"Puuuuuush! C'mon! You almost got it!! PUUUUSH!!" you hear from your laptop, which was set on a small coffee table in the living room, "I'M PUSHING! THIS SHIT WEIGHS A TON!" you yell in irritation as you push a large box filled with your brother's stuff. It felt like it may have been his weights and gear.

"Then just leave it, I don't know how you are going to get that thing upstairs, girl, if I have to call an ambulance, you're on your own." You hear your friend, Veronica, say from the group chat you guys were currently on. You stopped pushing the large brown box in front of the stairs leading to the second floor and let out a large huff.

"Ugh, you're right. I hate having to do this on my own." You say wiping the sweat from your forehead with your shirt. "That's gross, don't do that! You look like you reek!" You hear your other friend, Josh, say. "Shuddup! It's not like I have a choice, my dad's at work, Josh is at school, and I can't hire anyone to help me move this shit because my dad is worried some asshat will try and steal something, I swear, he's getting worse and worse... maybe I should have just stayed back home." You say turning around and grabbing a smaller box with your brother's name on it and set it on top of the larger one.

"Just hire someone and make'em leave before your dad gets out of work. And if your little-big bitch of a brother is gonna go tattle on you, just make sure you send the movers away before he gets out of work." Veronica says as she opens a small pudding cup and begins eating from it.

"OOOOR, you could, you know... ask the neighbors for help? I mean, you've been there a month already, I'm sure they'll understand. Someone's bound to help you, right?" Josh asks and you sit on the large box as you take a break and hear them out.

"Well, yeah, I guess I could do that. The thing about that-" You begin only to be cut off by Veronica's large burp. "Oh great, what's the problem?" She asks as she sets the empty plastic container down and rests her head on one hand. Josh sneers and rolls his eyes at her, you scoff at her and slump in your seat. "Well, I was going to say what was wrong, but SOMEONE rudely interrupted. Anyways, it's been a little over a month, but not a single neighbor has come to greet us. I mean, I tried to say hi to them, but like... the houses all have large gates and intercoms soooo, once I started buzzing them and telling them who I was and that I JUST moved in all they said was 'Hello, welcome to the neighborhood.' and then they'd just leave me locked out!" You get up and walk up to the laptop and snatch up the water bottle that was next to it and you begin drinking from it.

"I thought you said it was a Close-Knit Community? Doesn't that mean everyone is all 'Howdy-doodily-neighborino'?" Josh asks and you nod while fanning yourself.

"Well, the stupid Real Estate agent said it was, but I think the word he was looking for was 'Close-off Community'." you say as you close the bottle and set it down again.

"Hold up, I gotta go take this box to Carlos's room, then I'll be back." You say as you head back to the smaller box that was resting on top of the larger box. "Alright, but just so you know... I might knock out soon, soooo... don't expect me to be up much longer, remember time zones are a thing." Veronica says and you turn to your laptop eyes slightly bugged out, you had forgotten. "Yeah, I actually got a test tomorrow, you know, I still go to school? Bitch you left me behind in my academics and here in this boring town! I'm so fucking jealous you moved to MerryHoe Japan." Josh says causing you to snort. "Ha! It's Morioh! The only Merry Hoe I see around here is ME." You say causing Veronica to groan and Josh to laugh. "You know when you insult someone you're supposed to insult the OTHER person, usually the one who came up with the stupid name, NOT yourself... right?" Veronica asks and you shrug before picking up the box.

"Can't make fun of me if I'm already making fun of myself. Think about that!" You say with a smug smirk. "Oh god no! STOP! Just stop with the Memes!" Josh says in exasperation. "Never! HAHAHA!" You say dramatically as you throw your head back and let out a cackle. "This! This is why you're alone! You DO realize that right?" Veronica says and you just smile at them and shrug again. "Oh well! But for real now, I gotta keep moving this stuff, y'all go to sleep. G'night!" you say and they return it with a wave and their screens turn black. Your shoulders droop as you turn to look at the large staircase leading up.

