Authentic Blood Order

Summary:

Katsuki and Izuku's lives have been living hell for fifteen years. When UA implements a dorm system, Katsuki grabs at his chance to free them both.

Katsuki wants to be a hero, not an Alpha.

Notes:

Whether this becomes bkdk or not will rely on whether the power dynamics are too screwed up for me to do that to a ship I like... And I'll find out as I write!

Please enjoy this little snippet of an AU that's been eating at me for weeks!

Chapter 1: Disposal of Blood

Chapter Text

Packing up and moving into the dorms sounded awesome. Getting away from his freaky family would be a breath of fresh air and knowing Deku was safe from them was… indescribable. Katsuki wouldn't have to worry about his parents breathing down his neck about his sexuality, about Deku, and about those two things in the same sentence.

Honestly, it sounded like paradise, the only mark on this whole situation the fact that Deku still had that deadly order hanging over his head. If anyone finds out you're an Omega, kill yourself .

The first thing Bakugou did as he was unloading his stuff was toss out the stupid bags of blood his father had given him. It had started with Masaru yelling across the house:

“Katsuki!” his father had called. “Izuku! Come here!”

Well, their holiday homework was going to have to wait.

What the heck did his father want? He and mum had been overbearing since Katsuki was captured by the League and returned. It was all are you sure you want to be a hero this and Grandfather has said there will always be a place in the Order for you and your omega that.

Izuku jumped at the sound of Father's voice, his eyes wide and glazed with the need to please the Beta.

“You can stay here,” Katsuki interjected, putting as much authority into his words as he could. When Izuku ignored him, he bit his lip until he tasted blood, then swiped his thumb through his mouth and waved it in front of Deku. Deku’s nostrils flared, and he paused. Finally!

“I said you can stay here,” he reiterated.

Deku ducked his head. “Beta Masaru wants me,” he muttered, and he looked to the door longingly before his eyes went back to Katsuki's thumb with hungry eyes, like he was desiring the loss of self that licking the blood would bring.

“I just gave you an out,” Katsuki growled, but sighed in defeat. His father was a Type-B, and while Betas couldn't order Omegas like Alphas (such as Katsuki himself) could, they could manipulate an Omega’s emotions.

In this moment, Deku loved Masaru with everything he had, and left Katsuki's room to find him. Katsuki’s gut burned with the hatred he felt for his father.

He's mine , he wanted to spit at the open door. Hands off!

All Omegas need a Beta, his father said airily in the back in his mind. Until you marry, I will remain Izuku's.

When Katsuki got to the kitchen, he found Izuku sipping on a blood sachet like it was a juice packet. He looked from the packet to his dad, to the coolers he was packing. They were filled with little blood sachets.

“What the hell?”

Honestly, he didn't even need to ask. His mother and father regularly fed Izuku their blood to maintain their control over him. It was to be expected they'd give some to Katsuki and Izuku before they left for Heights Alliance.

Just to be totally redundant, Izuku took his mouth off the sachet he was sipping and said: “It's coz I might miss a dose of Alpha Mitsuki and Beta Masaru’s blood if we don't bring some with us.”

Katsuki looked into serious green eyes and felt a chill. He looked so happy to be a puppet. Well, Katsuki would have to play along for now.

Katsuki knocked on Izuku's door and glowered at the quick response he got as Izuku fumbled with the door and swung it open. He lowered his head in unnecessary submission as Katsuki entered.

Katsuki wasn't some shit who needed to be waited on hand and foot. He wasn't some arsehole who'd beat Izuku if he looked at him wrong. He didn’t need Izuku in his life. Izuku was unnecessary.

His hands shook with the need to make Izuku stop , to grab him by the hair and force him to meet his gaze, to punch him and tell him to fight back!

Izuku was trembling . Shit, Katsuki hadn't seen him like this since the start of the semester. His parents actually liked this from Izuku, and it made him want to puke. Had they done something to him when Katsuki wasn't looking?

“A… A-” Izuku stuttered the first letter of that awful address, Alpha.

“Drop it with the Omega shit, we're not on Order grounds,” Katsuki snapped, and Izuku made a small sound of distress. Stupid, useless---aaaargh, Katsuki rolled his eyes heavenward. “Just tell me where you put the blood. You have a cooler in here?”

Izuku nodded towards his desk. There was a cooler underneath--the same one the family had brought on picnics when he was young and stupid and almost naive, and didn't yet realise how fucked up it was that he had a pair of slaves sleeping in his basement.

He was a bit rough with it as he flipped it open. Those memories weren't nice . None of their lives were nice . And here was the blood that kept Izuku the docile slave, all laid out before him. The little bastard would passively sip it as instructed if Katsuki didn't do something about it. He slammed the lid back on the cooler and stood up with it.

“Hey!” Izuku protested, arms reaching forward as if to grab it. A hard stare made him drop his arms. He rubbed at his eyes. “I'm meant to drink that,” he said.

Katsuki snorted. “Yeah? Well, you'll have to take it from me.”

As expected, Izuku flinched and didn't make a move towards him. In every battle that they'd been paired against each other, Izuku had thrown the match. Katsuki couldn't tell if it was because of his Omega programming telling him Katsuki was an Alpha and someone he couldn't move against, if his parents had commanded him to never attack Katsuki, or if the nerd had tasted his blood at some point in the last year.

Couldn't be just the Alpha thing, could it? He seemed to fight Iida, Jirou, Koda, Hagakure, Yaoyorozu and Mineta just fine, and they must all register as Alphas to him.

They weren't Alphas, not really. Katsuki knew what an Alpha was. “I'm not a fucking Alpha,” he spat at Izuku, who backed towards his bed. Forget fighting, he wasn't even trying to hold his ground! Frustrated tears pricked at Katsuki's eyes. “I'm a gonna be a hero. And so are you! So…”

His breath was coming in pants. “So get over it! ” He slammed a hand against the cooler. Izuku jumped at the sound, and Katsuki marched out of the room before he could react to that . He slammed the door closed, but the sound of it failed to satisfy.

His rage didn't subside even when he'd thrown the cooler into the garbage and stacked trash bags on top of it. He just smelled foul.
