Chapter Text
[Name] glanced at her window, waiting to see if she was simply sleep-deprived and hallucinating, or if she actually heard something at her window. After waiting a moment and nothing happening, [Name] turns back to her homework. Until she hears it again.
Deciding to just look out the window, [Name] stands up and this time, actually catches a glimpse at what’s hitting her window. Tiny rocks. Rolling her eyes, she opens the window, ready to yell at the person interrupting her studying. “Finally!”
Before [Name] can say anything, she realizes it’s Tetsu. Sighing, [Name] begins shouting, “What the hell are you doing, Tetsu? It’s like 2am.”
Tetsutetsu grins, “Yet you’re still awake. Come down! I have something for you!” [Name] stares her best friend down before deciding to agree to meet him downstairs. Without responding; she simply closed her window, grabbed a jacket and ran outside.
“Whatcha got?”
“You!” Tetsu laughed as he picked [Name] up and spun her around in a tight hug. [Name] couldn’t help but laugh with him.
“Is that seriously all you wanted?” [Name] questioned with a smile prominently on her lips. Tetsu placed her down.
“Basically. I couldn’t really sleep and I didn’t want to study anymore.” He admitted with a shrug.
[Name] frowned, “Is there anything wrong?”
Shaking his head, Tetsu placed a hand on her head, “Nothing that a best friend meet up couldn’t fix!”
Chuckling, [Name] rolled her eyes, “Well, best friend, would you like to come in and help me finish studying?”
“Lead the way!” Tetsutetsu followed [Name] back into her home.
Perhaps someday she’d have the guts to tell him that she wishes they were more, but tonight isn’t the night. She’s simply happy to have him with her right now.
