Chapter Text
Prologue:
“We would like to adopt your most unwanted child,” The man next to the smiling woman said. Little did the orphanage know the woman was not actually his wife. The fake documents making them believe they were a married couple who decided to adopt since they can't conceive.
“Are you sure you would like to adopt him?” The head master of the orphanage asked. The man grinned.
“Positive.”
It was strange. The situation they were in. All were orphans, living in orphanages. Seokjin was the oldest at 8 years old. He was a desirable child to adopt. Handsome, talented, kind, but he was a troublemaker, refusing to follow any rule that was set for him.
Then came Namjoon, whom was smart, kind, loved to write, and had an over all mature vibe for a 7 year old. But he was a troubled kid with baggage that no adopting parent wanted to handle. So with his mohawk, that he gave himself and the orphanage threw a fit about, and sometimes concerning poems, he was never adopted.
At the same age as Namjoon, was Yoongi. Yoongi was shy. He was quiet and didn't play with the other kids, he could be standoffish. He was an angry kid, angry at life, for how it treated him. He understood more than he had wished. Parents avoided him all together. The orphanage begging parents to come try him out. He stopped trying, not wanting to be anyone's pity case. But he was secretly sweet and just wanted to love and be loved.
Hoseok was a wild card. He was energetic and happy at the age of 6 who wanted to be everyone's friend. But to everyone he was seen as ‘too much to handle’ and turned down over and over again. He tried to stay happy.
Taehyung was happy. At age 5, he had many friends, all entertained by the funny faces he made. He liked it at his orphanage, with many friends, so he caused havoc for any family that adopted him, refusing to be taken away. They didn't know why he didn't want to leave.
Jungkook was a perfect baby. At 3 he didn't cry a lot, he wasn't loud, he just cooed softly and smiled sweetly. He was adopted instantly, but the family died the day after adopting the baby in a car accident on the way to pick him up from daycare after their work days. He became known as the cursed child.
Jimin was so young. So young to go through everything he went through. At age 4, he was obedient, shy, sweet to everyone. But he always cried and spoke little. At one point they thought he was a mute. He cried every night in his bed. The other kids found him weird and avoided him. No one adopted the sad one.
