As you looked down at your short lacy white dress, it seemed as though you could identify every flaw; a wrinkle here and there, also how it was a bit too loose over your figure.
You groaned in frustration trying too at least relax as much as you could before you have to walk down the aisle but to no such luck you started noticing a few strands of your hair falling out of place, you tried to fix them but it seemed you were making it worse.
you huffed as you dropped your arms to your side , your mom appeared behind you in the mirror, she met your eyes and gave you a half smile “Honey are you okay?” She asked as she rubbed your shoulders in comfort “I would feel better if I didn’t look like such a mess” your mom gave you a confused expression.
”You don’t look like a mess you look beautiful Y/n” she turned you around to face her as you rolled your eyes “Mom I look like I just rolled out of bed and threw my hair up and this dress doesn’t fit right and my makeup-“ your mom cut you off “Y/N what is this really about? You look amazing!” She asked “I just want today to be perfect for him” you let out a small sigh as your head dropped.
”And it will be Y/N don’t worry yourself to much, its almost time to start so try to take some deep breaths before you go out there okay?” She gave you a small hug as she walked back out into the main hall, you decided not to look back into the mirror knowing you where only going to make yourself upset once again so instead you pulled out your phone to check the time.
4:56 it read,”Well looks like it’s time” you thought to yourself, you stepped out to see the small crowd of the wedding party, you smiled seeing them pair up to get ready to walk down the aisle that’s when you saw him.
Your eyes lit up as he made his way towards you “Hey Y/N” Jimin said as he approached you “Hey Jimin” you said while pushing your hair behind your ear nervously “You look amazing” he looked at your dress and then into your eyes, you sent a smile as a reply “you ready to do this?” He held his arm out for you to take which you did.
You both took your place in the line of the bridesmaids and groomsmen, you and Jimin were the first to walk; mid way through the aisle Jimin whispered to you “Hopefully one day this will be ours” he said while looking at all the decorations, you glanced at him “Maybe” you said back in a teasing tone, he slightly bumped your arm with a small chuckle before you had to separate.
You smiled at your brother Jin who was impatiently waiting for his bride, you could see his leg lightly shaking which is a habit he tends to do when he’s nervous, your pretty sure Jimin noticed as he put his hand on Jins shoulder lightly patting him in a way to show comfort, Jin sent Jimin a reassuring smile to assure him he was fine.

They we’re now halfway through they’re vows, you looked at your brothers bride, she looked absolutely stunning in her long white gown, you had no idea why she wanted an all white wedding but even though everyone was wearing white she stood out most definitely, you looked up to your brother but Jimins eyes caught you instead.
When your eyes met he smiled but he didn’t look away neither did you, you eyes stayed glued to each other through the rest of the ceremony, finally it was time for the reception.
Of course you were sat next to Jimin since he was your designated groomsmen for the night, you two engaged in small conversation here and there but it still was a bit awkward you hadn’t seen each other for a while.
The group recently took a extended vacation so Jimin has been in Europe; only yesterday he just got back so this is the first time seeing him in a year.
“Your glowing” You accidentally said out loud “Did you just say I’m glowing?” Jimin asked with a small chuckle “Yes, you look very happy” you replied.
He did look amazing, his skin was more on the tan side, his smile seemed brighter than ever, He actually looked very happy.
”I am happy, I got to rest, explore and eat amazing food but there was one thing missing” His expression changed to what looked like sadness, “What could possibly be missing in Europe?” You asked with a laugh, He grabbed your hands which caught you by surprised “You.. You where missing” His tone serious as he rubbed his thumb over your hand.
Your words caught in your throat not really sure how to reply so he took the lead “you should’ve come with me” he sighed “Y-you know I couldn’t” you said barely audible.
You so desperately wanted to go with him, you wanted to spend every minute of your day with him so this past year has been absolutely torture for you both but you both knew you needed it especially after that night he asked you to marry him.
~~Flashback~~
”Marry me Y/N” he said as he took out the ring for you to see closer, ”Jimin..” you said, “I-I cant” it broke your heart to say those words but it was the truth ”Why not?” He pulled your hands into his rubbing them gently, “Because right now is not the time love” you placed your hand on his cheek, seeing the small tears starting to form in his eyes.
“With everything that happened and still things with Jin and Tae, everything just got better” you confessed “But not with us Y/N, I love you so much and I want to be with you for as long as I live baby” he placed his hand over your hand that was on his cheek, “I know Jimin, I love you to but I think maybe right now we just need to focus on ourselves for a bit, this isn’t necessarily bye, it’s more of a see you later type thing” you tried to explain.
”Is this something you really want?” He asked “Yes, you focus on BTS and I’ll focus on my job, let’s be young adults right now Jimin, then if it’s meant to be we’ll find our way back to each other” now you were the one with tears running down your face.
”Promise you won’t forget about me” He sniffled his nose as he placed a weak smile on his face “I think it should be me worried about you forgetting me” you chuckled trying to lighten the mood.
his face grew serious “I could never forget you” he leaned in placing a soft kiss on yours, he pulled back and leaned his forehead onto yours as he left out a sigh “This isn’t goodbye?” He asked.
you shook your head no, “Never goodbye” you stated, he leaned back in one more time but instead he decided he was going to make love to you again and again that night, desperately trying to keep this moment alive for as long as he could before he knew he had to leave.
~~End of flashback~~
You noticed the upbeat song playing in the background had now turned into a slow rhythm song, Jimin turned to you and with that look in his eye you know an idea popped into his head.
”Dance with me” he said standing up and holding his hand out to you, “No I don’t know how to dance” you whispered in a hush tone not wanting anyone to hear.
”Y/N you don’t have to do anything just sway back and forth” he said as he gestured for you to take his hand one last time but you still didn’t budge so he grabbed your arm and forced you up and onto the dance floor.
You put your arms around his neck hesitantly, he chuckles at your nervousness “Now just move side to side” he said as he moved you both to the rhythm of the song.
You felt like all eyes were on you two, you looked around at the crowd seeing everyone minding their own business doing their own thing, you laid your head on Jimins chest as you both continued to ‘dance’.
You two continued swaying with each other for the next couple of songs wether they were fast or slow, you two just didn’t wanna let go of each other.

