In the world of criminal enterprises, there were only two types of Kims. You were either from the Busan Kim under the leader Kim Namjung and the fourth generation subgroup group acting directly from the Ahn's, or you were from the Seoul Kim under president Kim Hyunsik, fifth generation subgroup under the Lee's.
It was also known that the two Kim's did not get along, going under an unending gang war between the two groups whenever they meet.
However, for the sake of peace between the two largest Kim clans, the chiefs agreed that their children would join together in matrimony. Which meant (unbeknownst to) omega Kim Seokjin, 26, he was to wed (the infamous) Kim Taehyung, 23.
Originally, tradition ordered the oldest born to be bonded together, however seeing as Hyunsik's eldest son, Seokjoong, was an alpha and Namjung's eldest, Taehyung, was also an alpha, rules had to be bent. Taehyung's only omega sister hasn't reached puberty yet, and Seokjoong's omega brother made everything easier.
Seokjin, being the omega in the relationship, moved to Seoul under the protection of the Seoul Kim's, where Taehyung's family covered 70% of the territory.