"Time to start again." You say as you begin ascending the steps. You heard your steps echoing through the building, reminding you how alone you were in this large house. It was about four times the size of your last home back in Texas. You were essentially tricked into buying this new home by the Real Estate agent helping you find a home. The only good thing you saw coming out of this was the massive backyard, it gave you plenty of room for you to have a half-pipe and pool constructed in the back, by the time you had all landed in Morioh they were both already constructed. You had even made sure it was legal by contacting the TownHall, you filed the proper paperwork three months prior and by the time you arrived BAM! They were all set, unfortunately you had only had a small chance to use the pool before you began unpacking and moving boxes and furniture around. Your brother and dad helped with the heavier stuff, but left the rest to you once your brother had to start attending school and your father had been called in to begin work.

So for the past three and a half weeks here you were, alone, packing and unpacking and moving boxes around. Your father would arrive home late and exhausted so you chose not to pester him to help you after work. Your brother on the other hand, would stay out until the late hours at night, he would originally say it was because he was staying to study with a tutor, but on your way to a near by grocery store you had seen him hanging out with three guys and a girl, he looked happy. You snuck away and never brought it up, he was making friends, hopefully good ones, not like those backstabbing thieves that had gotten him into trouble back home. You let him be after you saw him laughing with them and chose not to bring it up.

You reached the top of the stairs and walked to the far left side, the furthest room possible, that was your brother's room, your father's was in the Far right, opposite of his, their disconnection was evident with their room placing, you chose to get the room directly in front of the stairs, in the middle. You figured that if either of them had something they wanted to talk to you about, situating your room in the center would be the best.

You open the door and shake your head at the mess Carlos had left his room in and set the box on his desk. You close the door as soon as you exit and head to your room. You open the door and walk in, the room was barren of decorations. Boxes littered the desk and floor. You maneuver around the boxes and head to the window, you open it and let the fresh air in, Morioh was a beautiful town, it was fresh and breezy. Your old town was in Texas back in the US. It mostly consisted of dry desert, with cacti, Mesquite trees, dirt, small mountains, hills, tumbleweeds and more dirt. Even the air was dry and hot, but this was the complete opposite, you were glad you made the move even though you were sad you were all alone. Your father had began making friends with his coworkers and even your brother seemed to be making friends, and here you were. You were home alone, with grumpy neighbors, sitting all high and mighty in their thrones in their homes. Not a single one had made an effort to make you and your small family feel welcomed, maybe you just needed a pet? Something to keep you company. Maybe you should look for a job? Though, your laugh of fluent Japanese is what held you back a bit. Maybe attending college here would help? You shook your head as you backed away from the window and closed it. 'Nah, I don't even know what I want to work towards. I graduated early, now what?' You say as you start walking out of your room and down the stairs. You are half ways down when you hear the doorbell. You smile as you rush to the door in bare feet, you don't even care if you are wearing an over sized shirt and shorts, your hair in a messy ponytail, sweat still coated you. You didn't care seeing how this could be one of your neighbors finally stopping by. You reach the door and walk up to the small intercom situated next to it. A small screen on it displays a man holding a box, a large rectangular vehicle is behind him. He rings the bell again, and this time he buzzes the com. "Hello? I have a package here for [Name]?" says the man in Japanese. Your smile falls once you realize it was just a deliveryman he appeared to be in his 30s' and you let out a small huff. You push the button on the com and reply in Japanese. "I'll be there in a few seconds." He gives a thumbs up to the camera and smiles. (You could see him, but he couldn't see you.) You grab your keys and open the door and walk out with out placing your shoes on and head to the large gates. You go to the right side of the gates unlock the metal box and push a button. You close the case as the gates open and you hear the click of the box locking.

