other swiftly slithered away in a hurry.
“When I see someone in need I just want to help them out.” Wei Wuxian commented as he makes his way towards Wen Ning. “Please keep a watch over these eggs for me while I check up on the others.”
Wen Ning nods his head and Wei Wuxian gives him a bright smile before going deep within the cave. Wei Wuxian knows some nagas lay eggs while other nagas do not lay any eggs. He wonders if other nagas lay eggs on a daily basis and none of his eggs are fertile for does not have a mate. The great thing is there is no pain felt when laying eggs.
“Ah my precious little beauties.” Wei Wuxian said happily while looking around with his eyes. There is where he keeps his colorful eggs. He keeps his silver eggs in plain sight at the front of the cave, but keeps the rest here. Some eggs are a solid color while others have two different colors and the rare eggs with three different colors.
Wei Wuxian does not know if this is typical or not, but never bothered to find out for he is happy to peacefully live in this cave with Wen Ning.