the night came to an end, as the guest sent off Jin and his new bride for their honeymoon, everyone started to make their way home, Jimin offered to drive you home so you wouldn’t be crowded in the car with your parents, aunts and uncle, your mother didn't even give you a chance to decline as she practically screamed yes for you.
As you two were walking to his rental car your parents car drove by slowing down besides you, the window rolled down as your moms head poked out "you two don't get into too much trouble now" she said as she rolled her window back up as they drove off, Jimin and you both looked at each other with a confused look as you both broke out into laughter "I swear that woman is something else" you said.
Jimin opened the passenger door for you which made your heart flutter from his kind actions, your apartment wasn't too far from the reception hall which you were a bit upset about, you didn't want this night to end already but you knew it had too, "Well here you are" Jimin said as you pulled up to the front of you building, you smiled as a thank you, you were about to open the car door when Jimin stopped you.
A small victory song played in your head waiting to hear the words "don't go" or "not yet" slip from his plump lips but it was actually the opposite, "Let me get the door for you" he then opened his own car door and ran around to your side to open the door for you, a small pout fell upon your lips as you swung your legs out of the car.
"You okay?" he asked noticing the frown on your face "Mhmm" you hummed as you fixed your dress as you stood up straight "Well it was amazing seeing you today" You said simply "you too Y/N" he replied back, you stood there for a few awkward seconds not sure whether to hug him or give him a handshake so you put out your hand at the exact moment he went in for a hug, you both chuckled at your miscommunication so you went in for a hug this time as he went in for a handshake.
"Maybe we should just hug" you said with a giggle "Good idea" he said, he pulled you by your waist into a warm hug, you took in the smell of his cologne: Oh how you missed that smell you thought to yourself, little did you know Jimin was doing the same thing.
you both pulled back you gave him warm smile, just looking at him was starting to bring tears to your eyes but happy tears, you where happy he was home "What's wrong?" he asked as he wiped the few tears that fell from your eyes "I'm just happy too see you that's all" you said softly "Well maybe I should start leaving for a couple of months if it makes you miss me this much" he teased, You hit his chest playfully as you sniffled your nose.
You didn't even realize what you were doing until it happened, You pulled him in for a kiss as you wrapped your hands around his neck pulling him as close as you could thankfully he melted into the kiss which made your stomach fill with butterflies, as you two separated you felt the urge to apologize "I'm sorry I didn-" you were saying but were interrupted by Jimin placing a quick peck onto your lips "Never apologize for kissing me" he smiled with his pearly white teeth.
"You should get inside it's getting late" he said as he unwrapped himself from you , you so desperately wanted to invite him up but you knew it was too soon, you nodded as began walking to the main door of the complex "Oh Y/n" Jimin called out, you turned around "Yes?' you asked "Can I take you out tomorrow? like on a date?" he asked "A date?" you chucked "Yes lets do it right this time" He said, you could see nothing but hope in is eyes "Okay tomorrow" you said "Tomorrow" he stated as he got into his car.

*2 years later*
"Nari! please be careful" you yelled towards your daughter who almost walked right into the wall of her bedroom but too no luck she still smacked herself against it, you rushed towards her side "Honey are you okay?" you asked as your rubbed the red mark that's slowly appearing, she nooded her head yes as she started to giggle "Clumsy just like your daddy" you booped her nose as she pushed her way out of your arms and again started running not paying attention.
instead of her colliding with another wall she was met with her fathers legs instead "Sweetie you have to watch where your going" he said as he knelt down to her height "Play!" she yelled, he chuckled at her cuteness "Have you brushed your teeth yet?" he asked, she nodded her head yes obviously lying "Nari don't lie" you said playfully "Did you lie to daddy" Jimin said as he faked gasped "Well maybe its time for the tickle monster" he yelled in a playful tone as he grabbed her and started tickling her sides.
The toddlers room was filled with nothing but laughter from the three of you "OKAY go brush your teeth then play time" he said as he released her, she ran out of the room yelling "KAY!" Jimin stood up and walked towards you with a huge smile on his face as his hand gravitated to your swollen belly "How's he feeling today?" he asked as he rubbed your belly.
"A little hyper, He keeps kicking" you chuckled, you grabbed his hand and moved it to the spot the baby usually kicks at "I don't feel anything" Jimin said with a pout "Just give it a second" you said laughing at his impatientness, then you felt the familiar little flutters as he started to kick again.
Jimin's eyes grew wide as if this was his fist time feeling the baby kick "I can't wait til he's here, then our family will be complete" he said as he kissed you "Unless you want more?" he asked "your funny" you said with a sarcastic laugh "Well just let me know and I can make it happen again" he placed a soft kiss on the side of your neck, you pushed him away "You stay 10 feet away from me mister" you joked.
"Mommy! Daddy! Painting!" Nari yelled from wherever she was, you and Jimin looked at each other with wide eyes as you both ran out of the room.
