Chapter 1: Monday Morning

Chapter Text

The two of you, Shota and (Y/N), have become a couple at last. Although, romantically, together, nothing seems very different over the next few months, all of which passing by in a blur.

"This Saturday," you had told him that Monday morning as he prepared to leave for work, "This Saturday will be our three month anniversary! And i plan to make it the best!"

He gives a small smile, admiring your enthusiasm but deep inside, he is freaking out. He was COMPLETELY inexperienced with relationships, let alone anniversaries. So he seeks help to give you, the perfect girl, the perfect gift.

The only problem was this: He didn’t know what.

He loved his (Y/N) with all of his heart, knew almost all of your interests -- due to you always adapting some new interest in something almost everyday -- and strived to be the best boyfriend he could be. But when it came to getting you gifts, that was another issue.

Again, you, practically loved everything so picking just one or two from the bunch was a tough task on its own.

He rested his head on the window of Hizashi’s car as the loud blonde talked away on the ride to U.A., his mind turning your words over and over again.

3 months already…. ” he thought, “ I can’t believe that much time has gone by already….Time flies when you’re having fun, i guess.

“SOOO….” Hizashi began again for the 7th time already, “How are things with you and your lady-friend ?”

Aizawa said nothing, giving a slow and lazy blink. Hizashi nudged him, not taking his eyes off of the road.

“Common, you can tell me!” he stated, a big grin appearing, “Unless you’re having some trouble you don’t wanna talk about!”

He gasped at the thought, “Wait! Are you having relationship problems?? You guys were doing so well together! Like Jack and Jill, Hansel and Gretel --” he gave another gasp before softening slightly, “RRRROMEO AND JUUUULIET. A love that was meant to BE.”

Aizawa’s bored expression became a scowl, trying his hardest to keep his gaze out of the window.

All was in vain in the end, Hizashi coming up with ridiculous ideas and possible stories for gossip cracking him at last.

“We’re doing fine, ” Aizawa snapped through gritted teeth, using left hand to rub his temple before a headache could rise, “Stop coming up with ridiculous ideas about us!”

“Kind of hard not to when you’re always keeping everything from me,” Hizashi noted, raising a delicate brow as he parked, “We’re PALS. At least tell me what’s got you deeper in the gutter than usual today.”

Aizawa shot him a glare before getting out and shutting the door. The entire walk to the teacher’s lounge would have been nice and quiet, since there were no students at the time but Hizashi stuck to his side like green on grass, almost begging him for information.

His heart sank into his shoes at the sight of Nemuri and Toshinori already there, having been so irritated with Hizashi and his pestering that he failed to notice that they were already there.

His heart met the floor the moment Nemuri took note of them, knowing that whatever going on with Aizawa must be good if he was still trying at this point and this hard. She stood and met them halfway, placing her right arm under the other and cupping her chin with her left hand.

“I wonder of what is going on today, Shota,” she chuckled, “You’ve only just arrived and Yamada’s all over you. What happened?”

“HE’S HAVING RELA---”

He didn’t get to finish his sentence, his words and breath being squeezed out of him when Aizawa’s scarf wrapped around him thoroughly, almost threatening to squeeze the life out of him. Unfortunately, Nemuri was a woman and being a woman she could easily decipher what his, being a man, problem was just from the short sentence Hizashi managed to get out and the way he was reacting.

“....you’re having relationship problems,” she stated, grinning cheekily.

Aizawa’s left eye twitched, “No, i’m---”

She gave him a side hug, patting his opposite shoulder, “Don’t you worry. Midnight is on the case~”

She, half, faced him, her chest mushing against his arm and her eyes sparkling as her right hand rose to roam his chest., “You’re body is practically crying out for some sort of help, even though you’re containing your frustration….it’s not healthy, you know~”

Toshinori cleared his throat, sort of reminding her that he was still in a relationship. She didn’t care one bit, focus entirely on Aizawa. “So tell me….how can we help?”

“I don’t need help ,” he growled, glaring at the wall ahead as his scarf released the slowly-bluing-in-the-face Hizashi. He sighted, using the hand on his free arm to pinch the bridge of his nose.

He was, internally, struggling with the situation. He would brush it off as a minor thing he could deal with later on but this isn’t minor.

You weren’t minor to him. If anything, you were the most major thing to him in the world.

So….maybe a little help wouldn’t be TOO much of a headache. It would still be a headache in the end, this he knew and would soon regret.

With a heavy sigh he lowered his hand, “....fine.”

You sat, alone in your home, running around planning for Saturday even though it was still, practically, the beginning of the week. Your heart and mind raced with anticipation as to what was going to come -- you didn’t know, nor have a clue as to what he would be getting you -- that is if he got you anything but instead, took you out for a night of fun!

Or maybe even have fun at home, instead….

The thought made you blush. The furthest either of you had gotten when it came to ‘physical contact’ was a makeout session. Not much removal of clothing yet not many words would be passed between either of you. There were a few occasions where you wanted to, just once , have him take you to heaven and back but each time either of you got close, he would reel you in. Gently and kindly but, all in all, it spoiled the moment.

You plopped onto the floor of your still empty guest room that was now, strictly the Yoga Room, only for you and Shota -- not like anyone else would be coming around to enjoy it, anyway.

You inhaled and exhaled slowly, calming your heart and your mind. For now, it was time for you to meditate. You had time He had time. Things would work out at the end of the week. Everyone would be happy.

Shota loved you more than you knew and you knew he wasn’t going to let you down.

You believed this wholeheartedly a small smile pulling at your lips.

Yeah....Saturday was going to be a good day.