You walk up to the courier and he hands you a clipboard as he glances around the large building in awe causing you to smile at him as you signed your name at the bottom of the page. "Wow, they fixed this place up nicely! You know, people were once killed here?" He says as his eyes land back on you as you hand the clipboard back to him and he hands the package to you. You frown at him and glance up at the large building. "Really? How long ago?" His eyes travel up to the building again and he lets out a hum in contemplation. "I'd say it was about twenty years ago or so. I can't remember the details much, but no one wanted to move in, saying it was cursed and haunted." He said with a shudder. You quirk a brow at him as you both turned to look at each other again. "For real?" you ask and he smiles and nods, a glint of excitement twinkles in his eyes as he gets excited about the ghost story. "Yeah! The owner and his family were killed here, it's said that someone was living in the walls, watching them, waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike!" He says as he places the clipboard under his right arm and makes a pouncing motion with his hands. Your brows furrow and you frown a little. "Is that why the price was so low?" You ask turning to the large empty building. "Yeah, it'd only been getting cheaper and cheaper. I heard they managed to sell the house, I couldn't believe it! But now, here I am delivering a package to the new owner! Tell me miss, is it scary? Do you always feel like someone is watching? Do you hear strange noises at night?" He begins asking for details causing you to chuckle at him and shake your head as you cradle the box in your arms. "It's just quiet, nothing goes bump in the night. I don't feel uncomfortable or like someone else is there, just alone and peace." You shrug as you glance up at the large building one last time. He lets out a sigh and does a small bow. "I'm sorry, I just got excited that I was making this delivery. In all honesty, once we saw the street address, it became a the talk of the office and everyone was arguing over over who would get to deliver it! We all wanted to see it and see if we could catch a glimpse of a spirit or something. It's a little unsettling to even be standing here, I was hoping I'd hear about how scary it must be living inside it." He says letting out a small chuckle and you felt a pang in your heart, he wanted scary details, none of which you had. "W-Well, I didn't want to say anything, I thought I was going crazy! You see, I only said nothing happened because I thought I was imagining things! But now that you told me all of that, I know I wasn't imagining things! I keep hearing screams, footsteps and I always feel like someone is watching me." You tell him as you hunch forward and stick a hand out to whisper it to him. His eyes light up and he nods to you. "Oh man, that's so scary! Wait until the guys hear this! Thank you ma'am! I gotta go take care!" He quickly bows again, turns and exits, once he passes the gate, sensors pick him up walking out and the gates begin to close on their own. "H-Hey! I'm supposed to be thanking you for the delivery! Take care!" You say waving to him as he begins pulling away and he waves back while he honks and leaves your sight.

"So... you're a spooky boy?" You say as you glance up to the large house. The wind blows again causing you to shiver and look away from the house to the box in your arms. 'Veronica sent it? She never told me she was sending me anything.' You say as you begin walking to your front door. You enter your house, close it and lock it, You put your keys on the hook next to the door and you begin inspecting the box.

'Call me when you get this, I don't care what time it is.' it says on one side of the box in sharpie. You shrug and make your way to your laptop. Your phone rested next to it. You pick it up and dial Veronica's number. "Hmm? What?" you hear her groggily ask. "Hey, I just got a package from you? Why didn't you tell me you were sending me something?" You hear fumbling of material and hear her smacking her husband telling him to get up because you got their package. "DON'T OPEN IT YET!" She quickly yells. "Why? Is there a scorpion in here?" You ask as you rest the phone between your left shoulder and ear as you shake the slightly heavy box.

"Contact me through Skype! I want to see the smile on your face! By the way, I suggest you open it outside, we put butterflies in there and it's better if they fly outside. Call me through Skype! Bye!" She says and hangs up before you could say anything. You fold up your laptop, disconnect it from the charger and place it on the box after you place the phone in one of your short's pocket. You head through the large house, pushing a few doors open as you make your way to the back yard, you glance around and decide to settle with placing the stuff on one of the tables near the pool. You open the laptop and enter the chat room, Veronica pops online and she has a huge smile on her face, her husband , Sergio, was right next to her. He appeared to be much more exhausted than here, but both appeared to be equally excited. "Okay, V, I'd like to let you know two things before I open this box... One, is, it might be illegal to send animals and insects from one region to the other with the intention of setting them free because it may and WILL fuck up the ecosystem. The other... well, they might be dead, it takes like what? One month or two for mail from the US to reach Japan? Or did you pay for the animal care service or what ever that thing is called?" You ask unsure of whether you should open the box or not.

"Told you it was a stupid idea to say it was butterflies." Sergio says from right next to Veronica. She only rolls her eyes and drags a hand down her face. "Alright, fine you got me, it's confetti. We sent you a care package with those candies from Mexico that you like. So just put the box on the ground and open it up. You squint suspiciously at here and you carefully grab the box and place it a few feet ahead of it. "Wait! is that your pool? I can't see it! Open the box by the pool! It'll look really pretty!" You hear Veronica say and you stare at her with more suspicion. "You know... the more you guys are talking, the more suspicious I'm getting about what's in the box... just tell me... is it scorpion? Spiders?Poison darts?" You say as you place the box down on the ground and begin angling the screen and camera for them to see better. You begin walking to the box and sit behind it, your back to the pool. "What ever, we already told you it was confetti and candy." Sergio says dismissively as he lets out a yawn and stretches. "Yeah, now hurry up and open it so we can go to sleep!" Veronica says getting impatient causing you to eye the box in suspicion again. You shrug and let out a heavy sigh, 'better get this over with, I'll just clean the confetti later.' you say reaching over to rip off the tape from the top. "WAIT!" Sergio yells quickly causing you to retract your arms. "Is that the new halfpipe you had installed? Can I see it?" You glance back to your right side at the item in question,(it was built in the back left side of your lawn) you see some movement from the neighbor's side of the tall wooden fence. Just as you are about to call out what ever peeping tom was there, you hear a bark and see two small black and white ears bob up and down behind the fence. 'Oh! It was just a dog jumping... I guess.' you think mentally as you quickly focus back to the camera. "Yeah, she's a beauty! check it out!" You say standing up and grabbing the laptop and making your way over to it through the large yard. After about a minute of you carefully scurrying off to it though pavement and grass you hold up the laptop with the camera in it's direction. You hear the dog barking again, but choose to ignore it. "Look, I put a ladder, aaaaand, for my lazy days-" You say as you go off to it's right side, located next to the fence in the back part is a staircase. "-Staaairs!" You say excitedly. "And look! it's the good stuff!" You say knocking on the wood in different parts of the ramp and finally stomping on the flat part of the halfpipe.

"Oh man, have you christened it yet?" Sergio asks getting excited. "Nope, don't have anyone to help celebrate it with, hell, my brother's been off with his friends and hasn't even tried touching the thing." You rotating the laptop so it faces you as you begin making your way back to the box. You hear ruffling coming form the fence again and another bark causing you to stand still and look at the fence. "What's wrong?" Veronica asks in concern. "I think I keep hearing and seeing something, but I guess the neighbors have a bigboy or something." You say as you glance away from the fence when you hear another bark and continue your way back to the box. "Hey, it could be a biggirl. You know, I still want a couple of Great Danes, so they can have puppies so I can tell people they are Okay Danes, but will eventually be Great Danes." You snort at Sergio's lame joke and roll your eyes. "Oh god, people probably won't want Okay Danes. They'll probably think they are half breeds with a stupid joke like that." You say as you place the laptop down on the metal and glass table and fix it so that the box on the ground is visible. "Okay, lady and germ, let's get this show on the road." You say hearing Veronica say 'Finally' as you sit down between the box and pool with your legs crossed.

You breathe in and breathe out. You hated whenever they tried pranking you, you knew this wasn't any different so you knew something would either A) Jump out, B) Explode, or in your last Birthday's case, C) Do both but with paint included. You Peel off the tape and give it a couple of seconds to see if anything would jump up because of a hair trigger on the tape. You lean back a little still waiting for something to happen. "For fuck's sake! Open the Box!" You hear Veronica say as she holds back her laugh. "Hey, it's called trauma! I blame you BOTH for it." you say slightly flustered as you begin to open flaps, you peek inside as you open up the second flaps, and hear a small click. Your eyes open as you see what appeared to be a bowl of fine-shiny-rainbow glitter. You let out a gasp as a motor starts causing the glitter to shoot up at your face, it hits your eyes, goes into your mouth and you can feel it go up your nose as you try to breath. You panic as it begins to choke you and hurt your eyes causing you to jump up in fright and panic. You are having trouble seeing and breathing as you feel the small flakes invade your esophagus, nasal cavities and eyes. In your panic you don't realize Veronica and Sergio are screaming for you not to take a step back. You unfortunately do and you are met with the sudden impact of cold water.

Your body goes into shock and you try gasping for air but are only met with water. You are beginning to panic more as you realize you realize you can't breathe nor see because of the glitter and water.

You suddenly feel yourself being pulled out of the water and tossed onto the warm cement, prompting your to roll over and cough out water and glitter. You're on your hands and knees coughing away for a couple of minutes until you feel well enough to just sit. You didn't even pay attention to the voices around you nor the large hand that was soothingly rubbing your back. When you do you quickly try to rub away the excess glitter that is still irritating your eyes. "Oh my god! I'm so sorry [Name]! I swear, we didn't know that was going to happen!" You hear Veronica say. You quickly glance around still slightly coughing and shaking from the ordeal. "Oh! You're shaking, here, take my coat. Speedwagon, hand it here, please?" You hear a British voice say from next to you. You managed to remove enough of the fine glitter from your eyes and were now able to see decently, albeit a little blurry. Your eyes kept feeling irritated causing you to keep blinking as your attention turned to the two large blurs... or rather men to your right. "Wh-who are you?" You say in a hoarse voice as you begin coughing again. "Oh! My apologies! My name is Jonathan Joestar, I live next door to you, this is my good friend Robert E.O. Speedwagon. We heard some frantic noises coming from here and when we peeked over the fence we saw you fall in. I'm sorry for the intrusion, but I swear it was all in good nature." He says placing his large jacket over your frame. You were about 5'7, and this man still made you feel small. You hoped he really was friendly, he seemed pretty intimidating, well... for a blur anyways.

"Th-thanks, I g-gotta go." You say as you shakily stand up, you begin having trouble walking to the small table with your laptop. "Please call an ambulance for her! Call her dad, do SOMETHING!" "B-Bye Vero." You say as you close the laptop. "Would you like some help?" asked the yellow Blur, Speedwagon. "Yes, we would be more than glad to assist you with calling for assistance." Said the large blue blur, Jonathan as you let out a few small coughs and rubbed your eyes. "N-No, i-it's fine-" again you begin coughing causing your eyes to water and your nose to burn a little.

"Nonsense! Speedwagon, call an ambulance immediately, explain what happened. I'll call someone from her contacts." Jonathan ordered as he helped you sit down on the metal chair, trembling because of the cold and from what had just happened. "Is there anyone you would want me to notify specifically that we will be taking you to the hospital?" Asked Jonathan as he carefully began rubbing your back through your coughing fit. You only nodded to him and pointed to the cell next to the laptop. He quickly grabs it and hands it to you. You carefully rub your eyes to try and clear up your vision as best as you could and you begin pressing buttons on the screen and hand him the phone once you see your father's information under 'Dad'. He read the name and dialed the number.

You began feeling like shit, your head, nose, throat and eyes all hurt. you kept letting little coughing fits out. You didn't know how long you had been there for or doing that for until you heard Jonathan whisper in your ear, "The ambulance is here, we need to get you to them, I'll need to go with you since you are alone. Speedwagon will stay behind and take care of your property. I already notified your father, he requested I stay with you until he arrives at the hospital. I will need your ID though, since I don't know anything about you. You started feeling feverish and weak by this point. You lifted your head and right hand up with a bit of struggle as you pointed to the back of your phone case. It was both a case and a wallet. "Oh! There it is, I'll take your phone with me. Is that alright?" He asked carefully and you nodded. You didn't even realize the medics were there until they helped you onto the gurney and they began wheeling you away.
